In 2011 I graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Arts and majored in Social Work. I then went on to pursue my master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Akron and graduated in 2013. In 2014 I worked as a school-based therapist where I counseled children experiencing trauma, behavioral issues, adversity, family conflict and peer relationship challenges. I created treatment plans to help identify coping skills and promote desired behavioral outcomes. Additionally, I have over 10 years of experience in the field of child welfare. During this time I worked with children involved in various systems including juvenile court, foster care, mental health services, Board of Developmental Disabilities and educational providers. I worked with children and families experiencing crisis, depression, anxiety, PTSD, domestic violence, substance abuse and issues related to poverty. I assisted families process and problem solve challenges in their lives and supported them in achieving their goals. Recently I began counseling adults struggling with various mental health disorders and assist them develop coping skills.

I am an art therapist and LPCC-S (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - Supervisor). I have been working in the mental health and addiction world for over 20 years. I have had the pleasure of joining forces with children from the age of 3, to children the age of 87. I come from a family that has a long line of veterans and first responders.
