Hi, I’m Zyeshia, a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience in behavioral health. I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, and feeling overwhelmed or stuck. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard and accepted, where you can show up authentically without having everything figured out, while gaining a better understanding of the patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be affecting your life.
I draw from approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, and behavioral strategies, tailoring therapy to the individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether you’re looking to manage difficult emotions, improve relationships and boundaries, work through past experiences, or simply feel more in control of your life, we’ll work together toward changes that feel meaningful and realistic for you.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals process and resolve distressing memories and experiences. It uses bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements or alternating tapping, to support the brain’s natural healing process. Hello, I am Cathy Lipper, and I am a licensed clinical social worker who has been in practice for more than three decades. I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Chicago, which built a tremendous foundation for me to be in this field for such a long time. I believe that my greatest strength lies in helping people feel at ease when they are seeking help, since in itself, that can be so stressful. I use my personality combined with my knowledge base sprinkled with humor to find out what people are seeking and to help them reach those objectives.
My path into this work is deeply personal. I grew up witnessing how mental health challenges can be misunderstood and stigmatized, and how a lack of access to quality care can prolong suffering. That experience shaped my commitment to creating a space where clients feel seen, understood, and supported without judgment.
I approach therapy with a focus on understanding how past experiences inform present patterns, while helping clients navigate emotional distress in more manageable and empowering ways. My background includes work in a mental health clinic providing individual, child, and family counseling, as well as crisis support through the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, where I developed skills in supporting individuals during their most vulnerable moments.

I help clients slow down, listen inward, understand what their emotions are trying to protect, and begin relating to themselves with more clarity, compassion, and choice. My work supports emotional release, self-trust, nervous system awareness, healthier boundaries, and the gradual return to one’s own voice, body, truth, and power.

I would love to be able to work with you in being able to learn new coping strategies (or refreshing old ones and ones you didn’t know you had).

Hi. I am an experienced Masters Level social worker who returned to train for my LCSW in my late 40's early 50's. Prior to that, I was a 35 year veteran of hospital based, social work and crisis intervention. This combined experience, forged a professional style based upon helping people cope with unspeakable suffering, loss and drastic life changes. I believe that therapy works best when there is a working combination of insight and action and much of my work will involve helping you identify a next right step in addressing the challenges you face.
