New to Grow
Everyone needs help and it's OK to not be OK. I specialize in life transitions/new life roles, relationships, family issues, boundaries, parenting, and any stressors in your world. I provide a caring and safe place to talk through your concerns, challenges and barriers. I have extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, self esteem issues, relationships, LGBQT, and mood disorders. I always emphasis the importance of self-care and will help you develop personal methods.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Let's get to know eachother! Therapy is a two way street. We need to make sure we are a good match to work together. I will ask questions to get to know your presenting concerns and a little bit of background and you can ask me questions too! At the end of the session I will provide my assessment of what a treatment plan might look like, provided any recommendations, and steps moving forward.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
We all want to feel validated. I will listen, empathize, and validate while at the same time staying objective and guiding you to find a solution for optimal results in whatever your concerns are. I want you to walk away feeling more in control and confident in handling what is going on and be able to push forward.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I'm not sure if there is an 'ideal' client, however I will assess if virtual sessions are appropriate for your treatment needs.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Sometimes we are limited by our own perspective. Changing our lens can help us see things in a new and different way which will help us accept and cope with what is going on around us.
