New to Grow
Hello! I am an Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 8 years working in my local community working community and correctional mental health. I have experience working with those who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, sex addictions, relationship issues, parenting, self esteem, and so much more! I graduated with my Masters of Social Work in 2017 from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
During our first session together, I would love to hear your story and what brought you to scheduling an appointment with myself. The first session includes a lot of information gathering so I can better help support you and your journey.
I am an open minded therapist. I build rapport with clients to make this process easier for them to be more comfortable. I am laid back and supportive. I can be direct but also compassionate at the same time to help challenge your negative thoughts to do better.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Through the use of CBT I help patients learn the distortions they may and replace them with alternative, more positive thought processes
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
Accepting uncomfortable life changes, feeling and emotions to live a better quality of life.
Supportive
I support my clients in the decision to make their own choices. I don’t dictate to my clients the best answer, I help guide them to what is best for them and their lives.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
Breathe. Take slow, deep breaths. We all need a reminder to be more grounded as life is so on the go. Through the use of DBT, I support patients and clients into finding peace and calm through learning distress tolerance skills.
