Hi ! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive clinical experience working with individuals and couples. In addition to my private practice,I have been an Adjunct Professor for 15 years in a Graduate Program in Mental Health Counseling. I am also an author of a number of books dealing with mental health issues. I feel honored to work in this field and have established relationships built on mutual respect. My focus has always been on proving my clients with practical evidence based outcomes that have enriched their lives.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, I will listen without judgement and be supportive of your concerns. We will come up with a treatment plan going forward that is tailored specifically to your needs. Based on my years of experience, many clients are anxious about their first session. I will do everything possible to allay your anxiety.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My clients have told me that my strengths are being empathetic ,practical and nonjudgmental. Having been in this field for a number of years, my clients appreciate my knowledge of evidence based interventions.

Psychodynamic

Together we will examine through self-reflection and self-examination the symptoms that may arise from dysfunctional and problematic relationship patterns in your life.

Supportive

I will help you feel deeply supported and understood while helping you find ways to resolve issues you might be dealing with. I will encourage you to discuss your concerns ,feelings and difficulties in a safe nonjudgemental environment.

Couples Counseling

We can address a wide range of relationship issues to provide you and your partner the opportunity to discuss and resolve issues related to aspects of your relationship.
