Hi, I’m Josh Burke, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy across, Colorado, New York and Vermont. I’ve spent over 12 years working with individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, and major life transitions.
I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable. Because of that, I place a strong emphasis on building a genuine, trusting relationship from the start—one where you feel supported, understood, and able to be honest about what you’re going through.
My approach is both relational and goal-oriented. I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), which means we won’t just talk about what’s wrong—we’ll also focus on what matters to you and how to move toward it in practical, meaningful ways.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or navigating a significant transition, our work will center on helping you better understand your experience, develop new ways of responding to stress, and take steps toward the life you want to live. I tailor therapy to each person, recognizing that no two paths forward look the same.
I believe change is possible—even when things feel difficult—and I aim to walk alongside you in a way that feels collaborative, grounded, and forward-moving.

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in New York. I received my Masters from Columbia University and have been practicing for 5 years. I support children, adolescents, and college-aged young adults struggling with anxiety, self-esteem issues, and trauma symptoms. I incorporate creative elements to therapy and an unconditionally non-judgmental approach. My favorite part about therapy is walking alongside my clients as they work toward their goals, while providing validation, encouragement, and warmth every step of the way.
Born in Hong Kong and raised in Miami, Fl, my passion for helping others came at an early age. I earned a Masters degree in Social Work at Florida International University and later a PhD in Social Welfare at the City University of New York Graduate Center. My clinical training was in adult psychiatry at Columbia University Medical Center. In my private practice, I assist adults with depression, anxiety, health problems, relationship issues, grief/loss, work stress, breakup, infertility, and parenting.
From the outside, it may look like you have it all. You've built a successful career, business, or family, yet something still feels off. You may feel disconnected, misunderstood, stressed, or simply not as fulfilled as you expected to be. You might even find yourself wondering, "Why doesn't this feel the way I thought it would?"
If that resonates with you, you're not alone. Since 2007, I've helped individuals and couples better understand themselves by uncovering the relationship blind spots that quietly shape every area of their lives—from the relationship they have with themselves to the relationships they have with the people they love.
Many of my clients don't come to therapy because they're falling apart. They come because they know they're capable of experiencing more in life. More love. More connection. More peace. More fulfillment. They simply don't know what's getting in the way.
Together, we'll identify the patterns that may be keeping you stuck so you can begin creating the life and relationships you've been wanting all along.
My practice is intentionally small and built around a concierge model of care that differs from traditional in-network therapy. I work best with clients who are ready to invest in themselves through a committed, integrative process rather than casual weekly check-ins.
I'm a dedicated and compassionate psychotherapist with a strong focus on treating the whole person. With a deep understanding of the impact of trauma and the importance of cultural awareness, I'm committed to providing empathetic and effective support for individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
As a trauma-focused practitioner, I'm skilled in assessing and addressing the unique needs of my clients while fostering a safe and nurturing therapeutic environment. I value the importance of
cultural awareness in her practice, enabling her to provide tailored and respectful care to individuals
from all walks of life.
