Hi! I am Cheryl. I know reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, but I am so glad you are here. I help teens and adults figure out how to handle constant worry, big life changes, and the stress of relationships or a new baby. I also help people who are totally exhausted fix their bad sleep habits so they can finally rest. My goal is to give you a warm, judgment-free space to untangle your thoughts. If it makes you more comfortable, we can talk in English, Mandarin, or Taiwanese!
There is absolutely no pressure to have everything figured out before we meet. We will simply chat about what is going on in your life, what brought you to therapy, and what you hope to change. It is also a perfect time for you to ask me any questions! By the end of our talk, we will come up with a simple plan for our next steps.
We will work as a team to help you get unstuck. I am not just here to listen; I am here to help you move forward. Together, we will figure out what really matters to you and what kind of life you actually want to lead. We will also practice how to handle big, tough feelings so they don’t stop you from doing what you love. My goal is to give you real, simple steps you can take every day to feel better and build a life that makes you happy.

I also help people who are totally exhausted from bad sleep. I offer a structured, 6-to-8 session behavioral program that goes beyond regular talk therapy to help you fix your sleep routine and finally rest easily

This isn't regular talk therapy; it is the gold-standard behavioral treatment that helps you rebuild healthy sleep habits in a short, 6-to-8-session timeline. We will work together to break the cycle of tossing and turning, using proven, everyday tools so you can wake up feeling truly rested.
Psychodynamic
We will explore how your past experiences and early relationships might be quietly shaping the way you feel and act today. By understanding these deep-rooted patterns, you can finally break old habits and build healthier, more fulfilling connections.
Multicultural
We will look at how balancing different cultural expectations or adapting to new environments impacts your mental health. My goal is to help you navigate these specific challenges so you feel completely understood and respected.
