Hi. My name is Kelly and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey. I have been in the Social Work field for almost 15 years and have been practicing clinically for 12 years. I have experience in working with all age groups, from young children to young adults to geriatrics and in various settings, including but not limited too, outpatient settings, school settings, retirement home settings, and in home settings. I work with clients who may be struggling with mood regulation, such as depression or anxiety, and also assist clients with working through and healing from past traumas. I also have experience in working with parents who may need and want assistance with behavior management and modification with their children.
I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely seen, understood, and comfortable showing up as themselves. My approach is warm, collaborative, nonjudgmental, and grounded in authenticity. I strive to create a space where clients can be honest about the parts of themselves they may feel embarrassed, overwhelmed, uncertain, or stuck with—without fear of criticism or shame. I work with adults navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-esteem struggles, identity exploration, emotional overwhelm, and patterns that no longer feel helpful or sustainable. Many of my clients are insightful and self-aware but find themselves overthinking, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from themselves, or repeating cycles they want to better understand and change. My style blends practical skill-building with deeper emotional exploration. I draw from approaches including CBT, DBT, person-centered, existential, and motivational techniques to help clients increase self-awareness, develop healthier coping strategies, improve communication and boundaries, and better understand the underlying experiences shaping their current struggles. I value humor, honesty, curiosity, and creating a therapeutic relationship that feels human, not overly clinical or rigid. As a queer and affirming therapist, I’m especially passionate about creating a supportive environment for LGBTQ+ clients and anyone who has felt misunderstood, pressured to mask parts of themselves, or uncertain about where they fit. Whether you are looking for insight, coping tools, emotional support, or meaningful change, therapy can be a place to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel empowering, overwhelming, and uncertain all at once. Seeking support is a courageous decision, and my goal is to provide a safe, collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and supported throughout your journey.
I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Having lived and worked across different countries, I understand how deeply culture, identity, and life experiences shape the way we see ourselves and the world around us. I strive to create an environment where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions without judgment while building the skills needed to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and resilience.
My approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and collaboration. Together, we will work to strengthen coping skills, improve communication and relationships, process difficult experiences, and create meaningful change that aligns with your values and goals. Wherever you are in your journey, I'm here to support you every step of the way.
Life transitions, relationships in flux, maybe you haven't felt like yourself recently. Navigating hard emotions that keep you up a night, or preoccupy thinking, might be holding you back from enjoying activities and relationships you once did. Reasons for seeking therapy are unique and individual to you. You are deserving of a therapist who will build a space for you to be vulnerable with your story and emotions. Together, we can build a path forward through empathetic processing, acceptance, skill building, and goal planning.
Therapy is like a compass, it doesn't provide all the answers, but it provides direction. Focusing on your strengths, presenting problem, and future goals, our time together will be spent targeting false thoughts, realizing potential, and building trust in yourself.
As a person-centered therapist, I provide a safe and supportive environment to help clients explore their concerns. My approach is direct yet compassionate, utilizing creative, reflective, and engaging therapy modalities. I encourage the development of body awareness to examine the mind-body connection. Additionally, I incorporate a holistic view of spirituality, recognizing its importance in overall well-being and integrating it into the therapeutic process.
With over six years of experience in private practice, I am passionate about helping people break free from the patterns that keep them stuck whether it’s addiction, anxiety, depression, or unresolved pain from the past. I offer a compassionate and empowering space where clients feel safe to explore, heal, and grow. My approach blends evidence-based techniques with spiritual insight for those seeking Christian counseling, guiding each person toward lasting transformation and deeper self-understanding.

Hi, I’m Alicia Cadiz, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and the founder of Healing With Alicia. I provide 100% virtual, holistic psychotherapy for individuals navigating trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, anxiety, self-confidence, and personal growth. My approach integrates psychodynamic therapy with trauma-informed, somatic, attachment-based, and nervous-system-focused perspectives to help clients understand themselves on a deeper level. I believe healing involves the whole person, mind, body, and soul, and my goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where clients can reconnect with themselves, break unhealthy patterns, and build a life that feels authentic and aligned.
I have been working in the helping field since 2015. I utilize person-centered and positive psychology models and have experience in DBT, CBT and trauma focused care. My experience includes working with children, adolescents and adults in various settings. I enjoy being part of the process of helping individuals make positive changes and exploring issues to have improved understanding and better ways of coping with life’s stressors.
For over a decade, I've immersed myself in the realm of mental health care, where I meet my clients in the place they are in their emotional/psychological struggles. I am passionate about making a lasting positive impact in each and every client's life. To that end, I obtained a bachelor's, a master’s and a doctorate degrees in psychology.
My therapeutic approach is as diverse as the stories I encounter, tailored to resonate with each person’s unique journey.
I believe that each one of us has the answers to our problems inside of us. However, sometimes we need someone on our journey to help us unlock those answers by asking the right questions---things you may not have considered, presenting proven strategies, and psychoeducation. Although, you will make strides with the energy and effort you give, the number one predictor that one will improve is the quality of the therapeutic relationship. I hope to provide a place of warmth, compassion, and acceptance in which you feel empowered and free to approach any concerns. I am here to help you along on your journey.
I am a licensed mental health counselor in Arizona, Florida, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, and Utah. Change, even positive change can be challenging and uncomfortable. I hope to provide the necessary support as a champion of change.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work (Special) from the University of the West Indies in Jamaica and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from the Graduate School of Theology in Jamaica.
I have an extensive background in social work and counseling and have approximately ten years of combined experience, having worked as a Mental Health Therapist, an Outpatient Therapist, and a Licensed Professional Counselor. Many of the individuals and couples I work with are at a crossroads—frustrated, sometimes burnt out, and seeking practical, workable strategies for change. Therapy offers a dedicated, supportive space to identify obstacles and map a path toward meaningful personal growth.
With over 15 years of experience across healthcare, restorative justice, and outpatient settings, I provide telehealth therapy at Grow for adults and couples. My practice focuses on:
*Chronic Pain & Complex Medical Issues
*Anxiety & Phobias
*Fertility & Family Building Support
*LGBTQ+ & Gender-Affirming Care
*Eating Disorder/Substance Use Step-Down Maintenance: Supporting ongoing recovery from substance use or eating disorders following higher levels of care.
*Couples Therapy: Improving communication and relational dynamics (clinical outpatient focus only).
Practice Boundaries & Administrative Policies
To maintain a clear focus on clinical care, please review the following scope boundaries:
*Legal & Forensic Services: I do not provide forensic evaluations, court-ordered treatment, litigation support, or expert witness testimony for legal proceedings, divorce, or custody disputes.
*Disability & Administrative Paperwork: I do not perform disability evaluations or complete short/long-term disability claims; I do not write Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters.
*Telehealth & Medical Requirements: Virtual therapy for chronic pain, ARFID, or medical distress serves strictly as a complementary psychological service. Because virtual care lacks physical monitoring:
A. Clients with ARFID or eating disorders must maintain ongoing care with an in-person physician for routine medical safety.
B. Clients seeking pain reprocessing or somatic therapy must have their pain evaluated by a physician.
******If medical or psychiatric needs exceed virtual outpatient scope, I will assist with referrals to local in-person providers**************
