Who I am
My name is Danni, and I'm a Licensed Therapist. My approach is direct, heavy, and unapologetically thorough. I believe in getting to the root cause of your distress and dismantling it, brick by heavy brick. My goal is to guide you on a transformative journey toward a more fulfilling and authentic life.
My Approach and Beliefs
This is a form of progressive therapy, and it is driven by one core belief: that the most profound and lasting change comes from psychodynamic trauma processing and inner child work. We will not be skimming the surface. We will begin there, yes—at the surface of your current pain—but we will be following it down into the core of your past.
We will find where your coping mechanisms and triggers were first formed, because our deepest parts are often stuck in the moment of their original trauma. The goal of this process is to go back to that stuck place, find safety and stability, and then walk you through the developmental stages you missed so that the "inner child" can finally grow up and become one with your current self. This is not easy. It’s intense, it can be scary, and it will require you to face things you’ve likely spent a lifetime running from. We'll be going into the depths, so you can stop just surviving and start truly living.

I also work with clients who are dealing with serious health issues. I tend to use an eclectic approach in my practice, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I also augment these traditional modalities with the use of somatic therapies, such as yoga and mindfulness practices, to achieve a more holistic approach to wellness.

Admitting you might need a little help getting a handle on your life or the fallout from your past is difficult. Each person interprets the world based on life experiences that are uniquely their own. My goal is to assist clients in building a personal road map to navigate life and guide decision-making to gain an acceptable level of control in their life. I have extensive experience with law enforcement, military and ems.
I have over 20 years of experience in listening carefully to clients and understanding their unique perspectives and creating a safe and supportive space for them to express themselves. I create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and encourage feedback from clients as to what will help them feel most at ease and build trust in me and in the process of therapy.
As a compassionate and experienced clinician, I specialize in helping people navigate the complexities of anxiety, depression, chronic pain and grief. My therapy techniques are grounded in the latest neuroscience and nervous system regulation. My approach integrates Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), Emotional Awareness and Expression Therapy (EAET), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you unlearn pain and reconnect with yourself and others in a safe and more empowering way.
With a Master’s in Counseling from Oakland University, I specialize in helping individuals navigate challenges related to depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, life stressors and relationship struggles. I have been guiding people through life's challenges for the last 16 years. "As a highly experienced Licensed Professional Counselor with 27 years in the mental health field, I aim to empower individuals to find inner strength and confidence and to believe in themselves again. I work with clients through a solution-focused and CBT approach to identify and develop the skills needed to resolve their unique challenges and situations. I help clients to embrace their truth and live in the present, encouraging them to take responsibility for their actions while also reminding them that it is ok not to be perfect.
I have a breadth of experience working with youth and adults struggling with various mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and grief. In addition, I have specialized expertise in working with caregivers, primarily women, to help them overcome guilt, isolation, and overwhelming stress.
My ultimate goal is to provide clients with the tools and resources to change their circumstances and improve their mental health well-being. " I believe everyone has the ability to overcome life's challenges and deserve to live a happy and healthy life."
I’m a therapist who specializes in helping people navigate overwhelming emotions, difficult relationships, and life transitions. I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support clients in building practical skills for mindfulness, coping with stress, regulating emotions, and improving communication. Hi I'm Gaby. If you have been feeling sick and stuck in a negative thought process and wondering if there is anyone who can understand or help you, let's talk. I am here to help you experience change and escape from the pattern of life that has left you feeling different, unwell, and stuck.
I am first and foremost a Trauma Informed Recovery Therapist. This means that I believe in you and I believe in your goals and I know we can find a way to get there while acknowledging all that you have been through. I realized I wanted to become a therapist during a serendipitous summer camp experience—40 feet in the air on the high ropes course, I learned that I loved helping people process challenging experiences in creative ways. I love using a lot of different approaches depending on what we are working on. Some of my favorite methods are cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, strength based therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.
I have been doing individual therapy with teens and adults of all ages since 2020. Previously, I worked as a clinical consultant, clinical director, and clinical supervisor in specialized mental health rehabilitation settings. I have been supporting people in creating and meeting their goals since 2012. I have used all of my past work experiences to learn how to work with clients to explore dreams, and strengths, and learn how to make these things their reality. I use eclectic strategies to support people as they sort through their lives and figure out ways to move forward in a new light.
I believe that therapy is a special space that allows a person to sit, process, and problem-solve in a way that can’t always be done in day-to-day.
Hi, I’m Candace — a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s in Community Counseling from Lakeland University and a Bachelor’s in Sociology from UW-Stevens Point.
I’m a straightforward, no-fluff therapist who believes the best work happens when you feel safe enough to be fully yourself. My clients often tell me I’m not a “typical” therapist — and they’re right. I’m progressive, direct, sometimes sarcastic, and always focused on creating a space where you don’t have to pretend.
I work well with people who want honesty, humor, and real conversations — whether you’re dealing with anxiety, relationship issues, burnout, identity exploration, or just feeling stuck. I’m an animal lover (my dogs are basically coworkers), I have tattoos, and I’m not easily rattled. You won’t shock me, and you don’t have to filter yourself here.
If you’re looking for a therapist who keeps it real, creates a safe space, and isn’t afraid to challenge you when needed — with compassion and maybe a little dry humor — I might be a good fit.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, or unsure how to manage stress, emotions, or life changes, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself. I help children (6+), teens, adults, and caregivers build emotional regulation skills, strengthen resilience, and create practical strategies for daily life.
My approach is trauma-informed and paced with care. I support clients in understanding how past experiences may influence current patterns, while focusing on safety, skill-building, and grounding—not intensive trauma processing. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, somatic awareness, and experiential or strengths-based approaches.
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to balance their needs with responsibilities at home, work, or school. Together, we explore tools, insights, and strategies that help you feel more capable, grounded, and confident in your day-to-day life. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward at a pace that feels right for you.

Hello! I am a licensed therapist (LMSW) in Michigan with 19 years of professional work experience. I have expertise in helping clients with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, intimacy, positive parenting, and anger management. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming anything that challenges you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process. I look forward to our time together!
I believe in therapy as someone who has done my own clinical work since I was in my mid-twenties. I grew up in NJ and moved to Michigan to attend college and have been here since that time. I spent the first part of my career working in the foster care system with children and adolescents which I really enjoyed. That gave me a great foundation for working with the adult issues of attachment, child developmental stages that were not accomplished and struggles with current relationships.
I do a lot of work with people who were raised by narcissistic parents, people who are dealing with cancer diagnosis and those with chronic or life threatening illnesses. I work with people who are addressing childhood trauma, sexual abuse or emotional abuse. I have worked with adoptees who are seeking understanding of themselves and their past. I do a lot of work with individuals transitioning from a divorce situation and all the adjustments that this involves especially in coparenting situations. I find people and their life experiences fascinating and always worth unpacking and investigating to gain a better understanding of the self as a whole being; there is always something new to learn.

I integrate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based interventions, and other person-centered modalities. My goal is to meet each client where they are, empower them with practical tools, and work together toward meaningful, lasting change.
Throughout my career, I have witnessed many clients transform their lives—gaining confidence, improving emotional wellbeing, strengthening relationships, and cultivating deeper self-love. It is an honor to support people on their journey toward healing and becoming the best version of themselves.

Hello,
My name is Jennifer Bardon, a LCSW certified professional in the state of Michigan. Social work and behavioral therapy are my passions because helping others is truly what motivates and rewards me the most. Since receiving a BSW (Bachelors, Social Work) and MSW (Masters, Social Work) from Wayne State University, Detroit, nearly six years ago, I have been developing and practicing methods to better understand the human condition and how to modify it to help others through personal conflicts and struggles from insecurities, anxiety, depression, self esteem and so much more. Incorporating mindfulness techniques to assist clients with centering themselves, and focusing on the present, as well as challenging negative thoughts, is one of my many strengths.
I have experience with working with children, teens and adults with developmental disabilities. As a clinician that practices Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) certified professional, you can be confident I have the skill-set necessary to work with a diverse array of clients.
My focus is "You" the individual, and I encourage all my clients to help assist in utilizing and engaging in the recommended treatments thus giving them needed satisfaction in their own successes.
Note: Evenings and weekends are open for clients who have a busy work week or find those times most convenient. I do offer some flexibility if appointments are requested outside of my usual available times.
My one personal goal for you is to help you learn how to help yourself. It might sound cheesy, but I just want the best for everyone and sometimes that means stepping outside of your comfort zone and asking for help. I strive to help others learn how to help themselves so that they can learn to trust their gut.
