I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 21 years of experience supporting individuals across the lifespan. I have worked in diverse settings, including schools, universities, and community mental health. I specialize in anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, trauma, and relationship challenges. I am passionate about helping others heal, grow, and achieve emotional wellness through empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based care.
I earned my Master’s in Counseling from Oakland University and integrate cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed approaches into my work. I believe in meeting clients where they are and helping them build resilience, manage symptoms, and develop healthy coping strategies to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence.
I create a supportive, client-centered space where individuals feel heard and empowered. My work helps clients gain insight, improve communication, and build healthier relationships. With a focus on self-awareness and compassion, I support clients in fostering personal growth, emotional balance, and meaningful change.
I work with young adults and adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or weighed down by life’s challenges. Many of my clients struggle with depression, anxiety, chronic pain, stress, or difficult transitions such as ruptured relationships, parenthood, perimenopause, or grief. They often come to me looking for support, hope, motivation, and ways to feel more grounded and purposeful in daily life.
It's important to me to create a safe, non-judgmental space for you to feel deeply heard and supported, while also being gently encouraged to grow. While my approach to your care is personalized and collaborative, I draw from evidence-based methods like Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), DBT, CBT, ACT, and mindfulness to help you build tools you can actually use beyond our sessions. I bring not only knowledge, but also humility and lived experience to this work. My goal is always to co-create a space where you will feel safe, respected, and empowered.
Together, we’ll focus on managing distress, learning about emotions, building resilience, and reconnecting with what matters most to you whether that’s enjoying your relationships, finding balance, or reclaiming joy.

As a Marine Corps veteran, I bring deep respect for resilience, lived experience, and the courage it takes to seek support. Everyone has life struggles. I am prepared to help individuals and couples learn how to live life amidst struggles, such as depression, addiction, worry, financial stress, or marriage difficulties. I am blessed and honored to be in a position to use the gifts God has entrusted me with to serve others.
