LPC, 3 years of experience
New to Grow
I am a fully licensed professional counselor with three years of experience in the field. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling and have completed two years of supervised clinical practice, followed by independent licensure over the past year. My clinical experience includes working with individuals in crisis, supporting postpartum clients, and assisting those navigating significant life transitions. I also work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, or those seeking a compassionate and nonjudgmental space for support. My goal is to provide a safe, empathetic environment to help you navigate life’s challenges and move confidently into your next phase of growth.
In our first session, we’ll review your demographic information and informed consent documents, then take time to discuss what brought you to therapy in more detail. We’ll explore the information you shared in your intake paperwork and begin identifying your goals for treatment. This initial meeting also allows us to assess our compatibility and determine whether you feel comfortable moving forward together. Finding the right therapist can be an important part of the healing process, and I want to ensure you find the best fit to support your growth and success.
I have completed specialized training in perinatal and postpartum mood disorders and bring a wide range of clinical experience to my work. I strive to create a therapeutic environment that feels safe, supportive, and inclusive. My approach is empathetic and personable, helping clients feel comfortable as we work together toward healing and personal growth.
My ideal client is someone who is open to exploring their thoughts, willing to challenge old patterns, and ready to take an active role in their personal growth. Together, we’ll work toward creating meaningful change and building a more balanced, fulfilling life.
As a therapist employing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I focus on identifying and addressing the relationship between a client’s cognitions, emotions, and behaviors. Through structured interventions, clients are guided to develop adaptive thought patterns that facilitate behavioral modification and promote overall psychological well-being.
As a multicultural therapist, I adopt a holistic and culturally responsive approach to treatment, recognizing how each client’s background, lived experiences, and presenting challenges contribute to their overall development and influence their decision-making and behavioral patterns.
