I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been practicing in the local community since 2011. I began my career working with a non-profit by helping children, teenagers, parents, and couples who struggled with various issues, ranging from learning to cope with day-to-day stressors to healing from major traumas. In the years since then, I’ve helped young adults in college wrestling with academic pressure, newly blended families yearning for harmony, couples searching to renew faded intimacy, and individuals struggling to overcome addictive patterns. This broad range of therapeutic experience has helped me to become well-rounded as a mental health professional.

Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming—especially if you've tried therapy before and felt misunderstood, stuck, or unsure if it was helping. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment, and feel genuinely heard, supported, and understood. I'm Jenny, a neurodivergent Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work with adolescents and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, trauma, and burnout. I have experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, first responders, individuals facing fertility challenges, and perinatal mental health concerns. As someone who is neurodivergent myself, I understand firsthand that many people move through the world feeling different, overwhelmed, misunderstood, or exhausted from trying to meet expectations that weren't designed with them in mind. Whether you're navigating executive functioning challenges, sensory sensitivities, masking, burnout, or simply trying to better understand yourself, therapy can provide a space where you don't have to explain or justify your experiences. Many of the individuals I work with have spent years putting others first, minimizing their own needs, or feeling like they should be able to manage everything on their own. Therapy offers an opportunity to slow down, gain insight into what's keeping you stuck, and develop tools to help you create change. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based approaches. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, I work alongside you to identify meaningful goals and create a path forward that feels realistic, sustainable, and aligned with you. You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Whether you're seeking support for a specific challenge or simply feeling ready for change, I'd be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, and life transitions — those moments when things feel unsteady and you're not quite sure how to move forward. My approach starts with building a warm, genuine relationship where you feel safe to explore what's really going on beneath the surface. From there, I bring in practical tools — often drawing on CBT and coping strategies — so you leave sessions with more than just insight, but real ways to manage day-to-day. As a parent myself, I understand how life's transitions can test us in ways we don't always expect, and I bring that same steadiness and practicality to the people I work with.

My work is grounded in the belief that therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely seen, safe, and empowered, especially if you’ve felt overlooked, misunderstood, or disconnected in other parts of your life. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to you. I bring a calm, nonjudgmental presence to the therapy room, and I meet you where you are- whether you’re navigating anxiety, cultural identity stress, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, life transitions, or past trauma. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and one of the things I value most about this work is helping people understand themselves with more compassion and less judgment. So often, we spend years believing that something is wrong with us because we feel too much, shut down, overthink, pull away, become overwhelmed, or struggle to feel safe and connected. I don’t see those experiences as evidence that you are broken. I see them as places worth becoming curious about. I believe that people make sense. Even the parts of us that confuse us. Even the reactions we wish we could change. Even the ways we cope that may no longer be helping us—or may sometimes hurt us. There is a reason we learned to respond the way we do. Sometimes the ways we cope can become painful, overwhelming, or difficult to understand. Anxiety, depression, hopelessness, grief, intense emotions, withdrawal, conflict, or other patterns may feel like something that needs to be fixed or eliminated. I believe it can be more helpful to first become curious about what these experiences are communicating and what purpose they may once have served. I don't believe therapy is about turning you into someone else. It's about helping you come home to yourself—to understand what has shaped you, recognize what is no longer serving you, reconnect with what matters, and make room for the life you actually want. You don't have to have everything figured out before you come in. You don't even have to know exactly what's wrong. I work with individuals and couples experiencing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, hopelessness, grief, communication difficulties, relationship challenges, and difficult or confusing emotional experiences. . I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II).

My journey began in Zimbabwe, Africa, and for over 40 years, I have had the privilege of living and practicing in the United States as a dedicated mental health professional. I am the Founder of Global Training Coaching & Consulting Services, The Bounce Back Empowerment Services, and the annual Uplifting Bounce Back Empowerment Conference. As a licensed therapist, Christian counselor, and certified life, career, and business coach, I bring a unique blend of clinical expertise and practical strategy to my clients. I am deeply passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, rediscover hope, and build unbreakable resilience. Change, even positive change can be challenging and uncomfortable. I hope to provide the necessary support as a champion of change.

Hi, I'm Kelly McIntyre, LMHC, NCC, CCMHC, QS, founder of Sunlight Counseling and Assessments, LLC.I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe, understood, and supported while also being challenged to grow. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative. Clients often describe me as calming, honest, genuine, and approachable. While I provide empathy and validation, I also offer gentle accountability and encouragement when needed. I believe growth happens when we feel supported enough to step outside of our comfort zones, and I work alongside my clients to help them build confidence, resilience, and self-awareness.

You may know exactly what you want to change, but still find yourself feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or repeating the same patterns despite your best efforts. I often help with anxiety, depression, grief, emotional intensity, low self-worth, and relationship stress, especially when someone knows what they want to do but struggles to follow through. My style is direct, supportive, and down-to-earth, and I use CBT, DBT, REBT, and motivational interviewing to make therapy feel practical, collaborative, and genuinely helpful. I also bring warmth and humor into the work so it feels more like a real conversation with someone in your corner rather than being analyzed by some human computer
