I have lived a life much like most of my clients. I have experienced hardships and achievements, sadness and joy, and disappointment in myself and in others. For most of my life, I have been lucky enough to somehow “figure it out” on my own. At one point in my life, I made a commitment to myself that no one should have to “figure it out” on their own. We all need to have someone who is committed to helping us out when we are at our most vulnerable.
I’m a therapist dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges and build more meaningful connections. I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, life transitions, and self-esteem concerns, as well as couples seeking to improve communication and strengthen their bond. Together, we can work toward healing, growth, and lasting change.

I believe therapy works best when it feels human, safe, and real. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who enjoys walking alongside people as they sort through life’s challenges and begin to understand themselves more clearly. Many of the individuals I work with feel anxious, stuck, disconnected, or unsure of their direction. My role is to help you slow down, gain insight, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
My work is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gestalt therapy, and Bowen’s concept of differentiation. In simple terms, that means we explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns with curiosity rather than judgment. We look at the different “parts” of you that may be in conflict and help you develop the ability to stay true to yourself while staying connected to others. Over time, this often leads to healthier boundaries, stronger relationships, and a deeper sense of balance.
I value honest conversation and believe meaningful growth comes from awareness paired with action. Therapy with me is collaborative and compassionate, but also practical. I want you to leave sessions with insight you can actually apply in your daily life.
On a personal note, I’m married and a proud father of four adult children. I enjoy traveling, spending time on the golf course, and continuing to grow both personally and professionally. I believe growth doesn’t stop at any stage of life, and I try to live that belief myself.

You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Sometimes, taking the first step toward support can open the door to meaningful change.
You're showing up every day — at work, for your family, for everyone who counts on you — and from the outside, it looks like you've got it all figured out. But underneath, you're carrying more than anyone knows. The stress, the worry, the feeling that no matter how much you do, it's never quite enough.
I'm Season, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and the founder of U Matter Counseling. I work with professionals who are high-functioning on the surface but quietly struggling with anxiety, stress, and the pressure of trying to hold it all together. You don't need to be in crisis to deserve support — and reaching out isn't a sign of weakness. It's one of the strongest things you can do.
My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based therapies including CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused, and Person-Centered techniques. I also integrate faith-based perspectives for clients who find meaning in their spirituality. Sessions are 100% virtual, so you can get the support you need from wherever feels most comfortable.
My name is Leslie and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC). I have been practicing mental health therapy for over 17 years. In my private practice, Resilient Minds Psychotherapy, I am committed to providing affirming, culturally responsive care to a diverse range of clients. I welcome individuals from many backgrounds and I tailor my treatment to your unique experiences, values and goals. I believe we all have the capacity to be "Resilient" , and with gentle guidance and support, I will assist you with finding your resilience.

Whether you’re navigating a life transition, working through past experiences, or simply trying to find your footing, you don’t have to have it all figured out before starting therapy. We all have a starting point, and you’re welcome to begin yours here.
Welcome — I’m Glad You’re Here
For more than 13 years, I have had the privilege of helping individuals navigate some of life’s most difficult moments. I have developed a particular passion for supporting young women, from adolescence through their 40s, as they navigate the emotional, relational, and life challenges that come with growing and finding themselves.

It should help you understand yourself, your diagnosis, and how it impacts your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and daily functioning. My goal is to help you develop practical tools to navigate challenges and create meaningful change.
My approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, while remaining individualized to your unique needs. I bring authenticity, compassion and lived experience to my work. I understand that you can know what you should do and still struggle to do it. You can be accomplishing things, caring for everyone else, and quietly struggling inside. Therapy can be the space where you no longer have to carry everything alone.
My goal is not simply to help you feel better temporarily. I want to help you create lasting change. Together, we will work toward greater self-understanding, emotional well-being, confidence and resilience, so you can navigate life successfully and become the healthiest, most authentic version of yourself.
You do not have to have everything figured out before you begin. You simply have to be willing to take the first step.
