I'm Charonne Randall, LCSW-C, a trauma-informed psychotherapist, leadership coach, speaker, and founder of Cultivating Unstoppable You and Soar Beyond Coaching & Consulting. With more than 20 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and leaders navigate life's challenges, I am passionate about helping people move from survival to authenticity. At my core, I'm a down-to-earth, relatable person who believes healing happens through genuine connection, not perfection. Clients often describe me as warm, compassionate, insightful, and easy to talk to. I create a space where people feel safe enough to be honest about their struggles, uncover the patterns that keep them stuck, and discover new ways of living, loving, and leading. My work integrates evidence-based approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Relational Life Therapy (RLT), attachment-based therapy, and Christian counseling for those who desire faith integration. Whether I'm working with a couple seeking deeper connection, a leader battling burnout, or a woman who has spent years putting everyone else's needs before her own, my goal is to help people understand why they do what they do, heal the wounds beneath their protective patterns, and reconnect with who they truly are. My own journey through loss, life transitions, and personal reinvention has shaped my belief that our greatest challenges can become catalysts for growth and transformation. I am passionate about helping others remove the masks they've worn to survive, embrace their God-given worth, and cultivate lives marked by authenticity, purpose, peace, and meaningful connection.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is focused on getting to know you beyond your symptoms and understanding the story that shaped who you are today. I use an autobiography-style approach that invites you to share your life experiences in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space. Together, we will explore your early years, significant life events, family relationships, and experiences that may have influenced your beliefs about yourself, others, and the world around you. As you share your story, I listen for important themes, strengths, challenges, and patterns that may be impacting your current relationships, emotions, behaviors, and sense of identity. My goal is not simply to gather information, but to help you feel truly seen, heard, and understood. Many clients find that telling their story in this way allows them to begin making connections between past experiences and present-day struggles, such as anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, relationship difficulties, self-doubt, or feeling stuck. By the end of our first session, you will have a deeper understanding of how your life experiences have shaped you, and we will begin identifying the goals and areas of growth that will guide our work together. This session lays the foundation for meaningful healing, increased self-awareness, and lasting transformation.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach goes beyond helping clients manage symptoms, I help them understand the deeper story behind them. While many therapeutic approaches focus primarily on reducing anxiety, depression, or relationship distress, I help clients uncover the underlying experiences, beliefs, and protective patterns that have shaped how they navigate life. I believe that lasting change happens when people understand not only what they are doing, but why they are doing it. Through a blend of attachment-based therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Relational Life Therapy (RLT), and trauma-informed care, I help clients explore the roots of their struggles with compassion rather than judgment. Clients often tell me they appreciate my ability to balance clinical expertise with genuine warmth and authenticity. I am down-to-earth, relatable, and not afraid to have honest conversations that challenge growth while creating a space where clients feel safe, supported, and deeply understood. My work is especially impactful for high-achieving individuals who have spent years being the strong one for everyone else. Together, we identify the protective roles they've developed to survive, honor the purpose those strategies once served, and create new ways of relating to themselves and others that are rooted in authenticity rather than performance. Rather than offering quick fixes, I guide clients toward meaningful transformation, helping them heal old wounds, develop healthier relationships, strengthen their sense of self, and live in greater alignment with their values, purpose, and faith. My goal is to help clients move from surviving to thriving, from self-protection to genuine connection, and from simply functioning to living a life that feels whole and fulfilling.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is the strong one, the leader, helper, caregiver, and high achiever whom everyone depends on. From the outside, he/she appears successful, capable, and put together, but beneath the surface he/she feels exhausted, overwhelmed, disconnected, and unsure of who he/she is beyond the roles he/she plays. He/She struggles with perfectionism, people-pleasing, over-responsibility, anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, and difficulty setting boundaries. Many of these patterns developed as survival strategies in response to early attachment wounds, unmet emotional needs, family expectations, or past experiences that taught them to prioritize others while neglecting self. He/She is not looking for a quick fix, he/she is seeking transformation. He/She wants to understand why he/she does what he/she does, why they keep repeating certain patterns, and how to stop performing and start living authentically. Most importantly, he/she desires to reconnect with their true self and become the woman God created him/her to be, rather than the who he/she learned he/she had to become. I help him/her unmask the protective patterns that no longer serve him/her, heal the wounds beneath them, and cultivate a life of greater authenticity, confidence, connection, and purpose.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

I offer Christian counseling for clients who wish to incorporate their faith into the therapeutic process. My approach combines evidence-based practices, including IFS, RLT, CBT, and attachment-focused interventions, with biblical principles that support healing, growth, and emotional well-being. When desired, sessions may include scripture reflection, prayer, and exploration of spiritual concerns. I help clients address anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, perfectionism, and life transitions while developing a stronger sense of identity, purpose, and connection with God. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can experience both emotional healing and spiritual growth.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients better understand the different parts of themselves that influence their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Many people find themselves feeling conflicted, part of them wants change while another part feels afraid, overwhelmed, or stuck. Rather than viewing these reactions as flaws, I help clients recognize them as protective parts that developed to help them cope with life's challenges. Through a compassionate and nonjudgmental process, clients learn to identify and understand the roles their various parts play, including those that strive for perfection, avoid conflict, seek approval, remain hypervigilant, or carry emotional wounds from past experiences. Together, we work to build greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and emotional regulation by honoring each part's intention while helping clients access their core Self; the calm, confident, connected, and wise center within. My goal is to help clients move from self-criticism to self-understanding, creating internal harmony that allows them to respond to life's challenges with greater clarity, authenticity, and confidence. Through this process, clients often experience deeper healing, healthier relationships, and a stronger connection to their values, faith, and sense of purpose.

Attachment-based

I use an attachment-based approach to help clients understand how their early relationships and life experiences influence the way they connect with themselves and others today. Many struggles with anxiety, trust, boundaries, self-worth, conflict, and emotional intimacy can be traced back to attachment patterns developed in childhood. Together, we explore how past experiences may be shaping current relationship dynamics, emotional responses, and beliefs about safety, love, and belonging. Through increased awareness, self-compassion, and corrective emotional experiences, clients learn to develop more secure relationships, communicate their needs more effectively, establish healthy boundaries, and build a stronger sense of confidence and connection. My goal is to help clients move from patterns of fear, avoidance, or people-pleasing toward greater emotional security, authenticity, and healthier relationships with themselves and others.
