With over 20 years of clinical expertise, my approach integrates body-centered techniques to help you decode physiological stress signals, restore autonomic balance, and process underlying trauma. Whether you struggle with setting boundaries, fear of rejection, people-pleasing, or repeating unhealthy relationship patterns, I help you gain clarity, build confidence, and develop healthier connections with yourself and others. Hello, my name is Celina Piernik. I offer in-person or virtual therapy sessions, allowing you to connect from the comfort of your own space. With a background as both an educator and counselor, I’ve always been dedicated to supporting others. My work is shaped by personal and professional life experiences, and I understand that we all need support at different points in our journey. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a Mindfulness-Based Approach to help females navigating anxiety, depression, grief, self-confidence, trauma, and women’s issues.
I entered the field of social work 10+ years ago to advocate for and assist others in finding their voice. I quickly learned I was able to use my skills to help clients overcome obstacles and navigate broken systems. Over the course of my career, the need to address mental health disparities became apparent, as did the lack of available providers to do so. I became a licensed therapist to help clients live a life free of shame, one that is authentic without needing anyone else’s approval.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, and life transitions — those moments when things feel unsteady and you're not quite sure how to move forward. My approach starts with building a warm, genuine relationship where you feel safe to explore what's really going on beneath the surface. From there, I bring in practical tools — often drawing on CBT and coping strategies — so you leave sessions with more than just insight, but real ways to manage day-to-day. As a parent myself, I understand how life's transitions can test us in ways we don't always expect, and I bring that same steadiness and practicality to the people I work with.
I've been a clinician for over 25 years, providing evidence-based clinical counseling and clinical hypnosis to those impacted by grief and loss, life changing events, relationship issues, anxiety and stress. I have worked with children, adolescents and adults and specialize in Military and family life issues.
We all struggle sometimes. I like to help you build a self help toolbox to cope when life presents us with unexpected situations or events. My goal is to help you help yourself, but also know when to reach out for help if you need to. I want to humanize and normalize situations and events that set us back a bit.
I provide a safe place to share difficult situations without judgement. You matter!

Welcome and hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist along with being an International Certified Gambling Counselor, Level 1 , a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional and a Qualified Supervisor in Florida. I have found an incredible passion for helping individuals. I have worked extensively in substance abuse, with woman's issues (infertility), trauma, couples, gambling, intimacy issues and family therapy. I feel it is an honor to get to work with someone during their decision to grow. I feel that my desire to help others come from my own personal experience.
I am an LMHC therapist, public speaker, community organizer, social and environmental activist, and have been listening for decades. Trauma Supportive Therapy is used to safely address, as slowly as need be, the pain of the past that keeps coming to trip your defenses in the present at all the wrong moments. I can be that supporting presence who will help sort it out by listening, sincerely hearing you, reflecting the depth of your feelings back to you. I practice the therapy of defining personal meaning, so, together we will think about your options, planning, purpose, and goals for living a meaningful life without being afraid of tripping over your past or yourself.
I practice person centered therapy by meeting you where you are. I strive to be culturally sensitive, non-prejudicial and use strength-based therapy as a jump point, truly believing I am the guide for you, but you are the treasures and wisdom keeper. Of all the reasons people come to therapy: anger, guilt, anxiety, changes, transitions, depression, trauma, jealousy, and “it is just not working anymore”, the extra burden of race and racism is more than just a nuance to be nodded at in therapy. I will view race as central to all the other pieces, when it is central to you.
I am inclusive, secular, competent, affirming, and non-judgmental. I have worked with people in transition, people who are very much defined, “but things got complicated”, people in the communities of LGBTQA, Polyamory, Kink, non-gendered. Each are safe and welcome here.
Feeling exhausted from carrying the weight of parenting, family responsibilities, and your own emotional needs? You're not alone. I specialize in supporting burnt-out moms, children, and teens through trauma-informed therapy that helps families reduce stress, improve communication, heal from difficult experiences, and reconnect with their strengths. I became a therapist because I am passionate about helping people heal from difficult experiences, build resilience, and feel more connected to themselves and others. Having navigated my own journey of healing and personal transformation, I feel deeply honored to walk alongside others as they discover their own strength.
Life can be both beautiful and challenging. At times, we all require support to navigate our journey towards healing. I am an EMDR Trained Therapist, specializing in the treatment of trauma and PTSD, CPTSD, maternal mental health, anxiety and depressive disorders, adjustment disorders, relational trauma, self esteem, interpersonal difficulties and phase of life issues.

A good therapist will not shame or blame you; will not try to become your parent or your buddy. They will cheer you on your journey and at times, help you see yourself in a new and different way. They will not do the work for you. They will help you keep accountable to yourself and the goals you create together in the work. They will encourage clear communication, authenticity, patience and compassion both for yourself and others.
Accountability is a necessary part of any therapeutic relationship. I require at least 24 hours' notice prior to cancelling your scheduled appointment. Same day cancellations or no shows are subject to a Grow therapy fee of $50. Similarly, if I have to cancel within 24 hours' notice your next session will be free.
The therapy process is engaged, dynamic and can be immensely satisfying. I look forward to your journey and wish you courage, compassion and power!

As the wife of a physician and someone who has worked closely with RNs, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, I understand firsthand how emotional exhaustion and constant pressure can take a toll. I’m especially passionate about helping healthcare providers heal from compassion fatigue. I am a laid-back therapist, so it’s not unusual for me to wear jeans or sandals at the office. I have lived experience with mental health personally.
I believe that one of the most important parts of therapy is the relationship you have with your therapist. Feeling safe, understood, and supported makes real healing possible.
I work with young adults healing from childhood trauma and PTSD, and with individuals navigating major life changes related to medical conditions or aging. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence based practices to help you better understand yourself, build resilience, and regain a sense of control.

Hi I'm Berekat Petros, a licensed mental health counselor. I've been a practicing therapist for over 12 years in various settings, working with a diverse client population. I love the therapy experience and watching my clients get better through our work together. I have been fortunate thus far in my career to have worked with hundreds of clients, and have enjoyed the privilege of helping them. I have strong academic foundation in evidenced based treatment methodologies, and to that I add lessons learned from my own life experiences as a husband, a dad and a friend.
