I believe in the power of faith to guide healing, and I am honored to walk alongside individuals who desire therapy that aligns with their beliefs. My unique background supporting clients both in the corporate world as well as inpatient clinical setting allow me to form strong alliances with a wide range of individuals. Having the ability to make one feel heard, understood and valued is a particular strength and one that gives me great purpose. I specialize in supporting adults, young and older, struggling with stress (work related or personal), anxiety, depression, addictions and unhealthy relationships. I also assist with healing from grief and loss, traumatic experiences, and life transitions.
Through a process of providing you with opportunities to improve self confidence, make lifestyle adjustments, and find acceptance, you are able to discover inner serenity and resiliency. We will peel away the layers that no longer serve you.
You’ve already taken the hardest step—deciding to make the changes needed to improve your life. You’re finally putting yourself first, and that takes real courage, especially if you’re used to caring for everyone else before yourself.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I’m here to support you through life’s challenges with compassion, understanding, and practical guidance. I help adults manage anxiety, navigate transitions, and strengthen their emotional well-being using a flexible, client-centered approach. By integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and strength-based practices, I’ll help you uncover your resilience, build healthy coping skills, and create lasting growth.
Together, we’ll create a safe, supportive space where you can heal, grow, and move forward with confidence and clarity.
You are here hoping to find that therapist who stands out to you because you want to find someone who can help you. The search can be overwhelming for some. Most of the profiles of therapists are going to say similar things. Most of which should be standard like brakes on a car.
I cannot promise I'm the right one for you. Here is what I can tell you about my approach. I believe in being practical which means I will not use a lot of psycho-babble or fancy strategies. I have a tendency to be blunt. My wife says I'm the "bluntest politest man" she has ever met. I'm going to be real with you.
I love couples/marriage counseling, and that is my main focus. However, about half of my clients have always been individuals. Some people just need a place to vent. Others need help solving a problem, and most people need a little of both.
I know therapy might be a little intimidating or even scary to some. Try to think of it as a massage for your brain. It's a place where you can say whatever you want guilt-free.
