You are the expert of your own life—your experiences, feelings, and thoughts are invaluable guides to your mental well-being. In my practice, I take a Whole Health approach to counseling, supporting you in a way that honors your unique needs. I believe that true change comes from nurturing every aspect of your life, including diet, exercise, sleep, and more. My goal is to help you unlock your potential and cultivate lasting growth, using your insights as the foundation. If you’re ready to invest in your mental wealth, I’m here to support you every step of the way. My path to becoming a mental health provider began with a deep curiosity about the human experience and a genuine desire to help others find meaning and healing in their lives. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand how life’s challenges can impact our well-being, and I saw the profound difference that compassionate support can make. These early experiences inspired me to learn more about how we cope, grow, and ultimately thrive, even in the face of adversity. As I continued my education and personal growth, I became increasingly drawn to the field of mental health. I was captivated by the resilience and wisdom people bring to their healing journeys. I realized that being a provider would allow me to walk alongside others as they navigate their unique paths, offering guidance, encouragement, and evidence-based tools to support their goals. What truly motivates me is the belief that every person has the capacity for growth and transformation. I am honored to help create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make positive changes. My journey as a provider is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and a commitment to whole-person care, and I am grateful every day for the opportunity to support others.

Hi, I'm Taylor. I'm so glad you're here. It’s no small thing making the decision to sign up to talk to a stranger about the overwhelming and very often draining circumstances that you’re in. I want to highlight how much being on this site, and looking through profiles is such a significant step toward your mental health goals. Anxiety and improving self image are at the core of my work. I focus on helping clients develop flexible thinking and self-compassion — practical tools that help you step away from self-criticism and patterns that keep life feeling heavy. The goal of this work isn't about becoming a perfect version of yourself. It's about learning to navigate life's challenges with greater flexibility, confidence, and self-understanding.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex and high acuity mental health needs. My work is grounded in trauma informed and trauma responsive care, with a strong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent clients, and individuals in rural communities. I work across the lifespan, including children (7+), adults, older adults, families, and couples. My approach is collaborative and empowering, centered on the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives and require my clinical expertise. I often describe my role as “working myself out of a job” to help clients build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to advocate for themselves and navigate systems independently. As a trauma specialist, I tailor evidence based interventions to each client’s identities, needs, strengths, and goals. My primary approaches include Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-(EMDRIA certification pending), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I also integrate Internal Family Systems informed interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure based strategies, mindfulness, and other approaches as clinically appropriate. I adapt treatment for neurodivergent clients and clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities because therapy should adjust to the person and not require the person to adjust to therapy. I am continually shaped by the courage, insight, and lived experiences clients bring into our work. Every advanced training, specialty, certification, and state license reflect lessons learned from clients. I carry their trust, stories, and influence into every session with gratitude and responsibility. My work as a therapist has given me the privilege of supporting people from many different backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life. Through these experiences, I've come to appreciate that while our stories are unique, many of us share similar struggles: wanting to feel connected, understood, accepted, and at peace within ourselves. I view therapy as a collaborative process rooted in curiosity, self compassion, and growth. Whether you're navigating a difficult chapter or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I aim to provide a space where healing, insight, and meaningful change can emerge.

I was drawn to this work because I know the impact that support from others can have. At different points in my life, I have benefited from people who helped me face challenges, understand myself more clearly, and move through difficult seasons with more honesty and direction. Those experiences taught me how powerful it can be to have someone help you feel less alone while also encouraging growth, accountability, and change. That shaped my desire to offer the same kind of support to others.

In and out of the therapy room, I show up as an authentic, warm, and grounded human being. Clients often describe my presence as a balance of steady calm and active engagement. I listen with deep curiosity and without a shred of judgment, creating a sanctuary where you can drop your guard. I balance gentle validation with honest feedback. I will kindly challenge you when necessary to help you grow. I do not believe therapy has to be cold or clinical. We will laugh, celebrate your wins, and navigate heavy emotions together. I view you as the ultimate expert on your own life. We operate as equal partners in your healing journey. My clinical framework is flexible and integrative. I reject one-size-fits-all treatments, drawing instead from multiple evidence-based modalities to treat the whole person. My approach to therapy is shaped by a deep respect for the human experience and the resilience it requires to navigate modern life.

Hello! I'm a bubbly, laid-back person who also believes in the importance of assertive communication. I love meeting new people of different cultural backgrounds. In my practice, I enjoy working with people who are adjusting to a new life, including teenagers, young adults, and older adults. Transitions can be extremely difficult leading to trouble making decisions, worry, depression, and substance abuse. It can be difficult to function well or thrive while adjusting to life right outside of college or adapting to retirement life after a full-time career of many years. Finding your way can be an exciting journey yet also bring about anxiety you may have never experienced before. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Texas and Colorado. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at The University of Texas at Austin and obtained my Master of Science in Counseling at The University of North Texas. I have 14 years of experience working in the mental health/substance use field and have been in private practice for 3 years.

Hello! My name is Donna Contreraz. I believe my role as a therapist is to form a collaborative partnership with the client, working together to decide on the best path forward. I grew up in Las Vegas, NV in a big, blended family. During my internship and following graduation, I worked at an inpatient treatment facility for teens dealing with high suicidality, self-harming behaviors, and psychosis. It was during this time that I began to recognize how much work can be done to prevent crises before they strike, rather than trying to figure it all out afterwards. Also, it isn't just big things like suicide that can be prevented-working to decrease stress, anxiety, increase fulfillment..these are worthwhile too. If you feel nervous/weird/awkward/anxious about therapy, that’s normal. All I can say is, you matter. You are an important part of the world. Let’s work together and see if maybe, just maybe, things could get a little better.

Hi! I'm Kat, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work with adults, who are dealing with anxiety, stress, relationship problems, and the pressures of daily life. I believe therapy can be a place to slow down and better understand what's behind the challenges you're facing. My journey in mental health began working with people in crisis. Since then, I have worked in many different settings, including doctor's offices, intensive group programs, and private practice. These experiences taught me that mental health is about the whole person, body, spirit, and the people around you. Over the years, I have gotten really good at helping people who are dealing with grief, depression, anxiety, and addiction. My approach is warm, gentle, and free of judgment. I want you to feel safe being yourself and talking openly about hard feelings, past experiences, or patterns in your relationships. I believe real change comes from both understanding yourself and feeling supported. I work together with my clients to help them communicate better and take better care of themselves. Sometimes my job as a therapist is to challenge old beliefs that are holding you back. Therapy can bring comfort, but it can also help you face hard feelings and learn how to work through them. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience helping people navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and identity questions. My style blends depth-oriented therapy — exploring the deeper patterns and stories that shape you — with practical, evidence-based tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I spent nine years on the Boulder Crisis Team, providing psychiatric evaluations in ERs, jails, and walk-in clinics, which taught me how to stay calm and effective in moments of distress. In our work together, we’ll use both insight and skills — helping you understand the roots of your struggle while learning concrete ways to regulate emotions, change unhelpful patterns, and create a more meaningful, resilient life.
