About me

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes therapy should feel like a place where you can be honest, understood, and genuinely supported. My practice is grounded in curiosity, connection, and helping clients better understand themselves and the patterns that shape their relationships, choices, and everyday lives. I work with adults navigating transitions, relationships, identity, stress, and the parts of life that can feel difficult to make sense of on your own.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is an opportunity to slow down and talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been weighing on you, and what you hope will be different. We’ll begin getting to know each other and identifying what may be most helpful to focus on. You don’t need to prepare the “right” things to say. I’ll help guide the conversation and make space for you to be yourself.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring curiosity, warmth, thoughtful perspective, and a genuine interest in understanding the whole person.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adults who are trying to understand themselves more deeply and make meaningful changes in their lives. They may be navigating relationship challenges, major life transitions, stress, questions about identity, or patterns that they recognize but have difficulty changing. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Curiosity and a willingness to explore are enough to begin.

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

I use a psychodynamic approach to help you understand the patterns behind how you think, feel, and respond. We’ll explore how past experiences and relationships may be showing up in your life now, so you can better understand yourself and have more choice in how you respond.

Attachment-based

I use an attachment-based approach to explore how your relationships and past experiences have shaped the way you connect with people. We’ll look at patterns around closeness, trust, conflict, and boundaries, and how those patterns may be affecting your relationships today.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I draw from DBT when practical tools would be helpful. We may work on managing strong emotions, communicating more clearly, handling difficult situations, and finding ways to respond that feel more intentional rather than reactive.

Trauma Informed Care

I take a trauma-informed approach by considering how difficult experiences may continue to affect the way you see yourself, relate to others, and respond to situations. We’ll focus on understanding those responses while moving at a pace that feels manageable for you.
