New to Grow
I believe meaningful growth happens through relationships with ourselves, with others, and with the world around us. The therapeutic relationship is the foundation of our work together. My goal is to create a safe, steady, and compassionate space where you can explore your experiences, understand your patterns, and build greater trust in yourself. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and strength-based. I integrate talk therapy, art therapy, and creative expression to support emotional awareness, healing, and personal growth. Together, we may explore attachment patterns, relationship dynamics, boundaries, self-esteem, identity, family relationships, and the experiences that have shaped who you are today.
I believe therapy is something we discover together. I won’t come into our work assuming I know what you need or who you are. Instead, I bring curiosity, warmth, and a willingness to slow down and really get to know you. I’m interested in the relationships and experiences that have shaped how you see yourself and others, and in creating a therapeutic relationship where you can practice trust, vulnerability, boundaries, and being seen. As a Registered Art Therapist, I also bring creativity into the therapy space. Art can offer another way to explore experiences and emotions that may be difficult to put into words. You don’t need to consider yourself an artist, and making art is never required. Sometimes we’ll create, sometimes we’ll talk, and sometimes we’ll simply notice what is happening. My work is grounded in the belief that you already have wisdom, creativity, and strengths within you. My role is to help create the space and relationship where you can reconnect with those parts of yourself, make sense of what you’ve experienced, and explore new ways of relating to yourself and others.
You may be someone who has spent a lot of time caring for others, adapting to what people around you need, or trying to keep the peace. You may find yourself questioning your needs, struggling with boundaries, or feeling disconnected from who you are and what you want. You might be navigating relationship challenges, difficult past experiences, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, family dynamics, identity questions, or a major life transition. Maybe you understand some of your patterns but aren't sure how to change them—or you’re tired of feeling like you have to figure everything out on your own. My work may be a good fit if you’re curious about yourself and open to exploring not only what you’re experiencing, but why. You don’t need to have the right words or know exactly what you need from therapy. Whether we talk, create, reflect, or simply slow down together, therapy can be a place to reconnect with yourself, understand your relationships, and develop greater trust in your own voice. You don’t have to come to therapy knowing exactly where you’re going. We can figure that out together.
I use an attachment-focused lens to understand how our early relationships and experiences can shape the ways we connect with ourselves and others. Together, we can explore patterns that may show up in relationships, communication, boundaries, and how you respond to closeness or conflict. Rather than viewing these patterns as something “wrong” with you, I see them as ways you learned to navigate relationships and feel safe. Therapy can offer a new kind of relationship where you can explore these patterns with curiosity, build trust, and develop new ways of connecting with yourself and with others.
I recognize that our identities, cultures, communities, and lived experiences shape how we understand ourselves and move through the world. I bring curiosity and openness to the ways culture, family, relationships, race, gender, sexuality, socioeconomic background, and other parts of identity may influence your experiences. I don’t assume that one way of healing or relating will work for everyone. Instead, I want to understand what matters to you, honor the experiences that have shaped you, and create space for you to explore your identity and sense of self in ways that feel authentic. Our work together is collaborative, with your experiences and perspectives at the center.
I believe you are the expert on your own experience. My role is not to tell you who you are or what you should do, but to offer a supportive and nonjudgmental space where you can explore what feels meaningful to you. I bring curiosity, compassion, and acceptance to our work together, meeting you where you are and honoring your pace. Together, we can explore your experiences, strengths, needs, and hopes while building greater trust in yourself and your own ability to navigate life.
I believe there is more to your story than the challenges that bring you to therapy. Alongside exploring what feels difficult, we will also notice the strengths, creativity, resilience, and wisdom that have helped you get here. I don’t see you as someone who needs to be fixed. I see therapy as an opportunity to better understand yourself, recognize what is already within you, and build on the parts of yourself that may have been overlooked, lost, or pushed aside. Together, we can explore what helps you feel more grounded, connected, and confident in your ability to navigate life.
