As a Doctor of Social Work and a dual-certified clinician in both DBT (Linehan Board) and CBT (Beck Institute), I am dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s most complex emotional and spiritual challenges. My practice is built on the belief that meaningful change happens when we combine clinical excellence with a clear, values-driven vision for the future. I specialize in supporting parents of children and adolescents who struggle with Emotional Dysregulation and problematic behaviors. I understand the exhaustion and isolation that can come with high-conflict household dynamics. To address this, I developed Family Systems Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (FS-DBT)—a model specifically designed to treat the family as a connected ecosystem, fostering collective growth rather than just individual symptom management. Beyond family dynamics, I provide a safe, structured space for those experiencing faith crises or existential transitions. Whether you are deconstructing long-held beliefs or grappling with a loss of meaning, I help you navigate these "dark nights of the soul" by integrating clinical tools with a deep respect for your personal journey. My goal is to help you rebuild a life that feels authentic and anchored in your core truth. Whether I am working with a couple seeking to repair their bond or a parent striving to de-escalate crisis behaviors, my approach is rooted in "beginning with the end in mind." We will collaborate on a comprehensive, practical plan designed to point you and your family toward your specific goals. I offer specialized individual psychotherapy and real-time phone coaching to ensure skills are applied in the moments they matter most. I am deeply passionate about this work, and I would love the opportunity to support your journey.

I’m warm, solution-focused, and unapologetically authentic. I’ve been told I’m pretty chill, so expect some laughs along the way. I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating a range of life situations and transitions. My practice includes but is not limited to individuals who may be experiencing trauma, exploring identity, or struggling with confidence and motivation, which can show up in various ways such as feelings of overwhelm, stress, sadness, anger, or other intense emotions. Whatever it may be for you, know this, I am going to keep it 100 (honest) with you, and I won't co-sign on things you tell yourself that are not truths. What I am going to do is gently lift up the things you aren't saying, what you’re avoiding, and/or what may not be in your awareness yet. My intention is simple: to support you in navigating whatever is causing you pain, whatever is challenging you or whatever is presenting itself as a barrier. Why? Because, the only way out is to move through. Drawing from community defined, and evidence-based practices, I aim to empower clients to develop resilience, self-love, and meaningful strategies for personal transformation. My approach is collaborative, respectful, and tailored to your individual needs and strengths.

I feel very fortunate to have grown up in the Bay Area, but never truly appreciated it until I left and came back. I attended high school in Marin at the Branson School in Ross. After High School I left for Wheaton College in Massachusetts where I earned a B.A. in Psychology. I moved to Florida where I received my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Prior to earning my Masters in Psychology I spent a number of years working in child and adolescent residential treatment centers in both San Francisco and Orlando, Florida. It was at this time that I fell in love with working with adolescents, adults, and their families. After graduate school, I found myself working for, and soon thereafter managing, an inpatient treatment program for adolescents who had experienced severe trauma. I returned to California for good in 2011 where I started working as the Lead Therapist for the Adolescent Outpatient Program at Fremont Hospital. I opened a part time private practice in 2012 and transitioned to a full time practice in San Francisco in early 2013.

Are you a young person trying to hold it together while juggling school, work, family stuff, on top of new adulting responsibilities and the world feeling like it's on fire? I am a queer 2nd-gen Asian therapist offering space to discuss systems issues like politics, racism, homophobia, and how they impact our mental health. I work from a psychodynamic and relational approach, meaning we collect the pieces of your life story you've taken from past relationships and experiences and examine them, looking for new ways to write your own story. I also integrate skills and strategies to help you manage boundaries and tolerate uncertainty. Most of my experience has been with children and teens at Kaiser Permanente over the last 6 years. I have also worked in research settings with folks experiencing psychosis and college-aged students. At present, I am providing crisis evaluations at a local non-profit in SF in addition to this practice.

Hello, my name is Jennifer, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist. Over the past 17+ years I have predominately worked with children and adolescents and their families. I specialize in working with this population. My goal is not to just treat the child, but also to equip the parents to be able to help their child in the home. My goal is "parent as therapist." While I love my time each week with my client, the parents are the ones doing the real work in the home. As a parent, I know that one of the most difficult feelings is seeing your child struggling and not knowing how to help. My goal is to help the child while also training up the parents to heal the entire family. My preferred methods of treatment are CBT and PCIT as I believe they offer tools to help families quickly and effectively.

Hi! My name is Caitlin and I am looking forward to meeting you. I believe clients are the experts of their own lives, and take a very client-centered approach to my work, focusing on empowerment and self-determination at all times. I believe there are as many ways to heal as there are individuals, and enjoy helping each client find their path towards fulfillment in their unique life. My experience has primarily been in schools and working with gender expansive individuals and families. I have also worked in early childhood programs and have a lot of experience supporting families with children from hard places or who have experienced trauma. I believe all people and families have the potential to thrive, and enjoy finding the right supports to help clients reach their goals. As a neurodivergent, queer, adoptive parent myself, I have lived experience in all of these areas and bring this experience and understanding into the therapy space with me. I show up to every session as my authentic self and hope that that creates space for clients to do the same. I am an adoptive parent myself, so I have lived experience in this area as well.
