Welcome! I'm Eboni Moran, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly a decade of clinical experience across diverse healthcare and mental health settings. I help adults navigate anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, caregiver stress, and the emotional impact of chronic or life-limiting illness. I also have specialized expertise in supporting individuals and families through the emotional journey of organ transplantation. My practice is centered on providing compassionate, personalized care that empowers clients to heal, build resilience, and create meaningful change.
When it comes to the therapeutic experience, my treatment motto is “therapy is a collaborative journey.” In treatment, the client or the patient sets the pace for treatment. As a clinician, we are trained to meet our patienst and clients where they are, currently, and provide services as appropriate. I always use this analogy when introducing how treatment will proceed to clients. I explain to clients that the therapeutic journey is like a road trip. They are in the driver's seat. They are setting the pace. They are deciding the route and the destination. All I do, as their therapist, is hold the GPS, suggest alternative routes when needed, and set the music.

I am a holistic psychotherapist who supports sensitive, empathic women for a variety of reasons. Sometimes it is anxiety that will not settle, worry about a child, a marriage that feels strained, grief, or a body that keeps asking for attention. Sometimes they want a more holistic perspective; may have tried medication and felt blunted by it, no longer feeling much, including joy. Others are struggling with emotion in a way that is new for them, overwhelmed and crying more often, and they need a place that can meet that without rushing them past it. We start with whatever brought you through the door.
Spirituality is welcome here, and it is a central part of how I listen and how I live. For some women a loss opens that door. For others it is a health scare, an emergency, or a season where the life they have been living suddenly feels too small. Sometimes the spiritual questions come later, once the room feels safe enough to tell the truth. I meet you where you are, and I also recognize that most of the women who stay are ready to step into something new, something different than what the people around them tend to talk about or do. I hold this work with honor, respect, reverence, and care for all of life and for all paths.
I am here to hold space for your journey, not to hand you mine. In our sessions we stay grounded in the day you are actually living, the work, the family, the next thing that needs you, and we also leave room for meaning, for soul, and for the questions that sit underneath the symptoms. I would be honored to see whether we are a fit. I offer telehealth in California, Massachusetts, and Arizona.

Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Masters from Brandman University and have been practicing for the past 10 years. I help adults struggling with life stressors coupled with anxiety/depression or other mental health issues to overcome challenges and stressors to improve their overall quality of life. I utilize an approach that is specifically tailored to the clients needs and supports their goals and healing process.
Hi there,
I primarily work in substance use recovery (abstinence and harm reduction) and trauma recovery. I also have specialized training in treating anxiety, depression, and sleep issues/insomnia. My treatment orientation is based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy concepts, however the foundation of my early training was Psychodynamic.
I have been trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, STAIR (Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation), and Seeking Safety for trauma treatment. When treating anxiety, I take a CBT, or exposure approach with skill-building. For depression I utilize CBT concepts, or behavioral activation with skill-building. For sleep issues, I work with the CBT for insomnia treatment model. These are just a few examples of treatment approaches I utilize. I am relational focused, which to me means finding a plan that works best for you, practicing cultural humility and not trying to fit a round peg in a square hole.
I look forward to working with you.

Welcome to Dr. Mitchell’s Safe and Brave Space
I began my career in social services in 1995, working with children, youth, and families often labeled as “at-risk”—many of whom were impacted by substance use, poverty, child abuse, and neglect. Over time, my commitment to equity and justice led me to the field of social work, where I continue to center the person-in-environment perspective and actively support antiracist policies, ideas, and actions.
This work is grounded in an acknowledgment that we live and practice on the stolen lands of Indigenous peoples, and that much of the wealth and infrastructure of this nation was built through the unpaid labor and enduring suffering of enslaved Africans. I honor these histories and their ongoing impact as part of my commitment to justice, healing, and collective liberation.
I am deeply committed to self-awareness and reflective practice, both personally and with those I serve. I walk alongside clients on a healing journey rooted in self-care, resilience, and transformation.
I integrate narrative therapy and other evidence-informed approaches through the lens of intersectionality to remain fully person-centered. My practice pays particular attention to the impacts of trauma and race-based stress on one’s inner world. As appropriate, I incorporate Feminist Theory, Queer Theory, and Liberation Psychology to support healing that honors identity, lived experience, and systemic context.
I welcome all who value peace, healing, and justice to join me in this space—to try, to grow, and to be.
My approach integrates Person-Centered Expressive Arts Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness, DBT, CBT, motivational interviewing, active imagination, systems theory, and solution-focused therapy.
I believe healing involves more than changing thoughts alone. Research on neuroplasticity shows the brain and nervous system can form new pathways throughout life, creating opportunities for meaningful emotional and behavioral change. Therapy can support not only insight, but also emotional regulation, self-compassion, nervous system balance, creativity, and resilience.
I work collaboratively and compassionately, welcoming all parts of you into the therapeutic process. Together, we may explore thoughts, emotions, body awareness, imagination, patterns shaped by past experiences, and practical tools that support lasting growth and healing. You do not need to be “artistic” to benefit from expressive arts therapy.

My career as a classroom teacher, assistant principal and university professor served me well in my current practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I earned my Doctorate in Education/Ed.D. from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. As a university professor, I became the Multiple Subject Program Director, Graduate Reading Director, and Supervisor of Student Teachers with both national and international publications.
I believe healing begins with feeling truly seen, heard, and accepted. My role is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself, explore what you are going through, and move at a pace that feels right for you.
My own life experiences, combined with my education and professional work in social work and mental health, have taught me the importance of meeting each person as an individual. I bring empathy, curiosity, and authenticity to my work, and I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful change.
I work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, ages, and life experiences, including those navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, major life transitions, and relationship or identity-related challenges. I draw on evidence-informed approaches and adapt my work to each person's needs, rather than believing that one approach fits everyone.
Having lived in different countries and being fluent in English, Farsi, and German, I understand how culture, migration, identity, and life experiences can shape the way we see ourselves and the world around us.
Most importantly, I see therapy as a collaborative process. You bring your story and your experience; I bring my professional knowledge, experience, and genuine commitment to supporting you. Together, we can work toward greater understanding, healing, and a life that feels more meaningful to you.
I’ve studied and practiced many methods. I like to be eclectic and work with you with what’s needed to get you back on track and feeling your best. I was a teacher for many years, then went for my masters in social work. Life has many twists and turns. Sometimes we can feel off balance or are suffering from depression or anxiety. We’ve all had our ups and downs and getting back on track and feeling our best is a goal I enjoy helping people achieve to live the life they want. Are your coping skills no longer working? Do you need new ones? Maybe you have some unprocessed traumas that need to be processed so that you can move forward.

I am solution-focused and have a warm teaching style yet lean in closely to the strategies and skills you may be seeking so that your goals are achieved.
I have been a therapist for close to twenty years and have competency, education and experience necessary to accept a variety of cases with varying degrees of complexity.
I am described by many to be warm, empathetic and at times share guidance that may be challenging to hear and with all intent it would be to see a different point of view for the greater good.
Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel seen, supported, and able to show up as you are. I bring warmth, compassion, and genuine respect for each person’s story, while helping clients work toward greater clarity, healing, and growth. My approach is collaborative and personalized, with care that honors your experiences, values, and the unique path that has shaped who you are.
