I have the utmost respect for those who seek help through therapy. Therefore, my therapeutic approach is a collaborative one, based on the belief you have the answers you need within yourself. It is my job to help you get to those answers. In essence, you are the explorer, I am the sherpa, guiding, encouraging and supporting you through new awarenesses, discoveries and personal growth. I welcome the opportunity to be creative in my work and often integrate several therapeutic techniques and modalities in the same session, depending on the client's needs and disposition. I have been a Licensed Marriage andFamily Therapist since 2003 in the state of California, and have specialties in mind/body/mindfulness work, spirituality, art therapy, drama therapy and cognitive/behavioral. In my private practice as well as in clinical settings I have worked with dual-diagnosed clients, couples, individuals, groups and families. Because of my own life experience, I particularly appreciate working with the aging community, and with artistic personalities, people in life transition, or those addressing issues of long-term illness or depression. These are crazy times, and I am here to help however I can! Mahalo! You want to change your feelings, thoughts, or behaviors, but every time you try, it blows up in your face. (Not literally...hopefully.) How do you get unstuck?! The most important factor is the relationship with your therapist. My main focus is teaming up with you - not telling you what to do - in figuring out how to help you create new patterns. My practice mostly revolves around increasing your awareness of what’s happening in your mind and your body – and above all, respecting your experience. My approach focuses on mindfulness, DBT-informed strategies, and post-traumatic growth. This takes work, but with the help of someone you trust, you absolutely can change the structure of your brain! As much as I may be in the most privileged of demographics (see photo), I’ve taken a lifetime’s worth of feeling inferior and deployed it for good: Being able to empathize with you, the client. I've worked extensively with anger, grief, substance use, LGBTQ+-related issues, insomnia, racial identity, relationship issues, sports performance, etc. I have an easygoing way of communicating with clients. My communication style definitely doesn't have that solemn, overly serious tone that you might see depicted in movie therapists. Just to forewarn: My sessions can and will include some (very lame) jokes here and there, but that does not mean I don't take your struggle seriously.

I am originally from Los Angeles and moved to Amherst Massachusetts to study photojournalism at Hampshire College. While I appreciated that pictures tell their own stories, I felt pulled to linger within the ongoing experiences of the folks I captured on film. Obtaining my graduate degree in psychodynamic therapy from Smith College confirmed the importance and complexities of witnessing people beyond just a moment in time.

I believe the main goal of therapy is to remove the obstacles and blockages that preclude us from being genuine. My approach is straightforward yet compassionate. As your therapist, I simply hold the mirror up and allow you to reveal the parts of yourself that have broken off over the years as a result of stress, trauma, depression, anxiety, and other unresolved issues. Together we mitigate the impact of maladaptive behaviors and search for answers that are more closely aligned with your goals. The answers to many of life’s problems are internal, but we have been conditioned otherwise. I have over 20 years’ experience treating mental health and addiction issues. I use a solution focus that incorporates a wide variety of modalities tapered to your needs. I treat many issues including family of origin, addiction, primary mental health, couples, trauma, and more. I am an EMDR trained therapist, and I help clients to process painful experiences that disrupt your life and well-being. I am hesitant to ascribe to any one therapeutic orientation. Everybody is different. I combine breathwork, meditation, ACT, CBT, as well existentialism and spirituality. I look forward to working with you on your path to wellness

I hear you. You've been going through the motions, avoiding pain, sometimes barely hanging on, and trying to live a "normal," happy life. But, repeating invisible patterns or your past keeps creeping up and interrupts your hopes and goals, negatively impacts your day to day life, and creates relationship struggles. A childhood trauma might be coming up or a more recent stressful or traumatic event, or maybe something you might not describe as traumatic is inserting itself into your well being. Either way, your life isn't going the way you want it to. I can help you heal from the past and move beyond the experiences that are wreaking havoc on you, so that you can have the life and future that you want and deserve. Reaching out to a therapist can feel scary, embarrassing, even shameful, but you're tired of not living. You are ready to move forward, beyond the pain, sadness, fear, and difficulty that has been in your life so far. It's time to reach out.

It never ceases to amaze me just how often I have to try to convince others that they are worthy SIMPLY because they exist. This includes you! I want to know who communicated to you that you are not enough and why you value the opinion of said person(s); these types of harmful beliefs are learned, not innate. Let's unlearn them together. Most of my early clinical work has been with children and adolescents with focus on Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, trauma and various behavioral and emotional issues. I have worked in high-intensity and high-crisis environments from school to hospital settings. I am passionate about working with and creating a safe space for folks who belong to BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. I understand that belonging to a marginalized/oppressed group can result in barriers to achieving and maintaining optimal mental health. I am a cis/het woman doing my best to provide care that is equitable and gender-affirming. I'm always learning and growing as an ally; you will always be safe here. I am also always looking at things through a trauma-informed lens. I'm a busy working parent who understands how hard it can be to do it all. I am currently pursuing a certification in treating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders to be able to better support soon-to-be and new parents; this particular journey is no joke! I am certified in treating perinatal mental health disorders (PMH-C) My website: https://kayla-rhodes.clientsecure.me/

I'm a family man with daughter and a son on the way so I am very passionate about family systems. My own family was a bit messy as a child and I have tried to do my best to turn those hardships into something positive. In my practice I hold this as a major philosophy, focusing on "post traumatic growth." I encourage a very holistic approach to therapy combining traditional cognitive focused talk therapy with exploration of implicit and subconscious feelings as well as incorporating in mind/body awareness and taking account of external contributors. I am a proud all-inclusive and neurodivergent therapist that has 1000s of hours working with struggling kids, survivors of trauma, the LGBTQIA+ community, neurodivergent individuals, and many other underserved populations. I primarily help underserved populations with managing trauma and rebuilding connection with the understanding that negative experiences persist within the nervous system and impact how we see ourselves. I strive to help connect you back to yourself with a focus on self understanding, acceptance, and empowerment rather than a more clinical focus of trying to "fix" or "cure" an illness.

Hey there! Maybe you're here because life hasn't been feeling quite right lately. Maybe you're dealing with anxiety or depression. Maybe you've been feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of what you want anymore. From the outside, things might look fine, but inside, you're wondering, Is this really how I want to keep living? I've always believed that you don't have to have everything figured out before you reach out for help. And therapy isn't about me giving you all the answers. It's about creating a space where we can slow things down, make sense of what's happening, and figure out what comes next. I work primarily with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, life transitions, and that feeling of being lost or stuck. Our sessions aren't meant to be you sitting quietly while I ask you question after question. I like therapy to be engaging, practical, and collaborative. Bring a pen and notebook. We'll talk, reflect, feel, make connections, and come up with things you can actually try between sessions. My approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, insight-oriented and solution-focused therapy. I also have EMDR therapy training and am a Certified Breath Coach, giving us different ways to work depending on what you need. You don't need to arrive with everything figured out. We can start from wherever you are.

My name is Christina Wong, Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California since 2007. I am bicultural, and fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. My first job as a social worker was working in a group home for children and youth in Hong Kong. Providing family therapy with troubled teens and their families remained the primary focus of my practice for more than a decade. I also worked with adults of all ages, from young adults to geriatrics. I am humbled to witness the positive impact brought to my clients when a renewed sense of self is obtained, and the innate abilities to solve problems is fostered. This fuels me to dedicate myself to this work for many more years to come. I use an eclectic, person-centered and humanistic approach to meet the clients where they are. I enjoy working with adults of all ages. Of particular interest are immigrants or children of immigrant families to the United States.

I first and foremost adapt my style of therapy to meet your needs. We work together to identify what best supports you toward your goals or areas of focus in therapy. Some clients progress through insight and understanding about an issue while others progress through tangible present-moment skills and tools, all of which I can provide support you with. I also feel that Identity (race, gender, sexual orientation, etc) plays an important role about how we experience the world and how the world views us and I incorporate this into therapy. I see therapy as an equal and collaborative effort between us. I offer a broad range of personal experiences and clinical background to therapy. I enjoy working with people of color and I identify strongly with them. I have extensive experience working with couples, mixed race individuals, inter-racial relationships, the LGBTQQI community, and athletes. I believe I have a great feel for supporting you to be comfortable entering into therapy. Finding a balance of acceptance of you and where you are at in your life while also supporting you with the change you want to make. I offer inquisitive questions to inspire critical thought with tangible actions and tools that you can use.

I believe therapy should be a place where you can come as you are and feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. As a first-generation Asian American and Christian therapist, I understand how faith, culture, family expectations, relationships, and life experiences can shape who we are and how we see ourselves. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and over 13 years of experience working with children and families. My approach is warm, genuine, compassionate, and down-to-earth, thoughtfully integrating evidence-based therapy with faith and spirituality when desired. I have a special heart for supporting young adults, couples, families, parents, and older adults navigating life transitions, relationships, family conflict, motherhood and postpartum adjustment, parenting, grief and loss, self-esteem, cultural pressures, and personal growth. I believe healing often begins by renewing the way we see ourselves, our circumstances, and what is possible for our future. Our hardest seasons do not have to define us; they can become part of a story of growth, healing, and transformation. It would be an honor to walk alongside you as you move toward renewed hope and meaningful change.

Hi, I’m Kelly Castillo, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). With 15 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals navigate some of life’s most painful and transformative moments. Many of the people I work with come to therapy carrying the weight of childhood trauma, grief and loss, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, or major life transitions. Others feel stuck—uncertain about what’s next or how to move forward. Wherever you find yourself, you deserve a space where your experiences are validated and your healing is supported. My mission is to help you reconnect with your strengths, rediscover your voice, and move toward the best version of yourself. Therapy can be a powerful pathway to insight, relief, and growth—a place where you don’t need to have everything figured out. Instead, it offers room to explore, question, heal, and gradually build the life you want with guidance and support. I offer an honest, compassionate, and relatable approach to therapy. My goal is to create a safe, grounded environment where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and empowered. I tailor each session to your individual needs and goals, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with integrative, client-centered approaches. This flexibility allows me to meet you where you are and support you as you move toward where you want to be. Through my work in diverse clinical settings, I’ve learned that no two healing journeys are alike. Your story is uniquely your own—and your therapy should reflect that. I’m committed to walking alongside you, at your pace, using strategies that align with your values, strengths, and lived experience. Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but together, we’ll navigate challenges, uncover your resilience, and build tools that foster clarity, confidence, and peace. I’m honored to support you in whatever comes next.

I like to make sure that my clients can develop a sense of trust when working with me. I love working with young adults (18-25) and also people going through retirement life changes. Some of the topics I enjoy helping clients with career counseling and coaching, personal relationships, self-concept and self-esteem, healing from abuse, and working with and fully supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. I also love working with people to strengthen their own personal boundaries in life. *Please note that any requests for additional administrative services like letters to courts of law, disability certification, fitness to return to work or other activities and special accommodations related to a psychological condition will need to be cleared with this therapist ahead of starting work together or will have to be provided by another mental health provider. Please consult this therapist first to see if she's able to provide this documentation for you as some may not be possible due to training and specialization requirements.

Hi, I'm Cheri, a licensed marriage and family therapist in California. If you're stuck in a loop of intrusive thoughts, checking, or needing to feel certain, I know how exhausting that can be, and I help teens and adults find their way out of it. The approach I use most is called Exposure and Response Prevention, or ERP. In everyday terms, we take small, manageable steps toward the things that scare you, without giving in to the urge to check or seek reassurance, so anxiety gradually loses its grip. I also draw on CBT, ACT, and mindfulness to help you feel steadier along the way. Together, we'll build your comfort with uncertainty so you can spend less time managing fear and more time living the way you want to. Therapy with me is collaborative and practical, and we'll move at a pace that feels right for you.

Hello and welcome. First of all, I would like to congratulate you on your courage to take the first step in selecting a therapist. The thought of sharing intimate thoughts, struggles, and personal experiences can be overwhelming and frightening. I hope to help you feel confident that you have come to the right place to express your needs and work on feeling better. I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) from California. I have over 12 years experience in providing services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, trauma, and other challenges. I have had the pleasure of working in various settings. For about seven years, I worked at a community mental health agency treating children, adolescents, adults, and families with a variety of needs especially those who have experienced trauma. I have found that each individual comes with their unique story and background. My first experience using telehealth was during the pandemic. With the increase of mental health needs, I discovered the importance of being able to provide services through the telehealth platform. It inspired me to continue to reach those clients who desire telehealth for various reasons. Life can be busy with schedules and finding time for therapy is not always easy. Telehealth can make therapy a little easier.
