Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

As a strong advocate for earning trust, I approach our initial conversations with a deep desire to truly understand you! Anticipate a safe haven, devoid of judgment, where you'll find a compassionate listener ready to hear and support you every step of the way.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My compassionate spirit is often hailed as my greatest asset. Life's challenges are plentiful, and the last thing you need is judgment. That's why in my practice, extending compassion and empathy is essential. I'll push you to grow, but always with a gentle touch, rooted in kindness and love.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals who are ready to do the work—those with a strong sense of self-determination and a willingness to actively engage in their healing journey. They understand that therapy isn’t a quick fix, but a process that takes time, patience, and consistency. At the same time, they bring a level of self-compassion, recognizing that their past does not define them, but instead offers insight and opportunities for growth. They are open to learning, evolving, and improving how they show up in their lives and relationships

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns to help them develop healthier ways of thinking. This involves setting goals, help one to recognize cognitive distortions, and implement behavioral modification techniques to promote lasting change.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

With Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I help clients develop skills in four key areas: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. This involves teaching practical techniques, such as mindfulness exercises and emotion regulation strategies, while balancing acceptance and change-oriented approaches. This allows clients to "radically accept" their circumstances and learn to cope with any challenge life may throw their way.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use Solution Focused Treatment, to help client's focus on their strengths and goals, by assisting them in envision their desired future and identify goals that can help them reach their desired outcomes. Sessions are brief, emphasizing progress and practical solutions rather than dwelling on life's challenges. Together I can help you achieve your desired life by helping you create small achievable goals.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard, evidence-based treatment for OCD, to help clients break the cycle of obsessions and compulsions. ERP works by gradually exposing individuals to feared thoughts, images, or situations while supporting them in resisting compulsive behaviors, allowing anxiety to naturally decrease over time. I have received specialized training in ERP through NOCD, a leading provider of OCD treatment, equipping me with the tools to deliver structured, effective care. Using this approach, I guide clients through a personalized treatment process designed to build resilience and confidence in managing their symptoms. Clients I work with often experience up to a 35% reduction in OCD symptoms within 90 days of consistent ERP treatment.
