Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) practicing in California. I have over 18 years of experience. I enjoy helping individuals from various cultures and, in particular, those who are monolingual Spanish-speaking. Additionally, I am passionate about helping people struggling with immigration and racial disparities and adults who are motivated to change. I help people become more aware of themselves, how the body communicates struggles, and with gaining their power back!
In our first session, we will introduce ourselves, you will describe the struggles that you've been experiencing that get you to seek services today, and will begin to formulate a plan for treatment. You'll leave with a lot of information as part of the informed consent.
Having extensive experience in various settings has allowed me to use different approaches if some thing does not work. I can help you to identify the root cause of problems/struggles and aid with creating a plan that focuses on measurable goals.
I love working with adults who are motivated to change, may be struggling with transitions in their lives, and those who are seeking guidance, support, and tools to improve their overall mental health.

CBT is a staple in providing mental health treatment using various CBT techniques.
Sometimes clients do not know that they have the capacity and drive within them and that they may already be taking steps towards change.
I am trained in treating trauma and the first phase/step is to establish a consistent practice for self-care, grounding techniques, feelings of being safe in ones body before processing.
