Hi there! I'm Ylissa Aquino, LCSW. I got my Psychology BA from Pitzer College and my MSW from Loma Linda University. I firmly believe everyone is unique and knows their life best. My specialty is supporting young professionals and students in managing work life balance, conquering burnout, role strain, and stress management. Together, we work towards helping you become the best version of yourself.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Your first therapy session is about getting to know each other and understanding what brings you to therapy. I’ll also be reviewing paperwork and the expectations of therapy. I will ask questions about your background, family, and current challenges. I’ll want to understand what you hope to achieve through therapy and any specific goals you have. You'll also have the chance to ask questions about my approach and what to expect in future sessions. It's normal to feel a mix of emotions, such as nervousness or relief, but remember that I’m here to support you.

I've had experience in working with young students and professionals .I have used reliable strategies in identifying the issues you face, and crafting a customized roadmap to help guide you and reach your goals.
