(he/him)
I love working with young professionals struggling with burnout, compassion fatigue, and impostor syndrome. I assist individuals in overcoming anxiety, depression, and addictions tied to childhood or adult trauma. While therapy can be challenging, it can also be a fun and creative journey. I work best with clients who have a growth mind set and are not afraid to try new things. I am open minded and love to help people from from diverse backgrounds.
The first session is meant to be a time of getting acquainted and establishing a solid, trusting relationship where you will hopefully feel safe to share deeply.
I am open minded, kind, warm and empathetic towards others. I believe that all people need love and respect and I strive to provide these qualities to all of my clients regardless of age, gender, sexuality or faith.
If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, addictions or traumatic memories that have put you in a rut or given you a pattern of negative self talk then I want to work with you using a variety of tools that are well researched and effective such as talk therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).
EMDR
I am trained in EMDR therapy and use it to help clients process trauma, chronic stress, and experiences that continue to feel “stuck” in the nervous system. I approach EMDR thoughtfully and at a pace that feels safe and collaborative, integrating it into a strong therapeutic relationship rather than using it as a one-size-fits-all technique. I’m passionate about EMDR because I’ve seen how it can help people move through painful experiences with less overwhelm and more clarity, allowing them to feel more grounded, resilient, and present in their lives.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I often use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my work. ACT helps people learn how to live well even when difficult thoughts, emotions, or physical symptoms are present. Rather than focusing on “getting rid of” discomfort, we work on increasing flexibility—staying present, clarifying what matters most, and taking meaningful steps aligned with your values. My goal is to help you engage more fully in your life, even during seasons of stress, transition, or uncertainty.
