Hi! Are you struggling with life transitions, feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or sad? Are you entering a new stage in your life and finding it harder than expected to cope? I have been licensed as a Clinical Social Worker since 2007 and have worked in a variety of therapeutic settings with adults of all ages and a variety of backgrounds. I have supported individuals transitioning to new stages in their lives, including adulthood, retirement, newly diagnosed medical conditions, postpartum anxiety and/or depression, foster/adoptive families, and family caregivers. I am here to support you, holding space for you in a non-judgmental and compassionate way. We will work together to build upon your existing strengths, support you in learning new techniques and identify new tools to help you feel empowered to make positive changes in your life. As a therapist, I love the unique opportunity to learn about the lives and experiences of those I serve and to help them navigate challenges and obstacles to reach their personal goals. I aim to create a safe space for you to share and heal. I use empathy, humor, warmth and compassion to create a comfortable environment for growth and healing. I look forward to working with you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, I will spend some time getting to know what is bringing you to therapy, learning more about your background, including your strengths. We will spend some time setting goals and planning for next sessions.

I have extensive work experience with older adults and adults transitioning into adulthood. Another specialty of mine is reproductive health, supporting women by providing a safe space for them to share thoughts/feelings freely and without judgment.
