LCSW, 4 years of experience
New to Grow
As a trauma-informed therapist, I specialize in supporting adults, teens, LGBTQ+ and BIPOC individuals with overcoming stress, anxiety, burnout, life transitions and trauma, by finding tools and solutions towards becoming the best version of themselves. I tend to use a variety of client-centered approach’s such as Solution-Focused, EMDR, IFS, and CBT to support you with identifying and processing your past and how it impacts your today. Through self-compassion and reflective work, I help clients reconnect with their inner strength and reclaim their stories. Together, we work toward healing that honors your identity, resilience, and truth.
In our first session, I'll help you identify unhelpful thought patterns and habits that may be holding you back in some way. I use compassion and empathy to help you feel welcome and supported as you take the next step in your journey. Together, we will work to come up with realistic goals for the next few months to help you feel inspired and motivated for change. I believe in being authentic and encourage you to come as you are.
I have over 10 years experience working with a variety of people in various stages of life, with marginalized communities in different capacities, working to provide safe spaces and overcoming obstacles that have impacted their quality of life. Over that time, I have learned not just from my peers but also my clients, and bring that knowledge into each session. Every persons story and journey is different, I will work with you to gain skills that you need to continue on your own path in life.
My clients tend to be people who are ready for a change but are unsure what steps to take to get there. I tend to use a variety of tools and modalities working with individuals who often feel lost, stuck, overwhelmed, and confused in life and are ready to process their past to make changes for their future.
I use IFS to help client identify different parts of themselves that have developed into protectors that then help after being hurt one too many times.
