Hi there — I’m Madison (Gabriel) Long, LCMHC, NCC, a licensed therapist based in North Carolina and South Carolina, and I’m passionate about helping people move from feeling stuck into genuinely living. My training includes trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT), child-centered play therapy (CCPT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR), and I’m currently pursuing certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C).
Whether you’re navigating the unique emotional terrain of pregnancy or postpartum, healing from past trauma, or managing the ever-changing demands of parenting and family life, I’m here with you — through the ups, downs, and in-between. I offer virtual therapy so you can meet with me from wherever you are in NC, right when it works for you.
I do this work because I believe growth happens when we feel safe enough to face what we’ve been avoiding, and strong enough to embrace the next step. Not only have I been where many of you are, I’ve also had the privilege to see clients emerge from seasons of pain, parenting chaos, trauma’s shadow, and come into more grounded, more resilient selves — and it is an honor to be part of that process.
If you’re ready to start feeling grounded, nourished, and confident again — I’d be honored to walk beside you.

Maybe you’re the person everyone counts on, the one who handles things, keeps going, and appears to have it all together. But underneath that, you may be anxious, emotionally exhausted, constantly overthinking, or struggling in relationships. You may find yourself people-pleasing, feeling guilty for saying no, putting everyone else’s needs before your own, or wondering why the same patterns keep showing up even when you know you want something different.
I work with adults who want to understand where these patterns come from and begin changing them. Often, our work explores how family dynamics, childhood experiences, and past relationships have shaped the way you view yourself, manage emotions, set boundaries, and connect with others. This isn’t about blaming the past. It’s about understanding what you learned to do to cope or feel connected and deciding what still serves you today.
For some clients, these patterns become even more noticeable after becoming a parent. Parenthood can bring up unexpected emotions about your own childhood, your relationship with your parents, and what you want to carry forward or intentionally do differently with your own family.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional (PMH-C), and EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist. My approach is warm, collaborative, and genuine, with a focus on helping you understand yourself more deeply, heal from experiences you may still be carrying, and create healthier patterns in your relationship with yourself and others.
I am licensed in Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina with 4 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, coping with grief, coping with loss, & depression. I also have experience working with coping with life changes. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

Hello
I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida, a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Indiana and licensed professional counselor in the state of South Carolina. I received my master’s in psychology and mental health counseling from Marist College in Poughkeepsie. NY. I have been practicing for 20 years. I work with clients ages 13 and above helping to manage trauma as well as other stressors from life and teach coping skills to not just manage symptoms but live the best version of the clients self.
Life can feel overwhelming when you’re trying to manage your emotions, relationships, work, family expectations, and everything else at the same time. You may look like you have it all together on the outside while internally feeling anxious, exhausted, disconnected, or unsure of what comes next.
I’m Yilian Herrera, a licensed mental health professional who provides a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, understand what you’re experiencing, and begin making meaningful changes.
I work with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD-related challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship concerns, low self-worth, burnout, and major life transitions. I especially enjoy working with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or like they have spent a long time putting everyone else’s needs before their own.
Hi, I’m Marie — a therapist who believes that change is always possible, no matter where you are in life. My goal is to help you feel better emotionally, think more clearly, and move toward a future that feels fulfilling and peaceful.
In our sessions, we’ll work together to understand what’s been holding you back and find practical ways to move forward. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you notice how your thoughts affect your emotions and actions—and teach you tools to shift negative thinking. I also use a solution-focused approach, which means we’ll focus on your strengths, celebrate what’s working, and create small, realistic steps that bring real progress.
I often work with adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, or major life changes—like adjusting after a loss, a new diagnosis, or changes that come with getting older. My approach is supportive and empowering. I want you to feel heard, encouraged, and equipped with the tools to handle life’s challenges with more confidence and hope. As an immigrant and a bilingual therapist speaking both English and French, I understand the importance of culture, identity, and belonging. This lived experience allows me to better connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and support them through challenges related to identity, adjustment, and navigating different cultural expectations. My background helps me approach therapy with openness, cultural sensitivity, and a deep belief in the resilience of the human spirit.
As a therapist, my primary goal is to provide a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment where individuals can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I understand that seeking therapy can be a courageous step towards personal growth and healing, and I am dedicated to assisting my clients on their journey towards improved mental and emotional well-being. I have 10 year's experience working with individuals struggling with mental health, substance abuse, career and lifestyle changes, professional development and consultation.
Whether you're facing specific issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or simply seeking personal growth and self-discovery, I am here to provide guidance, support, and the tools you need to lead a more fulfilling life. I am trained in DBT, CBT and trauma informed care.
My name is Tim Johnston and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Texas. I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. I worked years in a community mental health setting and now private practice. My specialties are anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, mens issues, and grief and loss. I provide different research based strategies which include cognitive behavioral therapies, psychodynamic, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. Christian counseling is also offered. These are the different 'roadmaps' that will help us get you to a place of healing, freedom, and peace of mind.
My ideal client is someone who recognizes that life presents with many challenges and understands that receiving help is not a sign of weakness, rather it is strength. Those life challenges maybe due to stress, health issues, family conflicts, or something more, but they are looking to identify, process, and gain needed support and skills to conquer those challenges. They are looking for someone who will encourage them, keep them accountable, and be open and honest with them.
I feel that therapy is more than an occupation for me, rather it is a calling. I will be a listening ear, support, encourager, and support for my clients. I believe that encouraging is a gift which I possess and freely give, and when my clients are going through some of their toughest battles, understanding that they are not alone really matters.
There are many different providers who are looking to support and help clients, which is good, because finding the right provider absolutely makes a difference. I want to be a support, sounding board, and ally to work through crisis, challenges, and even give a different perspective. Life is hard, but finding the right provider should not be.

Welcome! I’m Jalisia, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a passion for helping people navigate life’s most difficult moments. If you’ve asked yourself this question, “Why does life feel like it’s one thing after another?” You might be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or drained. Maybe your self-esteem has taken a hit, and motivation feels hard to find. Life can throw curveballs, and when it does, it’s okay to need support. Seeking help isn’t a sign of weakness, it’s an act of courage and self-care. With the right guidance, you can come out stronger, more balanced, and more confident. My approach is person-centered, meaning you are in control of your healing journey. I offer a supportive, non-judgmental environment where you can safely explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Together, we’ll work toward clarity, self-awareness, and emotional growth, empowering you to make the changes you desire.
Welcome! If you are seeking a down to earth and relaxed therapist- you are in the right place! I specialize in creating a safe and affirming space for individuals within the LGBTQ+ communities- where I have lived experience, any individuals navigating chronic illness and caregiving, and folks impacted by hoarding behaviors. I understand how important it is to feel heard and validated, especially when dealing with sensitive topics such as anxiety, chronic disorganization, gender identity, transgender health, trauma, depression, boundary setting, communication skills, and more. I write letters of support for gender affirming care.
I received my master’s degree in social work from University of South Carolina. My post-graduate work focuses predominately on child welfare, specifically working with young children, young adolescents, and their families who have experienced trauma within their home. I also have considerable experience working with numerous populations such as victims of domestic violence, mental illness, substance abuse, homelessness, and those who are developmentally disabled. I use a number of different therapeutic approaches when working with clients, focusing mainly on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Is your worrying, depression, or anger taking over your life? Is the loss of a loved one too painful to cope? Are you trying to find a solution to a damaged marriage or relationship? Is it difficult to stay calm and composed when angry? Seeing a professional is one of the best decisions you can ever make for yourself. I'm not here to issue judgement, but to focus on getting you back to a happier and more fulfilled life. I can help you cope but I can also help you conquer the overwhelming stressors in your life.
My job is simple. It's to help you get back to living your BEST life. I understand that anger, depression, anxiety, grief, and broken relationships can derail even the strongest person. It's not easy, but it's possible!
My current practice is an extension of my work in Toronto, Memphis, Cincinnati, and New York. Since 1999 I have worked with individuals, couples, children and families, suffering from depression, anxiety, anger, grief, shame, and trauma. Let's get you back to living your best life.
Hi! My name is Kiara and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Virginia. I have about 8 years of experience working with a variety of populations but I especially like working with youth and young adults. My experience is primarily in community mental health, so I’m all about coordinating care with other professionals to address the whole person. My favorite part about being a therapist is uncovering the light at the end of the tunnel along with my clients, and assuring them that there’s always hope.
I’m Stephanie, a warm, honest therapist with 11 years of experience. I help teens and adults with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationships, stress, substance use, and food or body concerns. I meet you where you are, listen without judgment, build on your strengths, and shape therapy around your needs, goals, comfort, values, and pace. Together, we’ll create practical steps toward lasting and meaningful change.
I could list my degrees (MSW from USC), my credentials (LCSW, CFTP) and my experience (10 years of individual and couples therapy). Most of all I am a mom, a sister, a grandmom and a retired veteran. I understand life from many intersections. I know the stigma of seeing a mental health professional, but I also know that most of people that are in therapy seek treatment because they have to deal with people that refuse to seek treatment for themselves. I create a safe space to process what you have experienced, what you want to change, and what are your barriers to success.
As a licensed clinical social worker, I am committed to collecting evidenced based "tools for my toolbox" to aid those grappling with finding the new normal after their world has shifted. I most love helping people find language to describe their losses, often when there has been difficulty finding the words, inspiring people to find hope again, and facilitate the development of a plan to move forward in a way that both honors their experiences and embraces the future.
I take an action-oriented, collaborative approach to therapy. I utilize a combination of psychoeducation, storytelling, and evidenced-based interventions to offer meaningful insight to support clients’ healing. I strongly believe that rock bottom is the foundation upon which we can rebuild our lives. We do regular check-ins to review progress along the way. Our goal is not to change the past, but instead to find some relief from symptoms that impact daily functioning. I will solicit feedback regularly during sessions for takeaways to gauge progress and curate treatment interventions based on what is most engaging and productive for the individual client.
I am an experienced and dedicated professional with a rich history spanning over three decades in counseling, education, professional services, and human advocacy. With a robust background, I have accumulated over two decades of successful supervision, five years of specialized McKinney-Vento Act implementation, and a strong aptitude for managing intricate projects while promoting collaboration. My skill set encompasses adept writing, organizational prowess, effective communication, and expertise in counseling and program development.
My true passion lies in addressing the multifaceted challenges that families, adults, children, and youth encounter, especially in the realms of poverty, homelessness, substance-related issues, incarceration, and other life difficulties. Throughout my career, I've established a proven track record of forging robust partnerships and making a lasting impact. If you’re dealing with overwhelming anxiety, ongoing sadness, or feelings of self-doubt, know that you’re not alone. Many people reach moments where moving forward can feel difficult or draining. Therapy offers a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to explore what may be getting in your way and to gain a deeper understanding of your emotions. Together, we’ll focus on building self-awareness, finding relief, and fostering self-acceptance, while working toward meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience in mental health and social services. I am a wife, mother of three, daughter and sister who enjoys crafting, gardening, and spending time at the beach.
I bring curiosity, compassion, and just the right dose of humor to help you feel comfortable being your full, authentic self.
My goal is to help you understand your inner world, quiet the inner critic, and build real-life strategies for navigating the chaos. I believe therapy should feel like a safe space where you can exhale, reflect, and build skills to better navigate your day-to-day life. Whether you're juggling work, school, parenting, relationships, or just trying to hold it together—I’m here to help.
