I am an highly experienced doctoral-level provider with an Ohio license for clinical psychology. I have been practicing in numerous settings throughout my long career, including working in institutions and in private practice. I am used to effectively treating the vast majority of individuals who walk through my door, giving me a wide-ranging skillset.
I am a goal-oriented therapist, and I know that people who are coming to me are often in noteworthy distress, and it is my duty as your doctor to alleviate this distress. Working collaboratively is important, and knowing your goals for therapy is of utmost importance. My standards for myself for you is high; every person will get treatment plan, which is the active steps to alleviate the ailment. I will communicate my diagnosis and the treatment plan I am planning, and will only proceed with your endorsement of the plan. If you come to me with a specific diagnosis, and you do therapy with me and these conditions aren't being alleviated, then we are not meeting the objectives of therapy. If progress does not occur, then efforts will be made to try to discover why progress isn't occurring. Should you still not progress on your goals and diagnosis, I will be open to finding you a provider who might help.
Having been a generalist provider, my best skills are for those that present the most in the population, including depression disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders and trauma. I employ prolonged exposure as my technique for helping traumatized people, and this would be an excellent treatment for individuals who are new to trauma processing or have failed at EMDR.
Hello, I am Nancy DiStefano a mastered prepared, licensed independent social worker with over 35 years experience. I have experience in therapy with members from age 3-83. I am here to help you find peace in your life and reach whatever goals you choose to reach. I have been doing online tele-health since 2012. I specialize in CBT and ERP. I am here to help. Let's begin.
Are you worried about your child or family? Maybe you’ve been carrying stress, anxiety, grief, conflict for so long that you barely recognize yourself anymore. You may have spent years trying to stay strong for everyone else while quietly struggling on your own. If so, you are not alone.
I offer a warm and supportive space where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin to make sense of what you’re going through without fear of judgment. With nearly 70 years of experience, I understand how deeply emotional pain, relationship struggles, family stress, loss, and life transitions can affect people.
I have extensive experience working with young people facing challenges such as self-harming behaviors, trauma, addictions, and family conflict.
I have worked successfully with adults navigating substance use concerns, chronic pain and other health difficulties, caregiver burnout, grief, various forms of loss, and major life transitions. I also support individuals struggling with stress, anxiety, emotional exhaustion, and long-standing patterns that keep them disconnected from themselves and others.
In addition, I work with couples facing communication difficulties, separation, infidelity, divorce and other challenges, as well as families dealing with parenting stress, illness, addictions, cultural adaptation, and significant life changes. I am able to support families with young children who are experiencing developmental difficulties, health challenges, or acting-out behaviors and I provide pre-marital counseling for couples who are about to tie the knot. Throughout our work together, I strive to help clients build greater self-awareness, strengthen relationships, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward a greater sense of balance, connection, and emotional well-being.
Clients describe me as warm, accepting, validating, and easy to talk to. My goal is to create a safe and caring space where you feel supported, understood, and less alone as we work together toward healing, and meaningful change.
I provide trauma-informed care to women and men. I want to help clarify whatever it is you want to heal. What is it that you aren't getting from your environment that leads you to overwork, over think, isolate or continue habits you already know don't serve you? To communicate better in your relationships I will use what I’ve learned to help guide you in how to disagree without hurting, highlight what is already working, and uncover the struggles you face to get to the core reasons why we get stuck. I help individuals with ADHD, OCD, and other anxiety disorders. The label doesn't matter as much as you do.

She will focus on a holistic approach by providing community based resources to ensure everyone’s basic needs are met during the therapeutic process.

Hi, I’m Brittany, an LISW in Ohio, wife, and mom of three with a heart for supporting women through the many seasons and transitions of life. I’m especially passionate about women’s and maternal mental health and creating a space where women feel seen, heard, and genuinely supported.
I’m the founder of Selah Maternal Wellness, a virtual private practice where I work with women navigating anxiety, stress, overwhelm, life transitions, relationships, identity, pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, and the everyday challenges that come with carrying so many roles.
While maternal mental health holds a special place in my heart, my work is not limited to motherhood. I welcome women in all stages of life who are looking for a space to slow down, reconnect with themselves, build on their strengths, and create meaningful change.
My approach is warm, collaborative, strengths-based, and focused on meeting you where you are. I also offer Christian counseling and faith-based therapy for women who would like to incorporate their faith into their healing journey, while always honoring each client’s individual beliefs and preferences.
The name Selah reflects much of what I hope to offer through this work—a moment to pause, reflect, breathe, and reconnect. As women, we can spend so much time caring for everyone and everything around us that we forget we need care, too!
Beyond individual therapy, I offer local workshops and group sessions to help women and moms connect, learn, and build supportive community. I’m also currently working toward my PMH-C certification to deepen my ability to support women throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.
Whether through individual therapy, faith-based support, workshops, or groups, my hope is for Selah to be a place where women can pause, feel supported, reconnect with who they are, and know they don’t have to navigate life alone.

Hi, my name is Tara Devlin, and I am the owner of Peace of Mind Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 10 years of clinical experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I believe that positive mental health is fundamental to overall well-being, yet it is often misunderstood or stigmatized. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable being open and honest. I work alongside individuals to develop practical coping skills that help manage stress, anxiety, life transitions, and other emotional struggles, empowering them to feel more confident and in control of their lives.
Welcome! I’m glad you’re here. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where we can work together on the challenges you’re facing. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience, I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, insight, and practical support. At Sunrise Counseling and Wellness, LLC, I provide a warm, collaborative space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. Whether you're struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, or a major life transition, I tailor therapy to your unique needs using evidence-based approaches, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and EMDR-informed techniques as I continue advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
I believe healing begins with intention, presence, and a good dose of courage. When I’m not working with clients, you’ll likely find me hiking through the woods with my two rescue dogs or throwing elbows in a Muay Thai gym. Nature, movement, and mindfulness are my anchors, and I bring that same grounded energy into a therapy session.
Inspired by Viktor Frankl, “A man with a why can endure any how,” I aim to help individuals reconnect with their “why” in a world that often pulls us in every direction but inward. Life is messy, fast, and full of distractions. It’s easy to lose sight of who we are and what we need.
As your therapist, I can do nothing to take away your pain; however, I vow to sit with you to endure it. I promise to do my best to assist you forthrightly, uncovering and fostering lasting resilience. I’ll offer a safe, compassionate space where we can work collaboratively to explore your story, uncover your strengths, and chart a course forward.
The hardest part is getting started, so why not give it a shot? Come sit down, talk with me, and see if we can't get somewhere better than where we started.

If you’re a veteran, a man struggling in a difficult relationship, or an adult who is tired of feeling stuck, you’re not looking for someone to simply listen and nod. You want things to change.
I work especially well with people dealing with anxiety, anger, trauma, depression, relationship problems, low confidence, overthinking, addiction, or major life stress. My approach is practical and straightforward: we look at the thoughts, beliefs, habits, and circumstances keeping you stuck and start challenging them.
I also work with men who feel overwhelmed, unheard, criticized, or uncertain of themselves in important relationships. Maybe you feel like you’re walking on eggshells, questioning yourself, feeling guilty for setting boundaries, or wondering whether you’re the problem. Counseling can help you rebuild confidence, establish healthier boundaries, and make decisions based on your own values rather than fear, guilt, or pressure.
I’ve worked with thousands of clients and learned that people often have more strength than they realize. Sometimes you’ve believed lies about yourself for so long that they became part of who you see yourself to be.
I’m Christian-friendly, but I meet everyone where they are.
I listen closely, ask questions that make you think, challenge perspectives that may be keeping you stuck, and help you find solutions that work in real life. I don’t believe my job is to tell you how to live your life. I want our conversations to help you see your situation more clearly and decide what makes sense for you.
I’m also a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan. I’ll gladly work with Michigan fans, too…but I can’t promise the same level of nonjudgmental neutrality I offer everyone else. :)
Bring your sense of humor into sessions. Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff. We can be real humans in the room together.

I know many people are working to do their best while balancing burnout, anxiety, and the feeling that “the world is on fire.” I work with you to build sustainable changes, and a life that includes not only surviving, but finding moments of joy, confidence, and acceptance of who you are and how your brain works.
I work to make my clients feel supported and heard, and focus on your experiences, thoughts, and feelings. My approach is flexible and collaborative—I tailor each session to your needs by blending CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, acceptance‑based work, and mindfulness strategies. Together, we’ll identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, build present‑moment awareness, and uncover old behaviors that may be interfering in your current life. Clients describe my style as calming, validating, and practical—I offer both insight and actionable tools to help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control of your path forward.

Hello, I'm Sarah. I'm a licensed clinical social worker who works with adults virtually in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. I strive to be easy to talk to, and I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without pressure, judgment, or needing to have everything figured out.
My practice is collaborative, down-to-earth, and centered on what matters most to you. We’ll make room for whatever you’re carrying, whether it’s stress, relationship challenges, big life changes, old patterns that keep showing up, or simply the feeling that something needs to shift. I’ll listen closely, help you make sense of what’s going on, and support you in finding practical ways to move forward.
I want our work to feel real and useful—not overly clinical or one-size-fits-all. Together, we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you, build on your strengths, and create space for more clarity, confidence, and self-trust.
I’m a licensed professional clinical counselor and counselor educator with more than a decade of experience in mental health, supervision, and counselor training. I work primarily with adults navigating stress, grief, identity, relationships, life transitions, burnout, and the effects of difficult past experiences.
My approach is relational, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that counseling should make room for the complexity of real life. I tend to be warm, thoughtful, straightforward, and curious. I’m not the kind of therapist who simply sits back and nods—I ask questions, offer perspective, and work alongside you to better understand patterns, possibilities, and what might actually be helpful.
My practice is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and affirming of LGBTQ+ and other diverse identities and experiences. I especially enjoy working with people who are thoughtful and self-aware but may feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure what comes next. You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to counseling. We can start with where you are.
My practice was born from the understanding that people who struggle often have filled their day to day lives with survival mechanisms: habits, actions, and thoughts that may have helped in the moment but become burdensome over time. The lasting effects of trauma can create an overwhelming sense of self-blame, leaving individuals questioning, "Am I the problem?" or "Did I do something wrong?"
My practice exists to help individuals build a healthier "life worth living". Where pain, fear, sadness, anger, and memories can be honored rather than suppressed. It is a place where healthier coping skills are developed, empowering clients to create lives filled with resilience and meaning.
I am a licensed clinical social worker who has six years of experience and graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a dual degree in Social Work and Nonprofit Organizational Management. Outside of work I love to travel, cook, and craft.
Hi, I’m Rob. I hail from Steubenville, Ohio. Let’s jump right in. Life is hard- we all need a little help and support on the journey. I see myself as walking beside the people with whom I work. Some need to look into the past and process it, receiving a different perspective on it. Some have a specific goal in mind like decreasing anxiety by learning new skills in a short period of time. Others need a listening ear, with some insights sprinkled in. Others still, benefit from clarity and analysis. What do you need? I believe the interpersonal connection between counselor and client can be healing in and of itself. People are ones that hurt us, we're also the ones that heal each other.

I am a licensed professional counselor with a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with experience working on a multitude of concerns including trauma, anxiety, depression, parenting, and couples counseling. I believe in creating a strong, trusting therapeutic environment where people feel comfortable, motivated, and not judged. I use solution-focused techniques to assist in reaching goals and CBT techniques to help with concerns such as negative thought patterns. Every person is different, and you will have your own individualized therapy and plan that is tailored to your needs. I really enjoy helping others explore their own strengths, and I understand that sometimes it can be hard to put things into perspective. Sometimes that outside, non-judgmental assistance is what someone needs to get back on track or on a better track.
Hello, my name is Karen. I am an Independent Psychotherapist in Cincinnati, Ohio. I earned a Masters from the University of Pennsylvania through their advanced standing program in one year with a specialization in Mental Health. Previous to that, I earned a Bachelor’s at Northern Kentucky University and graduated summa cum laude. I place great pride and passion in helping individuals that may be struggling with chronic stress, depression, anxiety, PTSD and complex trauma. My clients have ranged in all backgrounds and I utilize a multi-dimensional approach to the therapeutic process. I have worked with all populations providing integrated services in clinical, outpatient, inpatient, and school settings, as well as with the homeless population. I have also worked with all socio-economic backgrounds, cultures, disabilities, and religious beliefs. I wholeheartedly believe in providing a therapeutic atmosphere that offers a professional yet respectful environment where we can establish and build rapport in a trusting and safe space.
Welcome! I'm so glad you're here and making this decision to try something new. Therapy can truly be a sacred space. It's a place that can absolutely change your life, if you allow your self the time and space to heal. My focus is to see you as uniquely you: the good, the bad, and the sometimes ugly. I believe we all have inherent value and worth, and I strive to see this in every single person, including you! We may have some changes we need to make and some behaviors we have to part ways with, but through this healing journey, I want you to know how valued and loved you are. To embrace life again like we were meant to. To forgive others and learn to let go. To change what you can and find peace with what you can't.
I operate from a trauma-informed perspective - recognizing how the past has changed the way we see ourselves and those around us. I look at how early life experiences impact our relationships, attachments, emotions, motivation, and joy. I incorporate mindfulness to help with regulation and utilize psychoeducation to understand that what happened in the past can't be changed, but we have the ability to pursue healing and growth regardless.
I am self-pay only for couples sessions ($150/session).
As a transpersonal therapist, I view therapy as a holistic healing container, in which I am a fellow traveler on the path to wholeness. My goal is to awaken the knowing that is already alive within you, guiding you to your truest self. I have been on a personal journey of self-discovery and awakening for over a decade through meditation, yoga, practicing massage therapy for 5+ years, deepening an understanding of healing through the body mind spirit connection. I arrived in the field of counseling as a culmination of my personal journey, from a desire to serve others on the path to healing and integration.
I am here to provide a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported without judgment. For more than 20 years, I have helped adults and young people navigate grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and other difficult experiences. I will meet you where you are and offer compassionate support as you move toward healing and meaningful change. I have a special passion for EMDR therapy and am committed to providing skilled care tailored to your needs. I am deeply grateful to be a mental health counselor and it is a privilege to walk alongside you on your journey.
I’m Niamalika Taylor, a Licensed Independent Social Worker inspired by helping individuals recognize the strength and possibilities within themselves. I believe you have the right to make choices that support your happiness, peace, and the life you desire.
I’m committed to helping you better understand your emotions, recognize your strengths, strengthen your voice, and develop practical tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and intention.
What inspires me most is helping individuals recognize that meaningful change can happen step by step, thought by thought, and choice by choice. I want therapy to be more than a place to talk. I want you to leave with tools you can carry throughout life as you continue to create and recreate what happiness, peace, and being able to say “I am okay” mean to you.
Hi, I'm Mary Kastner, a Licensed Independent Social Worker with 40 years of experience helping children, adults, and families navigate life's challenges. My approach is personalized to each individual and focuses on helping clients recognize their strengths, heal from difficult experiences, and move toward the life they want to create.

I am a compassionate and experienced Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC-S) with over 20 years of experience and dual credentials in mental health and substance abuse treatment in Ohio. I support adults navigating challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, relationship struggles, grief, and low motivation—helping clients feel safer, more grounded, and capable of change. My approach is collaborative and practical, offering both emotional support and evidence-based strategies to empower clients as they work toward meaningful, lasting growth.
I was drawn to this work by my beloved family member, who lived her life with a mental illness. Watching her courage taught me early on that healing happens in relationships—when we feel seen, safe, and supported. Outside the office, you’ll find me experimenting in the kitchen, planning my next travel adventure, or getting some fresh air and exercise. These keep me grounded and curious—qualities I bring to our work.
I became a therapist because I know what it feels like to struggle internally and question your own worth. I spent years learning how to care for the person I saw in the mirror instead of criticizing them. That journey taught me compassion, resilience, and the importance of feeling truly understood — and it’s what drives my work helping others discover their own strength and value.

During my final year of my ungraduate education, I participated in an intership with the Western District of Pennsylvania United States Probation & Pretrial Services. It was in this position that I met a social worker for the first time and learned about their roles in our communties. I graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors of Science in Crimal Justice with a minor in Psychology in 2013. After graduation, I began working with intellectually and developmentally disabled adults. I graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania a second time with a Masters of Social Work in 2019. I became a licensed social worker after graduation in 2019 and began my career working as a mental health therapist. After two years, I was able to become a licensed independent social worker in 2023. I began working in conjunction with Grow Therapy in 2024 and have been working with them ever since.
I have had the privilege of working with with a broad range of clients for over 6 years in the counseling field. This experience has been beneficial and rewarding in my journey of understanding and providing strong clinical guidance towards a wide range of the population. While I am rooted in existential-humanistic theory, I love to take a multi-modal and flexible approach to psychotherapy, so that I can better serve each individuals unique psychological and emotional needs.
Deciding to seek support through counseling takes courage, and the process of finding the right therapist can be intimidating. Building a trusting relationship with a therapist can take time and I understand how difficult it can be to be vulnerable.
My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and Humanistic, focussed on building a therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, safety, empathy, and compassion. I utilize evidence-based methods such as CBT, CFT, mindfulness-based interventions, breath work, somatic psychotherapy, and EMDR.
Whether you are looking for a safe space to talk through current stressors, or dig deeper to process past trauma, I hope to provide a safe and nurturing space, collaborating with you on your journey of healing and personal growth.

If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out—I would be honored to support you.
You can love someone deeply and still recognize that the way you're being treated isn't okay. You can care about others while also learning to care for yourself. Together, let's figure out what's happening, understand why it's happening, challenge the patterns keeping you stuck, and identify what you can actually do differently.

If I could write a letter to my younger self, I would tell her this: You are not broken. You are responding to what you’ve been through. And one day, your healing will become someone else’s hope. Hi, I’m Cherita Griffin, MS, LPCC-S, NCC, CYT, SEL-F, C-DBT, CMIP—a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory Endorsement who has spent over 20 years supporting people through mental health challenges. I’m a trauma-informed therapist who deeply understands that healing is not just clinical… it’s personal. I’m also a Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT), Social Emotional Learning Facilitator (SEL-F), Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist (C-DBT), and Certified Mindfulness Informed Professional (CMIP), allowing me to integrate both evidence-based practices and holistic approaches into the work we do together. In our work together, we don’t just talk, we gently uncover, process, and rebuild. I combine evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, mindfulness, and Social Emotional Learning with a compassionate, real, and non-judgmental space.
This is a place where:
• You don’t have to have it all together
• You don’t have to carry everything alone
• You can finally exhale
Healing is not about becoming someone new, it’s about returning to who you were before life taught you to shrink, question yourself, or survive in silence.
You deserve to feel whole, worthy, and at peace.

Whether someone is looking for support with life changes, managing symptoms, or building new skills, I am here to listen and offer guidance in a safe, accepting space. My goal is to help clients discover their strengths and work together toward achieving their personal goals and objectives.
Are you tired of being judged for not doing things the “normal” way? Has the world attempted to dim your light? Have you listened to lies of others and yourself that has led you down a path of shame and guilt? If you are looking for a space that is fun, nonjudgmental, the ability to be yourself then come see me as I take pride in being apart of others’ journey. I wont lie and say that change is easy, change is messy, but I am willing to be messy with you.
Hi, I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio. I've been providing outpatient therapy to clients all over Ohio for the past 12 years. I love meeting with people and finding out their personal goals and challenges and then creating a therapeutic approach that is unique to the individual and their needs. Creating a strong alliance with each and every client I see helps me to achieve this. This is what makes therapy successful!
While my work is grounded in clinical, evidence-based approaches, I also believe that healing is a deeply personal journey and that many people experience their healing through a spiritual lens.
For clients who are open to it, therapy can include exploration of spirituality, meaning, purpose, intuition, personal beliefs, and our relationship with something greater than ourselves. These conversations are never about imposing a particular religion or worldview. They are about making room for the parts of your experience that matter to you.
I see therapy as an opportunity not only to reduce distress, but to better understand yourself, reconnect with your inner wisdom, and create a life that feels authentic and meaningful. We may explore the relationship between your thoughts, emotions, nervous system, body, relationships, values, and spiritual life as interconnected pieces of your overall wellbeing.
Whether you're experiencing anxiety, trauma, burnout, life transitions, relationship difficulties, or simply a sense that something in your life no longer feels aligned, therapy can become a space for both healing and transformation
Over the past 11 years, my work with adults, children, and families has been a true privilege. I have had the honor of listening to people's stories, I've watched people's hidden strengths come to light, and I've walked with my clients as they learn what works for them. Together we find the clarity and the internal resources needed to meet their challenges.
At the heart of my practice is human connection. I want therapy to feel like a genuine conversation with someone who gets it—not like you’re sitting across from a clinical research paper.
I love to laugh with my clients, talk about the real stuff, and create a space where you never have to worry about being judged or saying the “wrong” thing. I’m a human being, too, and I believe that sharing parts of myself when it’s helpful can make therapy feel more comfortable, relatable, and real.
My hope is that you feel safe enough to be completely yourself with me. Maybe you’ll cry. Maybe we’ll laugh. Maybe you’ll have an “aha” moment, or maybe you’ll simply leave feeling like you finally got something off your chest.
I want therapy to be something you actually look forward to—not another obligation on your calendar. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling a little lighter, a little more understood, and a little more hopeful about yourself and your future.
Therapy is self-care, but it’s also connection. And sometimes, you just need a real person sitting across from you saying, “Yeah…that’s really hard. Let’s figure this out together.”
I obtained a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I have worked in the mental health field for over 15 years, and I spent the last six years working as a professional counselor with children, adolescents, young adults, middle aged adults, older adults, couples and families on a variety of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, grief, social anxiety, eating disorders, career counseling, parenting, relationship issues/poor communication, etc.
# Welcome to The Unraveling Room.
For more than 25 years, I have worked in community mental health, crisis intervention, and hospital-based psychiatric practice.
I've learned something along the way:
**People are complicated.**
I'm comfortable there.
Maybe your story includes trauma, bipolar disorder, depression, personality disorders, chronic pain, complex medical conditions, or functional seizures (PNES). Maybe you've collected diagnoses, medications, specialists, and years of therapy—and still feel that no one quite understands the whole story.
**You are not a diagnosis.**
And you are not a problem waiting for the right therapeutic technique.
You are a story.
I don't fear your anger. Your intensity. Your contradictions. Your messy history. Or the part of your story you've been afraid to say out loud.
**Bring it.**
I am an active therapist. I listen deeply, but I also ask questions. I notice patterns. I make connections. I challenge when I believe it matters.
We may laugh.
We may work on practical skills.
And sometimes we will sit together with something neither of us can fix.
Medication can be an important tool. Medical care matters. When appropriate, I will collaborate with your psychiatric or medical providers.
But **the relationship matters.**
Twenty-five years of experience cannot replace what happens between two people in a therapy room.
And I am not the therapist for everyone.
If you want someone to mostly listen, I may not be your therapist.
But if you want someone willing to enter the labyrinth with you—to ask difficult questions, follow unexpected turns, and stay when things get uncomfortable—we might fit.
Our lives are patterns woven from countless threads.
Some we chose.
Some were handed to us.
Some held us together.
Some became knots.
**We don't unravel you.**
We unravel the pattern.
**Bring your story. Bring the threads.**
Let's see where they lead.
I help adults heal from trauma and anxiety so they can feel safer, more grounded, and more in control of their lives. My approach is energetic, grounded, and collaborative, with a strong focus on nervous system regulation. I integrate practical tools you can use in your daily life with deeper therapeutic work, so you’re not just talking about your experiences—you’re learning how to feel differently in your body over time.

Hi, I’m Jessica Vargas LCSW, LISW and I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can be honest, understood, and supported without judgment. Life can become overwhelming, whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, stress, major life changes, anxiety, depression, or simply feeling stuck and unsure of what comes next.
My approach is warm, compassionate, and practical. I work collaboratively with each client to understand what is happening beneath the surface while developing realistic tools and strategies that can create meaningful change. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Your experiences, goals, and strengths are unique, and our work together should reflect that.
I work with teens, adults, and couples who may be struggling with emotional challenges, relationship concerns, communication, self-esteem, life transitions, family conflict, stress, or other challenges that are making it difficult to feel like themselves. For couples, I provide a supportive space to improve communication, understand patterns within the relationship, and work toward a healthier connection.
As a therapist, I strive to create an environment where you feel comfortable being yourself—even when things feel messy or difficult. My goal isn’t simply to help you get through a challenging moment, but to help you better understand yourself, build confidence in your ability to cope, and develop skills that continue to serve you beyond therapy.
Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. If you’re ready to make a change, I’m here to help you take that first step.
