I’m an experienced therapist who values building strong therapeutic relationships. My approach takes the whole person into account, focusing on both physical and emotional well-being. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Polyvagal Theory (PVT), Attachment Theory and Acceptance and Mindfulness practices. I also incorporate Integrative Health Coaching to address any physical factors that may influence mental health. My work focuses on areas such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, co-dependency, weight management, and disordered eating.
I’m a Licensed Counselor with several years of experience supporting late-teens, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, life transitions, interpersonal difficulties, and the lasting impact of past experiences. I work especially well with individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, even when they appear to be functioning well on the outside. Many of the people I work with are looking for greater clarity, confidence, and direction in their lives.
My goal is to create a space where you can slow down, make sense of what you're carrying, and better understand yourself without judgment. Together, we'll explore the patterns, experiences, and relationships that have shaped you while working toward meaningful changes that help you feel more grounded, connected, and aligned in your daily life.
What's been happening? My name is Erin, I am a licensed clinical social worker currently based in North Carolina. I received my Masters from Fordham University in New York, where I grew up. Hello, and welcome! I'm a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) with six years of experience working with adults as they navigate life's challenges and transitions. I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and judgment-free space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered.
I enjoy working with individuals who are experiencing life changes, whether it's starting a new career, navigating relationship changes, becoming a parent, or simply feeling stuck or uncertain about what's next. My approach is collaborative, person-centered, and tailored to your unique needs. I incorporate evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help you build practical coping skills, gain insight, and move toward your goals. For clients who request it, I also offer faith-based counseling by thoughtfully integrating spirituality into the therapeutic process.
I believe therapy is a partnership, and I look forward to supporting you as you work toward healing, growth, and a more fulfilling life.
My name is Amanda Chilleme, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina, as well as a Master’s Certified Addiction Professional. For over 11 years, I have supported individuals in identifying what truly matters to them, navigating obstacles, and building a foundation for a more fulfilling future.
My primary specialty is working with men and women struggling with substance use disorders as well as process and behavioral addictions, helping them find a pathway to a life that feels less burdened and more aligned. I also have extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorders, grief and bereavement, trauma, attachment concerns, and personality disorders.
As a clinician, I take a human-focused approach. I am not here to tell you what you need to work on—you already know the what. My role is to help you understand the why, and ultimately the how: how to shift it, heal it, overcome it, or, when appropriate, let it go altogether.
Your first session is best described as a two-way interview. As I listen to your story and your narrative begins to take shape, we collaboratively determine two things:
Whether I am the right therapist for you, and
Whether this therapeutic relationship is the right fit for both of us.
If we decide to move forward together, identifying your goals becomes your first assignment. This process allows me to better understand how you think, how you interpret challenges, and how barriers such as stress, anxiety, depression, or relationship dynamics show up for you. From there, we focus on one goal at a time.
I see myself as your coach, teammate, and cheerleader!
Whether you are just beginning therapy or have been on this journey for some time, I invite you to plant that seed—and see just how beautifully you grow.
Hi there! I am Stephen Kovacs a licensed clinical social worker with 5 years of experience helping adults who feel constantly “on edge” from anxiety and panic—always braced for the next shoe to drop, even when life looks fine from the outside. I’m licensed as an LISW-CP in South Carolina and an LCSW in North Carolina and Virginia and practice predominantly in the evenings via telehealth.
My focus is on high-responsibility adults who are tired of living in survival mode: racing thoughts, worst‑case scenarios, physical symptoms like a racing heart or tight chest, and the burnout that comes from holding everything together for everyone else. Together, we’ll slow things down, make sense of what anxiety and panic are doing in your body and your life, and build concrete tools to manage spirals, reduce avoidance, and feel more in control day to day—not with fluffy advice, but with step‑by‑step, doable changes.
