Welcome, my name is Jenilee Hopkins. I’m a passionate therapist who believes that healing begins in a space of safety, compassion, and genuine connection. If you're feeling weighed down by life and need someone to help you, I’m here for you. Together, we'll explore patterns, nurture self-compassion, and uncover the inner wisdom that supports authentic change. I’m here to walk with you on your journey, side by side. Remember, you’re not alone. There is hope for a brighter future and lasting change.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time;accepting hardship as a pathway to peace; This prayer stays near my heart as it has helped me remain resilient during my personal times of hardship.
As a former foster child who entered foster care at the age of 12 and aged out, I have a passion for serving children and adolescents who have similar experiences. However, this does not limit my empathy for serving individuals and groups who are committed to improving their mental health. I am an older sister of 10 siblings (8 of them being all boys). Therefore, I have the skills, abilities, and patience to build therapeutic relationships with children and adolescents seeking to build resilience and fortitude in improving their mental health and well-being.
My approach to therapy includes, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Solutions-Focused.
I love to listen to music in my free time as well as spend time with friends and family enjoying a competitive game night. Looking forward to working with you!
I, April Nicole possesses a Master's in Social Work from Penn West Edinboro University. Currently based in Alaska, I focus on providing mental health services in an outpatient setting. I hold LCSW licenses in Nevada, Florida, Alaska and North Carolina. In North Carolina I am a licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS), and I am credentialed nationally as a Masters Addictions Counselor (MAC) by NAADAC.
Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in North Carolina. As a millennial therapist, I bring a relatable and compassionate approach to helping clients manage stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I specialize in perinatal mental health, supporting individuals through pregnancy, postpartum, and the emotional adjustments of parenthood. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space and work collaboratively with clients to build practical skills that foster resilience, emotional well-being, and lasting personal growth.
My life experiences drew me to become a therapist and gave me a strong desire to help others on their paths. I have worked in a variety of settings, from schools, jails, and hospitals to private practice. I have specialized training in TF-CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, autism, and women's issues, including perinatal, postpartum, and perimenopausal/menopausal issues. I look forward to helping you on this journey together!
I am well-versed in military specific issues, as I contracted at various installations for six years and I have been in private practice in a military community for over 7 years. Most of my clients are activity duty, veterans, and/or spouses of active duty service members. I am EMDR basic trained and use tough skills with anxious and traumatized clients. Most of my clients have relationship issues due to past traumas that have not been processed. I have a strength-based approach, providing support and practical feedback to help clients address personal life challenges. I am a systemic thinker, meaning I view life as a relationship and each individual within the relationship is an integral participant in the "whole" system. Most "individual" or "couple" issues effect the entire family system.
