Hello! My name is Gregory Longmore. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Brooklyn, NY. I provide Christian counseling, however I'm able to clinically assess and treat the most common mental health disorders. This means that it's not required that we talk about Christ, or that you are Christian to use my services. Currently I'm offering online services only, through a virtual clinic.

Driven by a profound curiosity about life’s complexities, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Deviant Behavior and Social Control, followed by a graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. John’s University. I have specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Perinatal Mental Health, equipping me to support a diverse range of client needs. With over a decade of counseling experience in various settings—including inpatient mental health hospitals, higher education, and community counseling centers—I have developed a warm and accepting approach. My goal is to help clients understand their challenges and implement lasting solutions for positive change, empowering them to embrace their journeys with confidence and resilience.

I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 12+ years of experience. My specialties consist of psychosomatic illnesses, relationships, and career counseling. I received my Bachelors degree in Child Psychology, initially working with the teen/young adult population. I then transitioned over to adults as I pursued my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Whether it's individuals, couples, or the geriatric population, I'm happy to get to work with whomever comes my way. I do my best to facilitate a warm, trusting environment. He has studied various approaches and techniques proven to bring forth effective results, including internal family systems, CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based therapy, and solution-focused therapy. My style of therapy is more direct and solution-focused than ordinary and outdated talk therapy; I take an active role during our sessions while utilizing more modern and progressive therapeutic techniques proven to bring forth effective results. Some of the modalities I use include sex addiction therapy, internal family systems, LGBTQ+-focused modalities, CBT, DBT, sex therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.
