New to Grow
I am a counselor with four years of experience supporting clients through practical, honest, and compassionate therapy. I take a straightforward approach that helps people recognize unhelpful patterns, build effective coping skills, and create lasting change. I believe clients already have the strengths to make meaningful changes and my role is to provide guidance and support along the way. I value connection, collaboration, and empowering clients with tools they can use in their everyday lives.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In your first session with me, we’ll take time to get to know each other and understand what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your goals, challenges, and patterns in your thoughts and behaviors. Together, we’ll start identifying practical steps and strategies you can begin using right away. My approach is straightforward and collaborative—you can expect an honest, supportive space where we focus on creating meaningful change while building skills that last.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What stands out about my approach is that it’s practical, straightforward, and results-focused. I help clients identify unhelpful patterns, develop new skills, and make meaningful changes in their lives. I believe clients already have the strengths they need to grow, and my role is to provide guidance, support, and tools to help them use those strengths effectively. My sessions are collaborative, honest, and aimed at creating real, lasting results rather than just talking about problems.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am best positioned to serve clients who are ready to take an active role in their growth. This includes people who are willing to examine unhelpful patterns, try new approaches, and develop practical skills to manage challenges. I work well with clients seeking honest, straightforward guidance to create meaningful change in their thoughts, behaviors, and daily lives. Above all, I just want my clients to be healthy and happy.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT helps people feel better by changing how they think and what they do. Unhelpful thoughts → bad feelings → unhealthy actions CBT teaches people to notice those thoughts, challenge them, and practice better behaviors I use it because it works, it gives clear tools and people can use it in real life, not just in therapy Change your thoughts + change your actions = feel better
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness-based therapy helps people feel better by teaching them to pay attention to the present moment without judging it. I use it because it helps people calm their mind, it reduces stress, anxiety, and overthinking and it teaches people to accept thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them. It helps people respond, not react. Notice what’s happening → accept it → feel more in control
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy helps people feel better by focusing on solutions, not problems. I used it because it looks at what’s already working, it helps people set clear, realistic goals, and it builds hope and confidence Find strengths → set goals → make small changes → feel better
Strength-Based
Strength-based therapy helps people feel better by focusing on what they’re good at, not what’s “wrong” with them. I used it because it builds confidence and hope, it highlights skills, talents, and resources, it helps people feel capable and empowered and it supports positive change without blame. Focus on strengths → feel empowered → make change
