Before we embark on this road together, first, allow me to welcome you to therapy. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe that the purpose of counseling is to help clients achieve goals and to gain more insight into their lives. Through utilizing my expertise, and professional personal experiences clients will be allotted the opportunity to develop a better understanding of themselves. I have earned my B.A. in Psychological and Social Sciences from Pennsylvania State University, and a M.Ed., from the College of Education's Counseling Psychology Program at Temple University. My approach to psychotherapy is integrative and focused on the individualized need of each client. My name is Dr. Olushola Bakare, and I'm a board-certified Psychotherapist. I attended St Joseph College. I'm happy to help you today with any of your concerns. I enjoy empowering people and digging out their strengths. I don't ask fish to fly, neither do I ask birds to swim. I respect everyone's strengths and help my client recognize them. I love to highlight my client's strengths. I offer a safe, warm, therapeutic, judgment-free space for Adults (18+) and Older Adults (65+). I am sorry, but I do not accept clients who pay in cash. Also, every late cancellation or no-show accrues a late charge fee.
It is my ethical duty to officially terminate our therapeutic relationship when it is reasonably clear that the client is no longer beneficent, services are no longer required, counseling no longer serves the client's needs and interests, or Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT limits do not allow the provision of further counseling services.
It is the policy of Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT, that our professional relationship will be terminated after a one-month consistent lapse of meeting with a client. Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT, will attempt to notify you of this change in status as soon as possible after one month. My ethical duty is identifying, being available, and caring for current clients. It could feel awkward for our relationship to end, yet it is not meant to be discourteous in any way. I do not complete disability forms (Social Security, work excuse, FMLA, Court papers/legal papers, emotional support letters, etc).
NO COUPLE THERAPY OR MEDICATION MANAGEMENT, PLEASE!

My name is Dr. A and I have been providing counseling since 2002. I believe we all possess the skills to reach our potential and that as a Counselor it is my job to help you find your strengths to be the person you want to be.
I will focus on building an authentic and supportive relationship with you and utilize techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution Focused, Attachment -Base approaches and many others.
I believe here is a lot gained from understanding how our thoughts impact our feelings and behaviors. Additionally, the earliest relationships in life impact our adult relationships, and there can be much to be gained from a deeper understanding of this. I look forward to working with you soon!
As a neurodivergent Black woman living with a chronic illness and mother of three adult children, two of whom identify with the LGBTQ+ commmunity, I am always interested in the deeper question people carry about their lives. Many of the individuals I work with are thoughtful, capable people who have spent years showing up for others, meeting expectations, and doing what seemed like the responsible thing to do. At some point, though, many begin to notice a quiet sense that something no longer fits.
My work centers around helping people slow down enough to understand what is actually happening beneath that feeling. Together we look at the patterns, experiences, and internal narratives that shape how you see yourself and the choices available to you. From that place, people often begin to rediscover a clearer sense of who they are and what direction their lives might take moving forward.
I am especially drawn to working with adults navigating identity shifts, relationship transitions, and moments in life where the path forward is no longer obvious.
Broadly speaking, my therapeutic aproach of counseling falls into a behavioral model through which I usually work to address the problems identified. I pride myself for being a thoughtful therapist who manages to get those to talk and explore a different perspective on the identified issues. Quite simply, and through various and applicable therapeutic modalities, I recall past details and tie them together with new facts to help clients better understand themselves.
I believe importance of a right view that comes from balanced mindset and emotion and it will help to empower, uplift clarity, and motivate success and happiness. My working style gives clients a safe space to find authentic expression about their life's struggles and build healthy solutions that produce positive perspective and empowerment. Personally I practice meditation and Buddhism doctrines. I help clients overcome limiting beliefs, resolve obstacles that derail their collaboration, and elevate mutual strengths, joy, and potential for deep connection.
I have been working with individuals struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder, substance use, sexual addiction, and mental health challenges for the past ten years. I have a real heart to walk alongside you to encourage, support, and empower you to move forward in your recovery needs. I graduated from Liberty University in 2014 with an MA in Professional Counseling and completed a Doctoral program specializing in treating trauma-related challenges. I approach recovery through the eyes of motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy. I am also trained in EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy.

Whether you’re seeking help for mental health disorders, relationship issues, or sexual health concerns, I am here to guide you on your journey towards a healthier, more fulfilling life.
As a person-centered therapist, I provide a safe and supportive environment to help clients explore their concerns. My approach is direct yet compassionate, utilizing creative, reflective, and engaging therapy modalities. I encourage the development of body awareness to examine the mind-body connection. Additionally, I incorporate a holistic view of spirituality, recognizing its importance in overall well-being and integrating it into the therapeutic process.
For over a decade, I've immersed myself in the realm of mental health care, where I meet my clients in the place they are in their emotional/psychological struggles. I am passionate about making a lasting positive impact in each and every client's life. To that end, I obtained a bachelor's, a master’s and a doctorate degrees in psychology.
My therapeutic approach is as diverse as the stories I encounter, tailored to resonate with each person’s unique journey.

Hi, my name is Morgan. Do you ever feel that your life is nothing but a big puzzle and that some pieces are missing? You are not quite sure how to find those pieces. And if you do, you don't know where they fit. So you look for someone to help you find the pieces and hopefully, put them where they should go. It's not always an easy, but once completed, you feel whole. I was there once. At the age of 21, I decided to leave the U.S. and travel abroad by myself for 6 months. Then it was off to Central America. My eyes were wide open! I loved to experience different cultures. And my curiosity for differences never went away. A college mentor told me about the field of social work. So I got my MSW and thus began a new career. After years of working in the field and at various occupations, I decided to join DOD and become a Clinical Social Worker for the Navy. After 14 years of government work, I went into private practice. Now I'm here and I love it! It isn't everyone who can love what they do and do what they love. I'm waiting to hear from you; excited to hear your story and maybe share a little bit of mine so we can connect and build a rapport. You are the center of this journey and it is a humbling experience for me to be a part of it. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you for coming here and viewing my page. I have much life experience besides work and school caring for those with a severe and persistent mental illness, mood disorders, anxiety and depression and woman's issues. Also, I have worked with many families of those struggling with mental health issues. My children and I are survivors of domestic violence and I have learned that with you can heal and reach your potential even when sometimes you do not think you can.
Thank you for taking the time to take a look at my profile! Therapy should be uniquely tailored to each person. I work with clients to identify patterns of behavior that may have contributed to difficulties in relationships—with family, friends, or at work or school—and help find ways to create positive change. We learn to change our perspective on life, our past, our entire reality, and recognize that we really can control how we think and what we think about.
One of the primary purposes of coming to therapy is to be heard. I am here to listen and work with you to come up with a solution to the problem or issues you may be having.
I've worked with many clients coping with anxiety and depression, in particular, which has led to the development of a different approach that combines parts of a few different proven techniques. This approach is designed to change your perspective on your mental illness and learn new ways to cope, adjust, and adapt.
We work together to find what works!
Personally, I have been managing numerous forms of anxiety (including, at times, OCD and PTSD), depression, and bipolar II disorder since my early teen years, with about a decade battling addiction. Thankfully, I had the support of my family, my wife, my two daughters, and our multiple rescue pups. They're all the motivation and inspiration I need!
Hello, I'm Natasha Lee and I am looking forward to getting to know you. You've already taken the first step in seeking therapy and should be proud of yourself. I will work with you hand in hand to assist you with learning effective techniques to manage your emotions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and daily life stressors.
