Hi. My name is Christine Toler, Chris, and I earned my Ed.S and LPC- MHSP in the state of Tennessee, New Jersey and Delaware. I have been licensed as a Professional Counselor since 2010, and a School Counselor since 2006.
I started being a believer in therapy when it first helped me over forty years ago, (as a child). I thought what a wonderful way to get to the root of the problem... and get rid of it. Since then, I have been working on myself as a client as well as acquiring a licensure to help others, including teens, adults and families. I focus on solution based and non-judgmental cognitive therapy. I believe understanding a problem is not the end of the work. (unfortunately)
The action we take to support a positive change... is what changes lives. And while I have experienced that in some very important areas... I continue to grow... daily. I choose to be transparent about that because I believe it is important to the work that my clients know I understand how it feels to be in their chair.
If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, doubt, guilt, grief, or all of the above, I believe I can help you.
As an Army Brat and Marine wife, I understand the unique challenges faced by military families. I'm also a mother of three young men, spending my weekends cheering them on at swim meets. Fully licensed in Georgia, Virginia and New Jersey, I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can share your experiences and work towards your personal growth. I look forward to supporting you on your journey to well-being.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker conducting sessions virtually in New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Nevada. I specialize in people that are going through tough times and need coping skills to manage. Life might have thrown you curve balls, and you might not be accepting of the uncertainty and the change. I'll be here to tell you that bad situations can be temporary and life changes can also be great. I specialize in helping people who fall down but get back up. I'll help you to talk about your feelings and help you to make treatment goals that you have been wanting to reach.
I am a therapist dedicated to empowering clients to reclaim their path toward their most desired future. My work is fundamentally solution-focused, meaning we spend less time dissecting problems and more time defining your strengths, identifying immediate wins, and building actionable steps toward your goals. Your capacity for change is immense, and my role is to help you see it clearly.
My approach is collaborative and strategically integrated. I draw heavily on Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help you resolve ambivalence and articulate your own, intrinsic reasons for change. This partnership focuses on eliciting "Change Talk" and moving from passive hope to decisive action. When building specific skills, I utilize CBT techniques, ensuring you leave each session with measurable, practical tools to manage your mood and navigate daily challenges effectively.
For clients healing from deeper wounds, my expertise in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Grief Therapy ensures we address the past, but always through the lens of liberation. We process how trauma or loss has changed your worldview—identifying "stuck points"—not to dwell, but to remove cognitive barriers that block your future progress.
I weave in Existential principles to anchor your goals in profound personal meaning. We ensure the future you are building is authentic and aligned with your deepest values, giving you the courage to take ownership of your choices. If you are ready to stop focusing on what is broken and start defining your best self, I offer a focused, empowering journey toward reclaiming your life.

Life transitions, relationships in flux, maybe you haven't felt like yourself recently. Navigating hard emotions that keep you up a night, or preoccupy thinking, might be holding you back from enjoying activities and relationships you once did. Reasons for seeking therapy are unique and individual to you. You are deserving of a therapist who will build a space for you to be vulnerable with your story and emotions. Together, we can build a path forward through empathetic processing, acceptance, skill building, and goal planning.
Therapy is like a compass, it doesn't provide all the answers, but it provides direction. Focusing on your strengths, presenting problem, and future goals, our time together will be spent targeting false thoughts, realizing potential, and building trust in yourself.
I am an experience therapist who can support you in making positive changes in your life. My areas of specialty include personality and mood disorders, addiction, and grief, but I have work with clients on a wide range of issues over the years. A few moments to introduce myself. Professionally I am known as
I. Barry Bell, Ph.D. I am a 73-year-old, male, Caucasian Clinical Psychologist who has been in practice for 39 years. I have worked in a variety of settings, in both in-patient psychiatric hospitals and out-patient clinical settings. I have also maintained my own private practice from September 2016 to the present.
Prior to receiving my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 1985, I trained extensively as a Modern Dancer for 10 years. During these years I became deeply involved in emerging positive psychologies and Eastern/Buddhist/Taoist studies. This was the beginning of the interface between what is now referred to as Mindfulness based approaches to psychotherapy and Eastern philosophies, especially Buddhist. Mindfulness approaches to psychotherapy are now at the forefront of evidence-based interventions.
I have spent more than the past 20 years studying and practicing the interface between psychotherapy and personal psychological growth. Over the years I have integrated various theoretical approaches, including depth psychodynamic theories. I will be happy to discuss my approach with you further should you choose to contact me to consider engaging in psychotherapeutic work with me.
Providing therapy, being a listener and helping others in essence found me. I did not initially plan to become a therapist but I am so happy and proud I did.
I receive joy from being able to find the right words and work through the issue with my client.
Therapy is a very important tool, whether it is intensive treatment or being a supportive ear.
I have worked in the helping field for over 20 years. Beginning my career with developmentally delayed, then preventive services, foster care, Autism spectrum and currently providing child and adult psychiatric services. I enjoy the reward of helping! I am licensed to provide treat in New York and Georgia.

I believe that we can work on improving physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of your life. Together, we will figure out your best qualities, strengths, and abilities to realize your goals. I began my career working in university clinics, psychiatric hospitals, community mental health facilities and private practice serving individuals with mood disorders, attention difficulties, persistent severe mental illness disorders, and obsessions and compulsions. I further have experience working with addictions, trauma, codependencies, and relationship struggles.
I value authenticity, empathy, and self-awareness, both for myself, my clients, and as a critical part of the therapeutic process (I also take advantage of the healing power of laughter whenever possible!). I aim to normalize and validate my clients’ experiences without judgment, and above all, provide the most basic of human needs: to feel seen and heard.
My name is Stephanie (or Stevie, either is fine) and I have been providing therapy in NJ exclusively via telehealth for about the last 5 years (prior to that, in person). Hello. I am licensed marriage and family therapist and my clinical approach is cognitive-behavioral strength-based. I focus on helping people invalidate negative thoughts and become aware of their strengths. I do so in order to help them improve their confidence so that they can overcome challenges that they previously believed were impossible to triumph over. I also help people improve their boundaries to assist them with preventing others from negatively impacting their confidence and interfering with the development of their goals. With couples and families, I use an emotionally-focused approach that helps people become more comfortable with being vulnerable with people that are important to them. Becoming vulnerable helps people focus on discussing how they are impacted by others and what they need from them instead of blaming and criticism. Taking such a stance increases the chance that listeners will remain attentive instead of becoming defensive.
