As a licensed Psychologist, I first prioritize learning not only why a person is contacting me, but also to be able to relate to that person based on their individual needs and what are their expectations of therapy. I believe that we all need to have a sense of purpose or meaningfulness in our lives, something that our thoughts, emotions and life experiences contribute to the "heart" of our personalities. The process of healing from the challenges of life begins with a search for truth about our beliefs, habits and relationships. Physical health is affected by our mental health through the complex interactions between the brain and bodily functions. Interventions I use in my sessions include Cognitive Therapy, CBT, DBT and ACT. As a Psychologist, I have worked in private practice, long term care, and forensic and psychiatric hospitals. Even though these patient populations are diverse, the common denominator is the human "heart". My sessions work to connect a person's sense of meaning in life to help them overcome anxiety, depression and a loss of personal identity in this complex world.

When the burdens of our circumstances, relationships, or daily lives, in general, begin to weigh on our shoulders, finding help in a safe, therapeutic, non-judgmental space can begin to ease our heavy loads. My name is Caitlin Pierce, and I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist with 15 years in the field. I have spent the bulk of my career working with families and individuals in both office and in-home settings. I have a history of training and practice in trauma-focused counseling, relationships (family, marriage, parenting), stress/anxiety management, and I also am a certified personal trainer and nutrition specialist. With this specialization, I can support wellness and health-related concerns such as self-esteem, body image, and making lifestyle changes like stress-reduction or shifting priorities. My favorite part of being a counselor is watching the people I work with begin to see a new "story" emerge or a shift in thinking around their presented problems. I like to help clients unlock the parts of their minds that remain stuck in a particular way of thinking or feeling that keeps them from feeling their best. I believe that all of us are capable of change, whether we're 18 or 85, and with healthy support and guidance, there is hope to feel better. I aim to bring my clients a conversational, personal, and humanistic counseling style. I look forward to working together!

You don't have to keep holding it all together. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship conflicts, a major life transition, or the overwhelming love and loss that can come with new motherhood — you deserve a space to set it down for a while, and someone to help you hold it. Hi, I'm Lucy, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and certified perinatal mental health counselor (PMH-C). I work with women who are navigating through trauma, anxiety, and the unique emotional landscape of the perinatal period. My approach is warm, inclusive, and deeply human — I believe real connection is what makes real change possible. This work asks a lot of you, and I don't take that lightly. My name is Nadine Thompson, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I earned my Master of Social Work degree, specializing in Clinical Practice, from Smith College School of Social Work in 1991. I also have post-graduate certification in Addiction counseling, multicultural practice, DBT, and Couples and Family Therapy. I've worked in many different settings with individuals and families who have a variety of personal issues such as depression/anxiety, stress, family problems, trauma/abuse, addiction, relationships/parenting, and more. Over the past 30 years as a clinician, my experience has taught me that the most important aspect of counseling by far is the rapport, connection, and comfort you feel with your therapist. Recently, I have come to really see the value in being able "to hold space" for clients to express their deepest feelings and possibly find the answers and direction that they need as they become more self-aware. We all want to be able to share our personal truths and be accepted and understood. I believe in the power of “telling our stories”, as a pathway to healing and resilience. Our work together may include you being able to see yourself and those around you more clearly and develop tools and strategies for creating change in your life.

Hello, I’m Carolyn, a Licensed Clinical Independent Social Worker (LICSW) at Grow Therapy. I’m so glad you’re here. Reaching out for support—whether starting therapy for the first time or finding a new therapist—can feel like a big step. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable, supported, and truly heard. I work collaboratively with my clients to explore what brings you to therapy and to identify meaningful goals we can work toward together. I strive to meet you where you are and support you at your own pace throughout the process. One of the most meaningful compliments I’ve received was from a client who shared that I made them feel “so special.” That reflects the heart of my approach—I lead with compassion and aim to help each person feel valued, supported, and understood, especially during difficult times. You may also occasionally see my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Chloe, who sometimes joins sessions to provide a little extra comfort. You are not alone. I am a licensed clinical social worker, and have been working with people who wanted to make some changes in their lives for more than 25 years. Together we've focused on the variety of challenges they were experiencing - depression, anxiety, family or work stressors, relational and communication issues. I also work with people who have experienced trauma, or who have chronic medical conditions, as well as those who are in a difficult situation, or who have lost someone close to them. My counseling style is conversational and interactive, and incorporates a cognitive-emotional-behavioral, solution-focused, body-based approach. We work at a speed comfortable for you, and one that respects your values, your culture and beliefs, your goals. Everyone deserves support whether they are working to make changes in their life or deal with changes they didn't choose. If you've identified some areas in your life that might benefit from your attention and intervention, I'd like to work with and support you, too.

My name is Glenroy Bristol. I am an English-speaking Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. For the past 18+ years. My approach to therapy is collaborative, evidence-based, and deeply centered on helping clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and practical tools for lasting change. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients recognize unhelpful thought patterns, challenge distorted beliefs, and develop healthier ways of thinking and responding to life’s challenges. My therapeutic style is supportive, structured, goal-oriented, and compassionate, and it also encourages accountability, personal growth, and emotional resilience. I specialize in working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress management difficulties, trauma-related concerns, relationship conflict, identity struggles, adjustment challenges, grief, self-defeating patterns, and difficulties related to life transitions. I also work with couples to improve communication, rebuild trust, strengthen emotional connection, and develop healthier relational dynamics. My approach is culturally sensitive, client-centered, and grounded in respect, empathy, and professionalism. Hi, I’m Colleen. I’m a licensed therapist who believes therapy should be a space where you can show up as yourself without feeling judged or like you have to have everything figured out. My approach is warm, supportive, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking openly about what they’re experiencing, even when it feels difficult to put into words. I work with individuals who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, struggling with confidence, navigating life changes, or simply wanting to better understand themselves and the patterns that may be affecting their lives. Together, we’ll identify what matters most to you and work toward goals that feel meaningful and realistic. I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I meet each client where they are and incorporate practical tools, honest conversations, encouragement, and even humor when appropriate. Most importantly, I want you to feel heard, supported, and comfortable being yourself throughout the process.

In today's world, mental health support is needed more than ever. Mental health IS health. It's time to end the stigma and realize it's okay to not be okay. Finding a therapist can be a daunting process but congratulations on taking the first step! As a therapist, I am to foster an environment that is warm, collaborative, supportive, and nonjudgmental. Born and raised in Massachusetts, I earned my Masters in Social Work from Boston College after receiving my Bachelors of Arts degree in history. I am licensed in all 6 New England states (RI was just added), in addition to Illinois. Over the course of my career, I have had the privilege to work with a vast array of individuals from all walks of life including children and adolescents, adults, seniors, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. As a telehealth provider, I only treat adults over the age of 22.

I provide evidence‑based therapy grounded in clinical assessment, trauma‑informed care, and culturally responsive practice. My approach is structured, collaborative, and focused on helping clients build insight, stability, and long‑term resilience. I am completing an APA‑accredited doctoral internship in a large integrated healthcare system, where I receive supervised training across trauma recovery, inpatient mental health, and neuropsychological assessment. This includes experience with Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), crisis stabilization, diagnostic clarification, and cognitive evaluations for conditions such as TBI, dementia, and complex medical presentations. My clinical work is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and other evidence‑based approaches. I integrate structured assessment, clear case conceptualization, and practical skills to help clients navigate PTSD, anxiety, depression, identity concerns, and life transitions. I am committed to providing care that is compassionate, culturally aware, and grounded in respect for each client’s lived experience. My goal is to create a safe, steady therapeutic space where clients can explore their concerns, strengthen coping abilities, and move toward meaningful personal growth. A military Veteran himself, Dennis brings lived experience, humility, and a steady, supportive presence to his work. He has served Veterans and adults across multiple settings, emergency departments, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and detoxification facilities. His approach is compassionate, structured, and culturally responsive, creating a safe and grounded space for healing and growth. Dennis integrates CBT, DBT skills, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and relapse‑prevention approaches to help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change. He is committed to helping clients move toward lives guided by clarity, resilience, and their personal values.
