I'm a licensed clinical social worker providing compassionate, evidence‑based mental health therapy through secure telehealth sessions. I offer a warm affirming space for you to show up for yourself. I operate from a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, social justice lens to help make visible the dynamics of power and oppression that act on us. My approach is collaborative and client‑centered — I believe healing begins when you feel safe, understood, and empowered in your own growth.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

When starting something new, the beginning is often the hardest part. Our first session will be an opportunity for each of us to ask questions, discuss expectations and feel out whether we are the right fit. What brought you to seek therapy, what have you tried before, if anything, and what has or has not worked for you? We will talk about your short term and long-term goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My focus is on building meaningful therapeutic relationships that support insight, resilience, and long-term well-being. My focus is your whole health - emotional, mental, physical and spiritual life and in community with others. My strength is that I treat others with dignity, respect and compassion. My approach invites collaboration, humor, warmth, spontaneity, movement and curiosity. I believe online sessions offer the flexibility to connect from the comfort and privacy of your home while receiving the same attentive, high-quality care as in-person visits. So even if I can't see them, I might still invite you to notice your hands and wiggle your toes. If you’re ready to start making meaningful changes, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move toward balance, clarity, and flow in your life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are adults in their late 20s to early 50s who appear high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck internally. Many have a history of difficult or painful experiences—sometimes clearly identifiable, sometimes harder to name—that continue to shape how they relate to themselves and others. They often struggle with perfectionism, people-pleasing, or burnout, and may feel like they’re always “on” or carrying more than others realize. Even when they’re succeeding in their careers or relationships, there’s a sense of underlying tension, self-doubt, or emotional exhaustion. They might be struggling with unstable relationships, chronic pain or insomnia. They’re tired of overthinking and repeating the same patterns. They are ready for a different way of being. They are willing to invest time and energy on themselves. While they’ve learned how to cope, they’re ready to understand themselves more deeply and find new ways of feeling grounded, and authentic.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Sometimes we all can feel like something in our life isn't working, and the universe is against us, but it might be hard to know exactly what. You might be looking to feel more balanced, confident or connected to self and others. In my experience, SFBT has helped people focus on what they want to achieve rather than the past cause of problems. The truth is, you already have the skills to solve your own problems. An outside perspective to help you see your blindspots without judgment can help you remove your blocks. Small, manageable steps toward a goal can lead to big results.

Trauma Informed Care

I integrate elements and skills-building from Mindfulness Based stress reduction (MBSR) and Dialectical Behavioral therapy (DBT) to build coping strategies for full participation in life and to help transform painful emotions. Like the weather, we cannot control external events that take us off course, but we can control our reactions to them. In my practice, we can challenge negative thoughts, anxiety, and overwhelming feelings to keep you grounded in the here and now and proactively shape what you want to have happen.

Somatic

Adverse experiences can leave a lasting impact on emotional, cognitive and body movement patterns. As a result, problems like depression, anxiety, hypervigilance, somatic complaints, addiction, and other symptoms can emerge. Sensorimotor psychotherapy is a body oriented therapeutic model that works by releasing trapped survival energy in the nervous system. We can move together toward integration, equanimity and full self-expression by just staying present, spontaneous and even playful.
