I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been practicing in the local community since 2011. I began my career working with a non-profit by helping children, teenagers, parents, and couples who struggled with various issues, ranging from learning to cope with day-to-day stressors to healing from major traumas. In the years since then, I’ve helped young adults in college wrestling with academic pressure, newly blended families yearning for harmony, couples searching to renew faded intimacy, and individuals struggling to overcome addictive patterns. This broad range of therapeutic experience has helped me to become well-rounded as a mental health professional.

I am a person-centered clinician who draws from a range of therapeutic approaches to support each individual’s unique needs. I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, respectful, and tailored to the person in front of me. My focus is on helping clients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, improve daily functioning, and move toward goals that are meaningful in their lives. My clinical approach is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and deep respect for each person’s story. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and understood. I view the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful change and work alongside clients at a pace that feels comfortable and sustainable. With nearly three decades of independent licensure, I bring both clinical expertise and lived experience to my work. I have a special interest in women’s physical and emotional health and have supported clients across the lifespan through a wide range of life transitions, stressors, and mental health concerns. My experience includes individual and family therapy, allowing me to address challenges at both the personal and relational level. I currently provide individual therapy with a flexible, personalized approach that meets clients where they are. I draw from multiple evidence-based modalities to support emotional regulation, insight, and practical coping strategies, adapting treatment to fit the individual rather than a single framework. I offer a warm, collaborative space where clients can explore their thoughts, goals, and challenges at their own pace. I welcome you to reach out so we can discuss how I can support you in finding greater clarity, balance, and well-being in your daily life.

Art Therapy is to heal with art. A picture is worth a thousand words. In my 30 years experience as an Art Therapist iI have witnessed people heal with their art expressions. Art has a way of getting to the heart of the matter very quickly to foster self discovery, growth and healing. You do not need to be an artist to do art therapy. It's about the process not the product. It is creative and fun.

I believe that each one of us has the answers to our problems inside of us. However, sometimes we need someone on our journey to help us unlock those answers by asking the right questions---things you may not have considered, presenting proven strategies, and psychoeducation. Although, you will make strides with the energy and effort you give, the number one predictor that one will improve is the quality of the therapeutic relationship. I hope to provide a place of warmth, compassion, and acceptance in which you feel empowered and free to approach any concerns. I am here to help you along on your journey. I am a licensed mental health counselor in Arizona, Florida, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, and Utah. I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with an Educational Specialist degree in Mental Health Counseling. I also earned a Master's of Art from Roosevelt University. I have experience working with youth and their families as well as adults. The theoretical framework that I usually draw from is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. I also apply Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing Techniques as needed. I address trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, interpersonal skills, self-esteem, anger, problem-solving, and decision-making. In conjunction with therapy, I believe that exercise, proper nutrition, and good sleep hygiene are an integral part of overcoming mental health concerns. Change, even positive change can be challenging and uncomfortable. I hope to provide the necessary support as a champion of change.

In my twenty-plus years of experience, the therapeutic relationship is the principal reason that therapy “works” or “doesn’t work.” My therapeutic style focuses on first developing a strong therapeutic alliance in which you feel emotionally safe and heard without judgment. You’ve already come to the conclusion that something in your life is not working, and my task is to help you to identify the ways in which you’d like things to be different. From there, together we can create realistic, achievable goals that support those changes and move you toward the life that you deserve. I have a large repertoire of strategies and interventions, which include cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and motivational interviewing. Producing insights, strategies, and tools that you can use immediately is the goal of every interaction. I have extensive experience in trauma, anxiety, relationship issues (adult as well as parent-child), substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders. I have found that many people experiencing trauma or anxiety are helped by a combination of mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy. This teaches them how to tolerate their intense feelings and how to reframe unhelpful thought patterns that keep them stuck. On a personal note, I have been a LMFT since 1997 and have worked with a variety of clients in many different settings. I work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Friday mornings. My latest appointment is 4:00PM ET When I’m not helping people, I can usually be found on the golf course. I look forward to helping you to make the changes you desire.

I'm self aware, having chosen a pathway of self exploration to become my best self. I am a survivor of my story, who has always known the importance of never surrendering to any situation life hands me. My resilience and positivity have guided my decisions to choose fighting like hell to be the greatest version of myself. I live passionately with growing self esteem as a result of having the highest priority on SELF LOVE. My treatment approach will always be action focused. Many clients that I have mentored with eating compulsions have had favorable outcomes as a result of our therapeutic relationship. I am a survivor of acting out with food, including a period of 17 years of battling bulimia, and a lifetime of searching for PEACE from food addiction. Since October 2004 I have lived in recovery, with no episodes of bulimic behaviors, and have a healthy relationship with food beyond my wildest dreams. I have found the PEACE I have been searching for which motivates me to help others to live in a healthy body. I have shared this struggle to allow you a deeper understanding of my personal story. I believe everything I have survived has provided life lessons that have humbled me and allowed me to see the humanity in everyone. We all possess so much untapped power that , if accessed, can help us achieve our goals and become the best version of ourselves! I have the skills to help you too, I believe that is why I'm here.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I have been practicing for over 18 years. In my clinical opinion, all therapeutic approaches come from a place of strength, validation and compassion. In my work, I focus on the concerns you feel comfortable sharing while validating your experiences, creating a compassionate and safe space which allows you to effect change and move past pain, loss, trauma and regret. I aim to teach you that the present moment is truly the gift we have, even if it doesn't always feel that way. Our past is behind us, it can neither hurt us any longer nor be changed. We do not know the future, it is not yet visible. Attempting to prepare for what is to come or holding tight to what is no more, takes us away from the present, the moments we have right now, preventing us from embracing the life we dream of. Old messages, hurts and grief often keep us stuck, holding onto a past that will always be a part of who we are, but in no way defines us. We are not "what" we have endured, rather it is the "what" which forged our strengths, awareness and resilience. The story we create is not written by anyone other than ourselves. The truth in life is that we are all good as we are, right now, in this moment. And the beauty in life is that we can grow to be better, no matter what we may have been told, witnessed or lived. You matter, your journey matters, your recovery is what you decide, what you want and I am proud to be a partner to you in this. Even if you select another therapist, remember you are worth it, always.

I have 15 years of experience providing psychotherapy in multidisciplinary practices essentially as a generalist; the primary focus of my practice is very much on establishing a solid connection with my patients, which I believe creates a supportive and safe sense of relationship with me - essential for change and ongoing definition of goals. My own personal goal for my patients is giving them a sense of what the solution might look, and feel, like.

Hi, and welcome—I'm so glad you're considering therapy as a step toward your self-development. My name is Elijah, and I identify as a first-generation, queer Black man. Holding these identities has given me a deep understanding of the unique challenges that can come with seeking support for your mental health—especially when the process feels unfamiliar or overwhelming. Taking this step isn’t always easy, but it can be one of the most meaningful and empowering decisions you make. I specialize in working with high-performing individuals navigating depression, anxiety, and life transitions. I take your mental well-being seriously and stay up to date on evidence-based treatments and emerging tools. My goal is to integrate these strategies into our work in ways that help you feel confident, capable, and supported as you move toward lasting change. I approach therapy as a collaborative process—one where you feel seen, heard, and actively involved in your own growth. Depending on your needs, I draw from a range of treatment modalities to tailor our work together. If you're ready to start your journey toward a healthier, more grounded version of yourself, I'd be honored to support you along the way.

Deeply passionate about social justice and facilitating and guiding positive change and development in the lives of others, I am thrilled to connect with you as you begin your journey inward. Healing is truly the risk of showing up for yourself and your resistance to the temptation to go back to unsilenced needs, numbing out, disconnection, and erasure. As a Black, queer, non-binary, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Board Certified Diplomate (BCD) in Clinical Social Work, and Certified Sexuality Educator (CSE) with over 15 years of wide-ranging interdisciplinary experience in healing-centered and trauma-informed clinical practice, research, education, and servant leadership, I look forward to tailoring my approach to meet your needs and help you reach your goals.
