Hi! I'm a Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC) based in Massachusetts. I received my Masters from Westfield State University and have been practicing outpatient therapy for 5 years. I help child, adolescents and young adults struggling with self esteem, managing anger and impulses, anxiety, social skills and forming healthy friendships. Collaboratively I will support the development of healthy coping skills, increase positive thinking, form healthy relationships. I will support and guide my clients in forming and maintaining a healthy happier lifestyle.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, getting to know one another and taking the time to build a safe supportive trusting rapport. This may go beyond the first session, and I will provide the support needed to form a healthy collaborative therapeutic relationship

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I pride myself on being an active listener, reflecting and clarifying thoughts and emotions for a better understanding of what struggles you may have. I listen to goals you have for yourself and support and guide you to meeting those goals. I empathize with past and current experiences that may have contributed to your current mood. I value that a trusting positive relationship is critical to treatment.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with children, adolescents and adults who need support with managing anxiety, depression and social skills building. Guiding and empowering those who are struggling with adjusting to transitions and/or changes in their life. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. Clients are open to making the changes desired and implementing skills taught in sessions at home and in the community.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past five years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I have used mindfulness with my clients for the past four years. It is a psychological practice that involves paying attention to the present moment with non-judgmental awareness. Incorporates yoga, meditation and exercise into treatment. Clients will pay attention to thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and external surroundings without getting caught up in them. Together we will work on accepting thoughts and feelings as they arise without trying to change or suppress them. Implementing mindfulness in treatment will increase coping skills for anxiety and depression.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I have incorporated this theory with my practice to create a positive trusting rapport with my clients. It is client centered and non directed approach. You are the expert of your own life and with the use of empathy and unconditional positive regard to promote self-awareness and acceptance, fosters personal growth and well-being, improves self-esteem and confidence, reduces anxiety and depression, and enhances interpersonal relationships.
