Hi, I’m Dr. Josh Gonsher, a licensed clinical psychologist with a warm, down-to-earth approach to healing. I specialize in helping people navigate anxiety, worry, and stress—not by fighting their symptoms, but by creating a new internal landscape where those struggles no longer take center stage. My approach is grounded in Contextual Therapy. I don’t just help clients “fix” thoughts or behaviors—I work with them to build a more meaningful life, one where old patterns and problems naturally begin to lose their grip. It’s about shifting the frame, not just adjusting the picture. I offer a space that’s collaborative, gently challenging, and deeply respectful of your unique path. You don’t need to “have it all figured out”—just a willingness to begin. Whether you’re dealing with social anxiety, overthinking, burnout, or a general sense of feeling stuck, my goal is to help you move toward a version of life that you choose, one that often feels more grounded, spacious, and aligned with whom you truly are.

Over 20 years of experience guiding individuals and couples from struggle to strength. I trained at both Johns Hopkins psychiatry department and McGill university center for cognition and medicine. In recent years, I have specialized in working with clients struggling with mood disorders, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, cognitive disorders, eating disorders, weight management, and career-related challenges As a Cognitive Therapist, I believe that people have a choice: they can change their behavior, reframe their thought patterns, move forward, and regain hope. “If anxiety has been taking up more space in your life than you'd like, we can work together to understand what is driving it and build practical tools for responding differently. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is my foundation, and we'll look at the thoughts and habits that keep you stuck.” “Living with bipolar disorder or an eating disorder can feel isolating. I bring more than 20 years of experience to this work, and my goal is for you to feel safe being honest with me. I'm direct, and I'll always be upfront about what I see, with respect for where you are.” “In our first session, we'll talk through what brought you in and what you hope will change, and we'll begin shaping a plan together.”

Are you feeling overwhelmed or just plain stuck in life? I help people restructure their damaged relationships. Relationships are more than romantic interactions between two people. Hi! I am Alyson Davis, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am a millennial and military brat that grew up in Northern Virginia. Currently, I reside in Maryland and have licenses in both Maryland and Virginia. I am taking clients in both states via telehealth. For undergrad, I attended the University of Alabama (ROLL TIDE!) and for my graduate education and clinical training I practiced at Valdosta State University. The therapeutic modality I use the most often is Narrative Therapy. Using Narrative Therapy, I help clients change the problem stories in their heads to preferred stories to improve their behaviors, relationships, and life outlook. With this practice, I enjoy using journal prompts, metaphors, and media. I am not a trained Christian therapist, but I do identify as a Christian, and enjoy using all religion and spirituality in my practice, but it is not required. I am LGBTQ-IA+ affirming and believe in honoring and creating space for all identities in session. A personal joy of mine is working with Black clients who are first-timers in therapy to work on destigmatizing mental health and healing the impacts of white supremacy. More specifically, I prioritize supporting Black clients who grew up in predominantly White spaces who did not feel "Black enough." My favorite problem to work with is when someone says "I'm stuck," to help a client not only get moving but move in a healthy direction. In my personal life, I am married, am a mother to a sickle cell warrior son, have a wonderful bonus-daughter and playful Aussiedoodle. That being said, I have an appreciation for working with blended families and exploring dating post-divorce. For self-care I enjoy writing fiction, listening to 90's and 2000s R&B, and watching romcoms. Looking forward to helping your healing journey.

First of all, I love what I do and to witness the positive changes clients make in their lives as a result of choosing therapy to help them accomplish what they want. Often the goal is to achieve symptom relief so as to not be overwhelmed by anxiety, mood disorders or be better able to manage the challenges of ADHD. Sometimes there is not a specific outcome identified but a need for ongoing support for dealing with life transitions or difficult people. Sometimes clients use therapy as a confidential sounding board where they can talk to an objective outsider about situations and sort out their perspective. I offer various ways to see and respond to situations that might otherwise not be considered. Your opinion as a client is the most important one and I will also honestly provide mine when asked for. I believe therapy can actually be something that you can look forward to and an opportunity to learn new skills to use long after you discontinue, and we can even have some fun and laughs along the journey.

Listening to others' stories and supporting them in finding positive paths through challenges has always felt like a natural calling. Even as a child, friends would often reach out, and my mom would joke, "Is the doctor in?" Later on, this passion led to volunteering with kids in creative programs and working in hospice care, where deeper connections were formed. These experiences led to a rewarding role at an outpatient community clinic, where people from all walks of life could share their unique journeys and struggles. My work with clients have included helping those navigate stress, anxiety, mood disorders, and life transitions. The ideal clients are those who are open to exploring interventions and truly wish to understand themselves more deeply. Therapy is not about achieving perfection but rather finding new perspectives on who we are and how we engage with the world around us. Healing and personal growth rarely follow a straight path, and it's the patience and willingness to try that often make the difference in finding the right way forward.

With over 20 years of clinical experience, I have dedicated my career to walking alongside individuals through their healing and growth journeys, beginning as a child and adolescent therapist before expanding my practice to work with adolescents and adults. My approach is grounded in evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Trauma-Focused CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and my training as a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist, always adapted to honor each client's unique story and strengths. I believe deeply in advocacy; both as something I practice on behalf of my clients and as a critical skill I help them develop for themselves, because sustainable wellness requires individuals to have the tools, voice, and confidence to advocate for their own needs. Beyond the therapy room, I extend this commitment to advocacy through my consulting work, partnering with organizations to build psychologically safe, inclusive, and equity-driven environments where all people can thrive.

Hello, I’m Cherokee Cabell, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 15 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful changes. I work with adults ages 18 and older who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, or simply feeling stuck and unsure of what comes next. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can talk openly, gain a better understanding of yourself, develop practical coping skills, and work toward becoming the best version of yourself. I am the founder of Little Bits Counseling and Therapy and provide telehealth services to clients in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware. I earned my Master of Social Work from Rutgers University–Camden and am also a Certified Clinical Supervisor. In addition to providing therapy, I support the development of future professionals through clinical supervision, nursing preceptorship, and mentorship. I am also the published author of *Rain to Reign* and its companion workbook, which focus on breaking cycles, reclaiming your voice, healing from difficult experiences, and finding empowerment through adversity. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel uncomfortable, but you do not have to have everything figured out before you begin. We can start with where you are and work together toward where you want to be. PLEASE NOTE: Please schedule your first appointment at least 48 hours in advance to allow time to complete and return the required intake forms. This gives me an opportunity to review your information before we meet so that we can make the most of our first session.
