The one question I get most often by clients and peers is: Why did you go into the counseling profession? My response is always the same. First, I have always had a desire to help people in a time of need or distress. I have felt this way as far back as high school. Secondly, I went through a debilitating anxiety disorder in my mid-twenties. I know first-hand the helplessness and desperation mental and emotional pain causes. I never condone a therapist sharing with a client, they know how the client feels unless they themselves have experienced a similar type of pain. Lastly, I believe in the power of counseling and the benefits it can offer. Counseling is very different from medicine. Counseling requires the client to be actively involved in the process of healing and growth rather than taking medication and waiting for it to work. Counseling empowers a client to by allowing them to see their progress towards the life they desire on a daily, weekly, and even monthly basis.

I seek to help individuals and families grow strong roots by encouraging clients to explore and utilize resources in their communities including family, friends, and faith-based services. Hello, my name is Ginger Van Meter.
I look at each individual as an iceberg! There's a tiny piece of ice you can see on the surface but down below and much deeper is a giant piece of ice that no one can see. That giant piece of ice represents all the stressors, emotional and mental health concerns that go back many years. Sometimes childhood trauma or even current events can create problems that we just can't seem to solve.
I will help you to break that ice down and learn new skills to get relief from the symptoms that stand in the way of making life more manageable. I always strive to do the best I can do to provide relief and comfort and help life become more manageable.

The journey of life can bumpy, confusing, frustrating, and unpredictable. Hello, I'm Dr. Suzann O'Koon, a licensed psychologist with 30 years of experience.
I'm a mother and grandmother, who, at mid-life, returned to graduate school to pursue my the next step on my life journey. I had been an elementary school teacher, a community volunteer, and then a stay-at-home mom. I am sharing this with you because transitions and change can be difficult at times, and I've been there: done that!.
I’m a warm, down-to-earth therapist with more than 25 years of experience helping people navigate anxiety, trauma, relationships, grief, career and life transitions, and those seasons when life simply doesn’t look the way you thought it would. My approach is compassionate, practical, solution-focused, and collaborative. I’ll listen carefully and create a space where you can be completely yourself—but I’ll also ask thoughtful questions, offer honest feedback, help you recognize patterns, and give you practical tools you can actually use outside of therapy.
Life experience has shaped me just as much as education and professional training. I’ve been married to my HS sweetheart for more than four decades, raised three children, experienced loss and grief, navigated career changes, family challenges, parenting, marriage, aging, and the many unexpected chapters that come with building a life alongside the people you love. Those experiences have given me a deep appreciation for resilience, relationships, humor, and the fact that none of us gets through life without a few scars and stories!
My work is especially meaningful with adults and couples navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, parenting, first responder or military life, grief, major transitions, and questions about identity or purpose. I enjoy working with people who may appear capable and successful on the outside while privately feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck, or exhausted from holding everything together.
My therapy is holistic and individualized. Depending on what fits you, we may incorporate evidence-based approaches alongside mindfulness, humor, nature, animals, relationships, meaning and purpose, and faith or spirituality if that's valued.
I believe therapy should help you understand where you’ve been without keeping you there. Together, we’ll focus on healing what hurts, strengthening what already works, and helping you intentionally build a life and relationships that feel authentic, meaningful, and with any luck a little lighter.
I’m a therapist who keeps things real and meets people where they’re at. I work with adults dealing with trauma, stress, and life transitions, and my goal is to create a space where you can just be yourself without feeling judged.
I use a mix of approaches depending on what actually works for you—including EMDR, Client centered, CBT, DBT, or TF-CBT for trauma and an integrative mental health approach that looks at the whole picture, not just symptoms. That can mean talking through things, building practical coping skills, or exploring how your mind and body are connected.
I’m supportive, but also honest and direct when it matters. Therapy with me is a collaborative process—we figure things out together. My goal is to help you make sense of what you’ve been through, feel more grounded, and start moving forward in a way that actually feels meaningful to you.
Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety takes the wheel — but you don't have to stay stuck there. I'm Dionysia Okeh, LCPC, a trauma-informed therapist with 4 years of experience helping clients feel less anxious and more in control of their lives.

Together, we'll work through what's weighing on you and build practical tools that help you feel grounded, confident, and steady again.
Whether anxiety is showing up in your relationships, your work, or just your day-to-day peace of mind, I'm here to help you find your footing.
Ready to feel more in control? Book your first session with me today — I'd love to support you on this journey.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for ten years now. You will always know yourself better than I can or will.
From a philosophical and theoretical standpoint. I am overwhelming more of an attachment theorist, and have been known to use existentialism from time to time to help make sense of something. I guess the question that remains though is; can a butterfly flap it's wings in Brazil and cause a tornado in Kentucky, or are we all simply just products of our childhood and mirrors of our parents traumas?
The duality of life.
Attachment Theory vs. Chaos Theory. Both have value. I digress.
My goal is to provide a petridish in which you can explore your self. Safe. Contained. Yet completely in your control. The paradox being, you likely already have what you need. I'll sit with you while you find it. I can give you my clinical opinion, or diagnosis, and recommendations along the way as well if you'd like that. I can just sit and listen. I can play devils advocate. My job is to listen, empower, observe, and provide feedback when requested.

I received my Master of Social Work from the Carver School of Social Work at Campbellsville University in 2015 and have been providing therapy services since 2017. I have been trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy which is an eye movement modality that can help reduce or eliminate negative sensations in as little as one session. I strive to provide therapeutic care where each individual feels safe and secure in each session by creating a judgment-free atmosphere. My goal is to build mutual trust with each other and help you find your path to taking control back of your life and emotions.

Sometimes life can throw you a curveball and when it does, I’m here to help. My name is Carol Poston. I’ve been a Marriage and Family Therapist for over 11 years. I am an experienced EMDR therapist and have witnessed the power of that modality to transform the life of my clients. I have extensive experience with grief and loss with 8 years of experience as a hospice bereavement counselor and chaplain. I understand the importance of religious beliefs on personal development and growth.
My therapeutic style is shaped by my hospice experience. Every moment is critical. It’s not simply the case of making the most of each moment. It is indeed that this moment, this day, this session, is the most important. Being present and bearing witness to my client’s pain in this moment is what matters. In our sessions we manage the urgent but focus on what is most important.
