I'm Ken Markovic, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes healing happens through safety, curiosity, and genuine human connection. I work collaboratively with clients to help them understand their inner world, build practical tools for emotional regulation, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and sustainable. My approach is compassionate, integrative, and grounded in the belief that people already carry the wisdom they need — I am simply here to help them access it. In our sessions, you can expect a warm, non-judgmental space where we move at your pace and focus on what matters most to you. I have a deep passion for working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions. I also enjoy supporting clients who are working through identity, self-worth, and building more fulfilling relationships. No matter what brings you to therapy, my goal is to meet you exactly where you are.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy the spending time with friends and family, dog-walking and training, reading, Chicago sports, nature, and writing music. All of these help me stay grounded and remind me of the importance of connection — with self, and others.
Taking the first step toward therapy is not always easy, so give yourself some credit for being here. Let's work together to help you build the life you deserve!
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience supporting individuals through mental health challenges, trauma, addiction, and life transitions. As a Mexican and Filipino American woman, I bring a culturally informed approach that honors the impact of identity, community, and lived experience on healing.
I earned my Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in Mental Health from the Jane Addams College of Social Work, and have worked in a variety of settings, including residential care for addiction, outpatient addiction treatment facilities, and community mental health care.
My work is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and a deep respect for each person’s story. I draw from evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT, EMDR, mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapy while focusing on strengths and self-awareness. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or seeking clarity, my goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered.
You are valued.
Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) based in Illinois. I received my MA in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Illinois University and have practiced for over 25 years. I enjoy helping people find hope again when struggling with depression, trauma, and self-injury. Life is hard, and sometimes we need to know that someone out there believes in us and knows that we can heal.
My name is Rafiah Maxie-Cole, and I’m honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and wholeness. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over two decades of experience, I’ve supported individuals through a wide range of challenges—always with compassion, cultural awareness, and unwavering belief in their capacity to grow.
This work is personal. I understand the weight of grief and the complexity of emotional pain—having lost my son to suicide. That loss fuels my commitment to creating safe, affirming spaces where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. I don’t just offer tools—I offer presence, partnership, and hope.
My greatest strength lies in listening deeply and holding space without judgment. I honor each client’s unique story and walk with them as they uncover their strength, reclaim their voice, and move toward lasting change. You don’t have to do this alone. I look forward to meeting you soon.
I have several years of experience treating individuals, families, and adolescents using a holistic, empathic, and trauma-informed approach. Watching friends and family struggle with mental health and substance abuse issues fueled my passion for helping those who struggle with these difficulties from a place of understanding, patience, and empathy. I received a BA in psychology first, which led to obtaining a substance abuse certificate. I gained experience working with families and individuals and, after some time, I was ready to further my education and obtained a Master of Social Work. This helped me expand my clinical skills and learn more targeted therapy modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, psychoanalytical care, and art therapy. I found these approaches are a great synthesis of neuroscience, trauma, and creativity.

I’m Stef, a licensed clinical social worker and registered yoga teacher. My background spans multiple levels of care and a wide range of mental health issues. With training in both psychology and the mind–body connection, I help clients understand how stress and healing show up in thoughts, feelings, and the body.
I became a therapist because I know how overwhelming life can feel, especially when you’re expected to “handle it” all the time. Clients describe me as warm, approachable, and real, with a willingness to bring in humor when it’s needed.
I am a social worker with 25 years of experience supporting clients across the lifespan — from infants and their caregivers to older adults navigating later‑life challenges. My work is grounded in the belief that our thoughts are powerful drivers of our emotions and behaviors. When we learn to understand and reshape those thoughts, meaningful and lasting change becomes possible.
Using Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), I help clients harness the power of their thinking to influence how they feel and act in everyday situations. Many people have been taught to “just change their behavior,” and when that doesn’t work, they blame themselves. I guide clients toward a different approach — one that starts with the mind, not with willpower.
In our sessions, I use analogies, real‑life examples, and practical tools that clients can immediately apply. My goal is for every session to end with one new tool for their toolbox, something concrete they can practice between sessions. And while the work is meaningful, I believe it can also be engaging — even fun — as clients begin to see themselves and the world through a new, more empowering lens.

Hi! My name is Jacqueline Lizarazo, and I go by Jackie. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in therapy for individuals, children, and couples, with a focus on grief, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and sexual abuse.
Why Choose Me:
I want you to read the following passages:
On Abuse: “I lived in a glass house into which my mother could look at any time. In a glass house, however, you cannot conceal anything without giving yourself away, except by hiding it under the ground. And then you cannot see it yourself, either.”
On Depression: “Trees aren’t supposed to display fruit; they’re supposed to produce it. As much as I wanted to see results, I knew that I had to wait. The tree had to become healthy and mature before it could produce the fruit, and that takes time.”
If what you read resonates with you, this is the type of therapy I offer. I push, and sometimes might make you cry—not to harm, but for growth. I deeply care about my patients and only want the best for you.
I am not judgmental; I am here to listen and provide feedback. I often ask myself the question: if I were sitting where you are, would I come back? And the answer is yes. I give homework, so don’t expect it to be easy unless we need it to be. I am flexible, and my schedule is pretty open to fit your needs.
We’re going to have days where we just catch up and talk about what happened that week but be prepared to talk about your past. I believe together we can grow into the person you want to be.

As a therapist, I believe in a systemic approach, understanding that we all operate in an intricate web of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and how they relate to others around us. Hi I'm Gaby. If you have been feeling sick and stuck in a negative thought process and wondering if there is anyone who can understand or help you, let's talk. I am here to help you experience change and escape from the pattern of life that has left you feeling different, unwell, and stuck.
I am first and foremost a Trauma Informed Recovery Therapist. This means that I believe in you and I believe in your goals and I know we can find a way to get there while acknowledging all that you have been through. I realized I wanted to become a therapist during a serendipitous summer camp experience—40 feet in the air on the high ropes course, I learned that I loved helping people process challenging experiences in creative ways. I love using a lot of different approaches depending on what we are working on. Some of my favorite methods are cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, strength based therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.
I have been doing individual therapy with teens and adults of all ages since 2020. Previously, I worked as a clinical consultant, clinical director, and clinical supervisor in specialized mental health rehabilitation settings. I have been supporting people in creating and meeting their goals since 2012. I have used all of my past work experiences to learn how to work with clients to explore dreams, and strengths, and learn how to make these things their reality. I use eclectic strategies to support people as they sort through their lives and figure out ways to move forward in a new light.
I believe that therapy is a special space that allows a person to sit, process, and problem-solve in a way that can’t always be done in day-to-day.
