I specialize in helping teens and adults work on symptoms of depression, anxiety, self-harming behaviors, life stressors, and life transitions. My goal as a therapist is to be open, honest, genuine. I will provide unconditional positive regard. I love mixing talk therapy with things you can use daily to improve your view of yourself and your life. Hello, and welcome to my site! I am Elena, a trilingual Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) from Atlanta, Georgia, and have been practicing since 2013. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Brenau University. For the past decade I worked with incarcerated teens (and on probation, or in community) helping them approach problematic behaviors and improve these by avoiding future incarcerations. I serve pre-teens/adolescents 12-17 years old, young adults ages 18-25, and adults up to 60 by assisting them solve problems they cannot readily solve themselves. During our sessions we address issues such as depression, anxiety, family conflict, trauma, relationships, and anger management, among many other issues that might led to delinquency. My specialty is treating individuals with difficulties effectively communicating their needs within their relationships with parents, siblings, relatives, friends, etc., with an emphasis on assertiveness training for building and nurturing long-lasting interpersonal relationships. There is no one size fits all approach to therapy, so I like to tailor my approach to fit my client's unique needs. Here are a few of the clinical theories I use to guide my practice: Reality Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Treatment, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

I have a heart for working with people as they find their way through difficult life transitions such as relationship challenges, work stressors, health issues, etc. When these core aspects of our lives change, we can feel confused, anxious, depressed, and unsure of our roles and identities. We grieve what we have lost and are uncertain of what lies ahead. Filtering out the noise of the outside world and listening to one's inner self helps you stay centered so you can make choices that align with your core values. As a certified EMDR therapist, I help people process trauma so they can stop feeling stuck and can move forward in their lives. I also use depth (Jungian) psychology to help people explore their inner worlds to reveal hidden fears, beliefs, shadow parts, dreams and creative impulses that lie under the surface of our conscious awareness. When brought to the light of consciousness, they can enrich our lives with insights and revelations that can help us realign with our core Self. I love working with those from minority groups who may not identify with the larger culture or fit into society’s categories, and are struggling with issues concerning identity, belonging, self-worth, cultural expectations and finding a sense of self in this complex and changing world. Therapy can help us find clarity and stability through change as we focus on what really matters.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is passionate about being a therapist and actually feels called to it. I believe that we all deserve to live a meaningful and fulfilled life, where we feel ACCEPTED, HEARD, SEEN, CARED FOR, and VALUED. I have a genuine interest about people… about how we became the people that we are, who and what influenced are decisions, what we believe, and how they contribute to the ways we think, feel and behave. I am zealous about helping people know and appreciate who they really are, and not just what people and experiences have conditioned them to believe they should be. My main areas of focus are on Anxiety, Attachment Issues, Self-Worth and Trauma where I infuse a mixture of CBT, EMDR, Inner Child, Parts Works and Reality therapy in our sessions to achieve your goals in therapy. However, the greatest help I provide is giving you different perspectives and insight that you may have not been considered before, which in turn may change the way you feel and think about the situation. It is my hope that after understanding how your past has shaped how you view your current circumstances, and presses on your future, that you can heal from it and move forward. My Christian faith is also a big part of who I am and how I view the world. For those interested in incorporating Christian counseling in sessions this can be an amazing way to grow your faith, and help to reestablish your belief in God and how He sees you. I understand that not everyone feels or believes the way I do, and that is perfectly fine. Being a Christian is not a requirement to meet with me, nor does it have to influence our sessions unless desired.

I believe that seeking therapy is an act of courage and self-love. Choosing to care for yourself in this way is a meaningful step, even when it feels challenging. I see therapy as a collaborative process. You bring your experience, and I bring guidance, skills, and support. The work we do together is about understanding yourself more fully, finding ways to navigate life’s challenges with confidence, and creating lasting change that feels authentic and meaningful to you. Therapy can help you feel better, build resilience, and cultivate a deeper, more compassionate connection with yourself and others. In our work together, we’ll explore how your past experiences, relationships, cultural background, and life patterns influence how you feel and show up in the world. I pay attention to how your body, emotions, and the social and gendered aspects of your life play a role, helping you connect mind and body while gaining insight into what drives your patterns.

Hi, I'm Ashley, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Reiki II practitioner. I believe that somewhere underneath the anxiety, the self-doubt, and the patterns that keep repeating, there is a version of you that already knows the way. My job isn't to fix you. It's to create a space steady enough that you can actually hear yourself. Together we get curious about the thoughts that won't quiet down, the emotions that feel bigger than the moment, the behaviors that keep showing up even when you don't want them to, and what all of it is actually trying to tell you. I utilize a holistic approach, bringing tools into our work that help you understand what's happening in your mind and body when you're overwhelmed, so you can actually do something about it instead of just surviving it. But more than any method or modality, I show up as a real person walking alongside you, trusting that you are the expert on your own life. If you're ready to listen to that wiser part of yourself and create meaningful change, I'd be honored to walk with you.

I'm Jeff, an LCSW and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), and I founded Rogue Sun Counseling & Consulting to work with adults navigating trauma, substance use, or both. Before launching this practice, I served as Clinical Director at a residential addiction treatment center and later as Executive Director at two wellness centers, where I oversaw clinical programming for hundreds of clients working through substance use disorders, trauma, and the broader mental health challenges that often accompany both. That experience shaped how I practice now: I don't assume every client's story fits a single mold. Some clients come to me specifically for trauma, with no history of substance use at all. Others are focused entirely on changing their relationship with alcohol or drugs, with no significant trauma history to speak of. And some are working through both, where one has clearly fed into the other. My job is to figure out how I can best meet you where you are, drawing on years of leadership in addiction treatment alongside trauma-focused clinical work, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach to every person who walks through the door.

I believe that healing and growth doesn't require perfection-it begins with curiosity. Therapy can be a place where you slow down, make sense of your experiences, and begin taking steps towards your best possible self. Having had a natural curiosity most of my life, I bring that aspect into my therapy work with clients. Don't worry, you will not be bombarded with 1001 questions, but a gentle form of interest, drives my work.

My role is to help you understand the why, and ultimately the how: how to shift it, heal it, overcome it, or, when appropriate, let it go altogether. Your first session is best described as a two-way interview. As I listen to your story and your narrative begins to take shape, we collaboratively determine two things: Whether I am the right therapist for you, and Whether this therapeutic relationship is the right fit for both of us. If we decide to move forward together, identifying your goals becomes your first assignment. This process allows me to better understand how you think, how you interpret challenges, and how barriers such as stress, anxiety, depression, or relationship dynamics show up for you. From there, we focus on one goal at a time. I see myself as your coach, teammate, and cheerleader! Whether you are just beginning therapy or have been on this journey for some time, I invite you to plant that seed—and see just how beautifully you grow.

Hi, I'm Natalie, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia, with nearly a decade of experience supporting individuals through life's challenges and transitions. My approach is compassionate- yet still gently challenging, collaborative and individualized because I know that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationships, life transitions, self-esteem, stress, or simply feeling stuck, I'm here to help you better understand yourself, your patterns, and move forward in your next steps.

I believe the best therapy happens through honest conversation and collaboration. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself while helping you build practical skills that create meaningful change. My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I value authenticity and often keep an informal tone when it helps clients feel more at ease. Rather than telling you what to do, I work alongside you to better understand what's keeping you stuck and help you discover solutions that fit your life, values, and goals. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, and psychoeducation. I believe that understanding why our minds and bodies respond the way they do can make change feel less overwhelming and more achievable. I'll help you develop practical tools while offering support, encouragement, and a little perspective along the way. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed, I'll meet you where you are. Together, we'll identify your strengths, build resilience, and create a path forward that feels realistic and sustainable. You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy, you just have to be willing to take the first step.

I’m Dr. Lolade Bakrin, a Licensed Professional Counselor and counselor educator who is passionate about helping clients better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges, and create meaningful change. I strive to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel comfortable showing up as their authentic selves. My therapeutic approach is primarily grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while also incorporating person-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive practices. I work with teens, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, emotional regulation challenges, identity concerns, relationship difficulties, and everyday stress. I believe therapy should be collaborative and practical. Together, we’ll explore the connection between your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and experiences, and develop strategies you can use beyond the therapy room. I also recognize that everyone’s experiences are shaped by their unique identities, relationships, environments, and life experiences, so I tailor treatment to the individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and challenged in ways that encourage greater self-awareness, confidence, and lasting growth.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Life Coach and I've been in practice for 17 years. Seeking therapy takes courage and personal growth begins when one is willing to take the first step towards change. Do you avoid conflict with others? Do you struggle to set boundaries with others? Do you experience manipulation and gaslighting in your relationships and wonder what is going on? It's not you. I assist clients who are healing from narcissistic abuse within intimate relationships and/or with family of origin. I partner with clients experiencing stress in relationships due to betrayal, infidelity, codependency, boundary issues and manipulation. I also work with clients in recovery from substance abuse and clients struggling to manage anger, anxiety, depression, work stress and life transitions. I meet clients where they are on their journeys and partner with them to solve their problems and move forward. If you're here, you've already taken the first step.

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
