I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience. I am very compassionate, non-judgmental and believe in working in a collaborative way. I am committed to helping you explore your thought patterns in effort to make positive life changes. I believe that you determine your destiny and are the artist of your life. It will be an honor to walk alongside and assist you in making positive life changes.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session will include beginning to get to know each other. I would like to hear what motivates you to begin therapy and what you are hoping to accomplish. I would like you to ask any questions you may have about my approach. We will begin to explore your concerns and consider ways to move forward.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strength is the ability to listen in a non-judgmental way and to offer a compassionate, safe space for exploration. I explore strengths and help you to utilize your strengths in problem solving. We will work together to build new skills.

I enjoy collaborating with individuals that know they want to make positive changes but are not sure how to do so. They take ownership of life choices and are open to new possibilities. They are motivated and committed to doing the work needed to make different choices.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I utilize a variety of modalities in facilitating therapy. I have used cognitive behavioral therapy for the last 15 years of therapy practice. I have found this to be a very effective method to help individuals challenge their thoughts and make positive life changes. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, goal-oriented psychotherapy that helps individuals identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors, effectively treating various mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.
