At The Listening Room, we provide structured, goal-oriented therapy for individuals, families, and court-ordered referrals. Our approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), family-based interventions, and individual counseling to address a range of concerns—including anxiety, stress, relational issues, and behavioral challenges.
Sessions are focused and collaborative, with most clients beginning to report noticeable progress within 6–7 sessions. Whether you’re navigating personal challenges, family conflict, or mandated treatment, we offer a professional, supportive space where growth and healing can take place.
For those interested in in-person sessions, these are available by appointment only. Before meeting in person, we first conduct three initial assessments to understand your needs and develop a tailored treatment plan—ensuring your time with us is purposeful and productive.
To make therapy more accessible, we’ve partnered with Grow Therapy, a trusted platform that manages insurance billing and referrals. While The Listening Room LLC is independently owned and operated, Grow Therapy helps streamline access to care by handling the administrative side—so we can focus on delivering quality mental health services and truly listening to you.

If you’ve spent your life holding the line — for your family, your community, your country — you know what it means to keep showing up even when it costs you. Whether you wear a uniform, lead from behind the scenes, or simply hold things together for everyone else, the weight you carry is real.
We live in a world that feels divided. Every headline, every conversation, can become a reminder of how far apart people seem. For many trauma survivors — and especially for first responders, police officers, firefighters, and paramedics — this division can deepen old wounds. The noise, the criticism, the lack of understanding from those who’ve never walked in your shoes can leave you feeling unseen and disconnected.
Therapy shouldn’t be another place where you feel judged or misunderstood. My work is grounded in respect — for who you are, what you believe, and what you’ve endured. I work with people from all political backgrounds and walks of life who’ve faced trauma, burnout, and the invisible injuries that come from witnessing too much for too long.
Through gentle, evidence-based approaches like Brainspotting, we create space for your body and mind to release what’s been stored — without forcing words or reliving trauma. You don’t have to choose a side to heal. You don’t have to explain why you’re tired, angry, or numb. You just have to show up as you are.
Healing is not weakness. It’s strength. It’s the courage to reclaim your peace, even in a world that keeps asking you to stay in survival mode. You’ve served others long enough. Now, it’s time to come home to yourself.
Are you wondering if your drug or alcohol use is becoming a problem? Do you know that it is a problem, but cannot seem to control it? I am experienced in working with a range of substance use issues, from mild to severe, as well as process or behavioral addictions, such as addictions to sex, shopping, pornography, food, and people. Effective psychotherapy can include helping limit your use and minimize its consequences, or complete abstinence, and an assessment if medication such as Suboxone, Methadone, or Vivitrol is right for you.
