Everyone thinks you have it together.
You show up for work. You take care of your family. You handle what needs to be done. Yet underneath it all, you’re exhausted. You find yourself overthinking, worrying about everyone else, feeling disconnected from who you used to be, or wondering why life feels so much harder than it should.
Maybe you’ve spent so much time being strong for everyone else that you’ve forgotten what you need.
If this sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
For over 23 years, I’ve helped adults navigate anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the overwhelming pressure of trying to hold everything together. My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. Together, we’ll identify the patterns keeping you stuck, develop effective coping strategies, and help you reconnect with yourself so life feels more manageable and meaningful again.
Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating. Sometimes it begins with one conversation and the decision to stop carrying everything alone.

Hi there! I'm Dorian.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida - a Jax native with a recent move south to the Space Coast. I received my Masters of Social Work from Florida State University in 2014 focusing on clinical social work.
I approach therapy with flexibility and adaptability, focusing on what will best align with you, the client. But, of note, I do so very casually, honestly, conversationally, and course, hilariously (the latter, though subjective, has been confirmed. By me.) . Opening yourself up to therapy can be intimidating! A bit scary! But there's no requirement stating you must dread it.
Through my views on mental health, self help, and all kinds of therapy - combined with, well, my personality - it seems that I've become adept at a sort of "stealth therapy." Admittedly self-defined, I'd best explain this by saying that sessions are conversational, instead of a "traditional" therapist-role to client-role back and forth.
Just kidding. But, I approach therapy in a way I . I don't speak in riddles, and I won't pretend that I know you better than you know you. I listen, I hear your words -- your input has value and I will never dismiss you or your concerns.

Welcome! I know how hard it can be to reach out for support. If you're here, I want you to know that you're not alone and you don't have to figure everything out by yourself. I'm someone who believes in the power of feeling seen, heard, and understood. I believe that therapy should feel like a real conversation where you can breathe, think, and be real, not a clinical checklist. I believe you deserve a space where you don't have to pretend, perform, or be "put together". Therapy with me is about helping you feel safe enough to be your real, unfiltered self. The parts that feel strong and the parts that feel messy. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida and for over 6 years I've helped adolescents and adults navigate anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. A lot of the people that I work with are tired of wearing masks- the "strong one", the "fun one", the "reliable one". Underneath, they feel overwhelmed, anxious, numb, or disconnected from who they used to be. I help create a space where you can take those masks off without fear. You don't have to know the right words. You don't have to have everything figured out. You just have to show up as you are. Together, we'll work through what you're carrying and build tools that feel realistic and fit your real life. If you're tired of pretending and ready for a space where you can just be real, I'd love to support you.
*Currently accepting new clients for individual therapy only. Couples and family therapy are no longer being offered through this platform. *
I believe therapy should be a space where you can be honest about what you're experiencing without feeling judged, rushed, or pressured to have everything figured out.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, burnout, and difficulties with self-esteem. My approach is direct, compassionate, and practical. We won't just talk about what's happening in your life; we'll work to understand the patterns keeping you stuck and develop tools to help you move forward.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 20 years of experience in behavioral health, I bring a systems-oriented perspective to individual therapy. I help clients explore how their relationships, upbringing, experiences, and beliefs influence the way they see themselves and interact with others.
Whether you're struggling to establish boundaries, feeling disconnected from yourself, processing a difficult relationship, or simply tired of carrying everything alone, our work will focus on helping you build emotional clarity, confidence, and healthier ways of navigating life.

I have personally conquered Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, Major Depression, Anxiety, OCD, CPTSD, Addictions of Gambling, Sex, Cars, and Weed, Codependency, Divorce, Custody, and Parenting Issues.
I have the ability to mend relationships, as I have brought my relationship with my wife from shambles to diamonds, and our "ship" is still moving North in the direction we both want, despite our differences and disagreements along the way. There is no more all-or-nothing thinking or engagement in back-and-forth arguments or break-ups; instead, there is peace, love, cooling off, and acceptance of our different attachment styles, love languages, personalities, and brain designs.
I am 6 years and 9 months sober from marijuana (December 30, 2019), and sober from the addictions of gambling, sex, and buying expensive cars beyond my means.
I firmly believe we learn something new or reinforce a life lesson every day.
Personal and Professional Growth equates to extra Health, Happiness, and Longevity.
I have 9-year-old fraternal twin boys, 2 stepchildren, ages 25 and 26, two cats and two dogs, a wife, and a mother-in-law.
