I am a multiracial, transracially adopted woman, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). My lived experience gives me a deep understanding of what it means to hold complex identities, and it shapes how I show up, with empathy, openness, and compassion. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, I meet you where you are, and together we co-create a safe and supportive space for your healing. My approach is relational, holistic, and grounded in connection, helping you feel seen, understood, and empowered in your journey.

Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker with 4 years of experience as a therapist I have experience in helping clients across the lifespan with stress and anxiety, trauma and abuse, anger management, motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. I became a therapist to help people find healing, peace, confidence and fulfillment. One of my mentors described being a therapist as being a Sherpa-a guide through the wilderness of life, and I love that metaphor. Whatever your peak looks like, I want to help you get there.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, birth doula, yoga teacher, and professor with a passion for walking alongside people through life’s most complex seasons. My work is rooted in compassion, evidence-based practice, and a belief that healing involves the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. In my practice, I specialize in reproductive and perinatal mental health, trauma recovery, and supporting individuals and couples navigating infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, loss, and life transitions. I also work with clients facing chronic illness and the lingering impact of stress and anxiety. My integrative approach may include traditional talk therapy, mindfulness, yoga-based techniques, and psychoeducation, tailored to fit your unique needs and goals. Clients often describe me as calm, supportive, and practical. I believe therapy should feel like a safe place where you don’t have to “have it all together.” Instead, you’ll find space to process honestly, learn effective tools, and build resilience. Whether you are seeking short-term support or long-term healing, we’ll work together at your pace to create meaningful change. Beyond the therapy room, I teach and mentor future social workers, which keeps me grounded in both current research and real-world practice. My experience as a doula and yoga teacher allows me to bring a holistic, nurturing lens to therapy that honors your strengths while addressing challenges. Above all, I want you to know: you don’t have to walk this path alone. Healing is possible, and I would be honored to support you in finding your way forward.

Frequently asked questions

Why filter by state rather than a city?

When looking for online therapy, you can see anyone that is credentialed in the state. We want you to find the best fit, therefore, Grow Therapy shows available therapists across the entire state. If you’d rather see someone in-person, you can change the filter from virtual and find a therapist near your address.

Will my therapist take insurance?

When booking you’ll be asked to verify with your Member ID. However, if you don’t have any of the insurances available you can select cash. Our therapists will have their cost of appointment on their profile. Individual session costs will vary.

How does the Specialty Filter work? Can I find a therapist that focuses on a specific issue?

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Why use Gender, Age, and Identities filters?

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

What happens during the first therapy session?

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
