I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change. My role as a therapist is to provide a supportive, collaborative space where you can better understand yourself, navigate life's challenges, and move toward the life you want to create. I work with individual adults in Colorado and Hawaii who are experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship changes, infertility, career decisions, stress, or simply feeling stuck. Sometimes clients come to therapy because of a specific event, while others have a general sense that something isn't working anymore. Wherever you're starting, we'll work together to identify your strengths, understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools for lasting change. My approach combines evidence-based psychotherapy with a whole-person perspective. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, and person-centered counseling while tailoring each session to your individual needs and goals. I believe emotional wellness is influenced by every part of our lives, and therapy should honor the unique experiences, values, and strengths that each person brings into the room. Whether you're looking for support through a difficult season or seeking greater purpose, balance, and fulfillment, I strive to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered.

Hi there, I'm Alicia. Are you feeling lost or stuck in some aspect of your life and finding it hard to move forward? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? With your permission, I help to hold the container for deeper exploration and healing. I am a trauma-focused therapist, certified in EMDR and trained in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. I’m originally from Southern California, the traditional homelands of the Tongva (Gabrielino) and Chumash peoples, and I’m now based in Colorado, on the ancestral lands of the Arapaho, Ute, and Cheyenne peoples. I offer virtual individual therapy to clients in both states. I believe that each of us possesses an internal source of wisdom that can be cultivated through psychotherapy, psychedelic medicines, meditation practices, yoga and other connecting practices that link the brain, body and spirit. My therapeutic approach is grounded in mindfulness, compassion, curiosity, and respect. I often draw from concepts rooted in Buddhist psychology and contemplative traditions. I frequently incorporate EMDR as an evidence-based method for working with both acute and developmental trauma, along with parts work (IFS). I am attentive to the impact of a person’s social, physical, and cultural environment, as well as systems of oppression. Clients describe my approach as warm, relational, collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I cannot do the work for you, but I can help you along the way, and it is truly an honor and a joy for me.

I am a therapist that enjoys using client centered strategies to help clients better understand themselves and how they exist in the world around them. When I look at my journey through life, I have found that some of the greatest changes I have made were through conversations with others who helped me to see the world from a lens of choice. I have learned over the years that choice relates to actions, that in turn influence dynamics of empowerment and advocacy. Empowerment, advocacy, and perseverance are terms easy to grasp by definition, but much more difficult to follow through with in our day to day experiences. I believe that healing and growth really begin to set in when decisions are made to accept the current reality of ones life and then further commit to strategically apply necessary changes. Over time, I have noticed that therapy often can help people (myself included) gain a greater sense of self efficacy and self confidence, especially when we learn how powerful our thoughts and actions can be! In other words, it is ok if there are things happening in our day that we would rather not go through, however we also have a choice in how we respond in that day. I value the importance of a healthy and healing therapeutic relationship! I also value the process of exploring how trust and hope participate towards how we experience the world.

Do you often see patterns in your life that you would like to change ,yet still repeat them? Counseling sessions will provide the support and guidance to understand and release emotions that keep you stuck. Relationships are key, whether it be your relationship with yourself, your partner, family member or friends, you will be able to develop self awareness and understanding of the influence of family culture and dynamics. Over 30 years as a therapist, I have worked in a variety of settings , with a wide spectrum of ages and cultures . This experience has deepened my respect for each individual's journey and the influence of their family beliefs. I help clients to acknowledge these beliefs and gradually transform and expand them to enhance rather than limit their lives. I have enjoyed working with children and adolescents and bring this experience with me , yet I am currently working primarily with adults which includes a special enjoyment to help couples to successfully transform limiting patterns and develop clear communication and listening skills. I have learned so much about life transitions through my work with trauma, hospice, death and dying, treatment foster care, eating disorders and liaison work with educational and community. These experience have strengthen my belief in human resiliency. All of the sessions are remote and I provide a phone call prior to beginning sessions where you will be able to ask questions to see if we are a good "fit" to work together.

It can feel like addiction is writing your story, but it doesn't have to! We all have the strength to learn how to work with our brain and not let it have all the control. My goal is to help you hone the skills needed to find that strength and to help begin writing the story of the life that you have always envisioned for yourself. Using skills from DBT, Attachment Theory, Nervous System Training, and Solution Focused therapy I make it my goal to help people navigate the stressors that come with life whether big or small. Hello, I'm Cheryl. I believe healing is most effective when we care for the whole person—mind and body together. After more than two decades as a counselor, I returned to school to become a Nurse Practitioner so I could provide more comprehensive care. Today, I combine both perspectives to help people find lasting improvements in their mental and emotional well-being. My background allows me to look at the bigger picture. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, sleep concerns, the emotional impact of a medical condition, or navigating a difficult life transition, we'll work together to understand what is contributing to your symptoms and develop a treatment plan that fits your goals, values, and lifestyle. I believe every person deserves to be treated with respect, compassion, and genuine curiosity. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor each session to your individual needs. My work draws from evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, psychodynamic principles, and other therapeutic approaches when appropriate. The goal isn't to fit you into a particular treatment model—it's to find what works best for you.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, past trauma, and co-occurring substance use, especially those who want to better understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. I’m particularly well-suited for clients who are motivated for change—even if they’re unsure where to begin—and are open to a collaborative, skills-based approach to therapy. In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, such as catastrophizing or all-or-nothing thinking, and replace them with more balanced, realistic perspectives. I incorporate techniques like cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and practical skill-building to support lasting change. I also utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based approach that helps clients process traumatic experiences and reduce the emotional distress tied to those memories. This approach has been especially effective in helping clients experiencing trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and substance use challenges achieve meaningful, lasting relief.

My passion for this work spans over 6 years in the mental health and substance abuse field, and it is deeply rooted in my own personal journey with addiction and mental health recovery. This lived experience gives me a deeply empathetic, real-world perspective on the hurdles you face. I am living proof that everyone deserves quality mental health support, and that it is entirely possible to discover vital, healthy new ways of living. I work best with adult clients who are ready to navigate complex situations, find clarity, and transition into a healthier, more peaceful lifestyle. As a licensed clinical social worker, I am committed to collecting evidenced based "tools for my toolbox" to aid those grappling with finding the new normal after their world has shifted. I most love helping people find language to describe their losses, often when there has been difficulty finding the words, inspiring people to find hope again, and facilitate the development of a plan to move forward in a way that both honors their experiences and embraces the future. I take an action-oriented, collaborative approach to therapy. I utilize a combination of psychoeducation, storytelling, and evidenced-based interventions to offer meaningful insight to support clients’ healing. I strongly believe that rock bottom is the foundation upon which we can rebuild our lives. We do regular check-ins to review progress along the way. Our goal is not to change the past, but instead to find some relief from symptoms that impact daily functioning. I will solicit feedback regularly during sessions for takeaways to gauge progress and curate treatment interventions based on what is most engaging and productive for the individual client.

Clients often tell me they appreciate that I am warm, direct, and genuine. Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and sometimes includes humor when it helps. My background in both mental health and yoga informs the way I work. With over 5 years of counseling experience—including years as a school counselor and now running my own telehealth practice—I've learned that the best therapy happens when you feel truly seen and genuinely challenged to grow. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been providing mental health services since 2013. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of New England and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Wyoming. Throughout my career, I've worked with individuals who have experienced trauma, and I'm passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves and their strength. I also work closely with parents to build more structure and consistency in their homes, while supporting their own mental health growth. I started out working in the homes and communities of my clients through an intensive program, working with the families of children who were at risk for out of home placement, such as residential treatment or psychiatric hospitalization. This program was a 6 month therapeutic intervention, helping parents to better understand their children's needs, as well as helping children develop regulatory skills to help them be more successful, in their homes and communities. I provide virtual outpatient therapy to Colorado residents, working with individuals aged 15 and up who are struggling with daily functioning and searching for their true, authentic selves. My approach blends evidence-based methods, tailored to support you through distress and toward healing. I believe in meeting you exactly where you are, without judgment, and building a path forward together at a pace that feels right for you.

Welcome! I’m Marianne, a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Taking the step to start therapy can feel empowering, confusing, or a bit scary all at once. Because of that, my top priority is to provide a warm, relaxed, and completely judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are. I want you to know that I have a lot of deep empathy for people going through hard times because I have been there myself. I get how heavy and overwhelming life can feel, and I know firsthand what it takes to find your way through the dark. You truly do not have to carry it all alone. I am right here for you. Whether you are navigating daily anxiety, processing grief, or working through acute trauma, we will navigate it as a collaborative team. I lean on proven, practical tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to help you find real relief and feel more grounded. My goal is to always provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed care that moves at a pace that feels safe and right for you. I am here whenever you are ready to share—let's take that next step together.

I am a mental health therapist dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the stressors that come with everyday responsibilities. I believe therapy should feel like a safe, collaborative space where you can show up exactly as you are — without judgment. My approach is warm, supportive, and grounded in helping you build practical tools you can use in your daily life. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that helps identify how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we work to recognize unhelpful thought patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful, sustainable change. I also understand that therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I tailor treatment to each person’s unique experiences, needs, and goals. As a first-generation Latina, I have a deep appreciation for how culture, family expectations, and lived experiences shape how we see ourselves and move through the world. I strive to create a space where cultural identity is respected and understood, and where clients can openly explore how these influences impact their mental health and relationships. My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and equipped with tools that help you move toward the life you want. Seeking therapy can feel like a big step, and I am honored to be part of that journey with you. Please note that I do not provide treatment for eating disorders, substance use disorders (including alcohol), or any court-mandated cases. Please note that I do not fill out FMLA paperwork, ESA paperwork, or any other legal documents unless 6 months of consistent therapy has been received. There is a separate fee for paperwork outside of the copay.

I am a Colorado and South Carolina Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with extensive experience working with: individuals in the midst of grief and other major phase-of-life transitions like divorce, job loss, legal challenges, etc.; teenagers who are struggling with a variety of mental health challenges; couples and families that are struggling to find common ground; and fractured families prior to, during, and after divorce. Building strong families, even through divorce or custody battles, incarceration, or other prolonged periods of estrangement, is a particular area of focus for me. I offer reintegration therapy services for parents and children who have experienced short- and long-term separation or alienation. I love working with families who want to find a way to function better post-divorce. In addition, I spent a decade working for the Alzheimer's Association, which included counseling individuals and families who were facing a diagnosis of dementia. Prior to venturing into the counseling field, I ran a non-profit that operated a 100-bed homeless shelter, a family transitional housing program, and an eight-unit supportive housing project for Veterans. I have a heart for working with military veterans and their families -- having 22 years of service in the US Air Force myself. I served on Active Duty for 6 years, and after a break in service, completed another 16 years as a Reservist. My spouse served alongside me, with each of us deploying twice. Our son is currently serving as well. Therefore, I have been the deployed service member, the spouse left to manage things back home, and the mom watching her "baby" deploy to far-off places. There is almost no part of military service I do not understand through first-hand experience.
