While my professional background includes family and relationship therapy, my current focus is working with individuals, helping each person navigate their unique journey toward healing, personal growth, and emotional well-being.

Life's difficulties are a natural part of the human experience. At times, individuals may feel isolated in their struggles or believe that no one truly understands what they are going through. These thoughts can contribute to anxiety, depression, substance use, and other challenges that impact relationships, work, and overall quality of life. When left unaddressed, these difficulties can become overwhelming and interfere with one's ability to move forward.
I believe that meaningful change is possible through a compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based therapeutic approach. My goal is to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients can gain insight, build effective coping skills, strengthen resilience, and develop healthier ways of managing life's challenges. Together, we can work toward healing, personal wellness, and lasting positive change.
In addition to my Psychological Therapy license, I hold specialties certifications in Drug and Alcohol addiction, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Sex Addiction, Trauma and Domestic Violence prevention.

Most importantly, I want you to know that I strive to create a safe, positive, and non-judgmental environment, where we can build a strong foundation of trust. It is within this trustful therapeutic relationship that we can explore the deeper layers of your psyche and support your path toward well-being.

Couples: I am TAKING Couples again. However only on Cash Pay basis. This is how it will work: You can schedule with me an hour consultation, you don't both have to be present, for this Consultation. From there we will meet 5 to 6 times for 1.5 hour sessions. It is very difficult to have Couples sessions within 60 min. The Cash pay is $300.00 for the 1.5 hour sessions. I understand the cost can be a deterrent in seeking help, however if you are both committed to doing the work 5 to 6 sessions should be productive and enough to see changes.
Individuals: Of course I am still taking individuals that are or are not in a relationship and need help. We were never taught how to be in a relationship of any kind. Yes there are tons of books of how to, however to put them to practical use can be very difficult. This can also relate to a relationship with a family member, friends or co-workers.
I am here to help with coping strategies for anxiety and depression symptoms or learning how to communicate more effectively with others.
For Clients that are insured by Kaiser: I will be confirming your appointment 48 hours before the appointment by email, please email me back with a confirmation. If you do not respond to my email I will cancel the appointment. I am sorry to have to do this, however I have had an excessive amount of no shows. Thank you for understanding.

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with a PhD and almost 20 years of clinical experience working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, burnout, and addictive patterns. My approach is integrative, relational, and strengths-based, but what distinguishes my work is the combination of deep exploration with practical change. I help clients understand not only what they are feeling, but why certain patterns keep repeating across relationships, work, family, and major life decisions, and what can be done differently.
I work especially well with adults who may already have insight into their struggles but still feel caught in overthinking, perfectionism, people-pleasing, emotional disconnection, or difficult relationship patterns. Therapy with me is collaborative and active: we may explore family-of-origin dynamics, attachment, identity, trauma, and longstanding beliefs while also building concrete tools for emotional regulation, communication, boundaries, and decision-making. The goal is not simply to reduce symptoms, but to help you develop greater self-trust, flexibility, and the ability to live and relate in ways that feel more authentic and intentional.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) who is bilingual in Spanish and English, with a primary focus on conducting therapy in Spanish.

I wholeheartedly believe in the transformative power of therapy and the potential it holds for individuals to become the best versions of themselves.

Congratulations for taking the step to seek counseling. The world we live in is increasingly complex, and we can find ourselves feeling disconnected, stressed, and uncertain about what direction to take. How do we identify solutions for our life’s challenges? How do we let go of stress and sleep at night? As a therapist, I have counseled with individuals and families for over ten years and have found that problem-solving does not have to be stressful, and that we can work through our toughest issues.
It is common to believe that people in our relationships, or circumstances in our lives cause us to feel the way we do. But it is our thinking, and the way we relate to people and circumstances, that create our feelings and emotions. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps us observe what we are feeling and identify the thoughts that create our feelings. With increased self-awareness, we determine which of our thoughts and perceptions are distorted and unhelpful. As our thinking becomes more realistic, we feel better.
There are several therapy methods that are effective in creating positive change, including Narrative Therapy, Goal Setting, Visioning for Personal Growth, and Mindfulness to promote focus and attention. Let’s engage in a conversation to explore your individual needs, and how best to meet them.
Do you worry too much about different things? Are you hard on yourself, withdraw from others or struggle to engage in life due to feeling down? Would you like to feel less anxious, less depressed or finally work through unresolved trauma? Establishing a relationship with a well-informed therapist provides for no longer feeling alone in your experiences and safely addressing such underlying issues that may be keeping you stuck in your problems, preventing you from reaching your goals and living your best life. I am trained in a variety of evidenced-based therapy approaches to best meet your needs with a personalized care experience.
I use Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, EMDR, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapies. This means I am centered in meeting you where you're at and promoting your ability to heal from the past as well as better manage thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I offer expertise in treating anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, anger management, and relationship problems.
We improve through feeling understood and more capable of managing life's challenges. I am committed to provide a supportive relationship that enhances your ability to work through obstacles and strive for enjoying a life worth living. I consider my work with those I serve to be a privilege and look forward to supporting you in your journey forward!

Hi, I’m Brittnay. I am a licensed therapist providing culturally grounded, intersectional mental health support across California. As a Black, queer practitioner, my practice is rooted in the belief that healing happens when you can bring your entire, authentic self into the room. Navigating a world that often demands compliance can be exhausting. That is why I offer an unapologetic, trauma-informed space where your lived experiences as a QTBIPOC individual are not just understood, but honored. Together, we will work through life’s complexities without you ever needing to explain your basic identity. Whether you are looking to process minority stress, heal from trauma, or navigate relationships, I am here to walk alongside you. You do not have to do this work alone. Let's build a space where you can feel deeply seen, safe, and supported.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I provide a warm, supportive space where you can feel safe to explore what's on your mind, process challenges, and move toward growth and healing. I believe therapy should be a collaborative experience - guided by your needs, your voice, and your goals. Reaching out for support takes courage, and I'm honored to walk alongside you in this process.
